We have long way too go, close to 1 month give or take. So far, historically 2 strong teams Mumbai and CSK are struggling badly and standing at last.

Yeah not so much hype due to various reasons.

-Board exams are about to start in some states or ongoing in some. (minor)
-People started going back to work and other stuff after covid drama. (minor)
-Only 6 month window between 2021-2022 seasons. (main)
-CSK and MI are not performing, one of the main reason TV rating are down in comparison to last year. (main)

Although streaming services like hotstar making a killing this year.

Yes, I absolutely agree and another thing is the decrease in the popularity of cricket around the whole world. And it's not only cricket. Almost all the sports have lost some popularity. Obviously, this has something to do with the Coronavirus situation. And now people are getting back to their normal life and starting to go to work and schools and stuff. So, I think it is understandable. To be honest, I think the only people who have the time of watching a whole T20 match is either students or retired person.

I'm not sure if this "either students or retired person" argument is valid.

It's more like a festival and always gets a prime time slot where family members, friends gets together and have some fun. Yeah it's true that historically IPL window were always close to summer vocation but it's not targeted to any specific audience but all section of society, specially middle class.

There is no doubt Krishna 19th maiden over was enough for this win but still currently top scorer for RR Buttler is having an amazing time in this season's IPL as he is currently leading the table with his 491 runs in 7 innings with the help of three centuries. Now with this win RR is at top of table as GT and RCB also having same points but GT is going through with one match in hand which can bring back them at top.
Delhi's batting line up also done good job specially at the end overs Rovman Powell hits few massive sixes but still not good enough for their team's win Pant has some concerns on no ball as he and Warner both done some talk with field empires, but they have no control on this all which is still some controversial, but it's all end.

Rajasthan got everything right this time. They got the perfect team balance and their players are in top form. Jos Buttler is in such terrific form that Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer usually doesn't get much of an opportunity to bat. Their bowlers are in terrific form (Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin). The only issue is with the middle order, which looks slightly weak with Riyan Parag and Karun Nair not in good form. They have a good chance to lift the trophy this time.

After losing the toss, Rajasthan won the match against Delhi and topped the table! A total of five tosses were lost by Sanju Samson, and he won every match. Sanju is enjoying such excellent luck, their performances are boosted by both batters and ballers. There is an excellent chance that RR can win the trophy this time around since they have a balanced side.

Rajasthan's performance is awesome this season. Especially their batsmen are playing very well. If the bowlers are able to play well, Rajasthan has a chance to win the title this season. Rajasthan Royals are now at the top of the table after winning 5 out of 7 matches. I would say they are at the top of the table right now because of the great performance of their batsmen.

Yes, 156 runs is chasable. Everytime a team losses the match out of small margin, then it'll be the lack of performance at the opening. Finally there is hope with the batting of Andre Russell, but he wasn't able to do it in the last over. Gujarat Titans once again made themselves strong with the win. Gujarat Titans have almost confirmed for the playoff. Now in the second match Royal Challengers were performing the worst of IPL.

Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant received a 100% fine against Rajasthan games yesterday. According to the IPL, there were code of conduct violations during last night's match. It is likely the authorities take pleasure in this behavior as it attracts more attention. The penalty should have been more severe. Umpires should also be penalized for their poor performance. Who will be responsible for fining umpires who make incorrect calls?

I was totally surprised and disappointed to see Bangalore's performance today. Before this match, Bangalore had won 5 out of 7 matches. Their performance in every match was excellent. But I did not imagine that they would have such a batting disaster against Hyderabad today. Bangalore had a very bad performance today.
On the other hand, Hyderabad has won the last 5 matches and is now in very good form. Maybe in a few days they will occupy the top spot on the table.

These figures are not horrible as it's usual business of RCB they are having four lowest totals in top ten lowest totals of IPL history, but good thing happen they fail to break their record of the lowest runs which is 48 against KKR in 2017. Just Maxwell and Suyash which successfully touch double-digit all others fall in single and good thing happened Kohli having his successive Golden Duck of this season which is not having big chaos on his career as he is already in talk of town about his form so with these innings he is helping his opponents to do more shout on him about his future.

With today win now, SRH jumps at second spot behind GT as now they are having 10 points from 7 matches and RCB still at fourth after having 10 points from 8 matches.

From the start of the KKR innings there is no stable scoring. No big partnership got developed, that's a big problem that affects the innings in the last moment. The top four batting order altogether have contributed 23runs. Even after that there is no big change, only Andre Russell and Singh contributed. If not this would've gone a one sided match.

Once again it came true that MSD is the king of finisher. Watching the last over is really thrilled, upon the first ball six it looked like a winning moment for KKR, and it didn't happen.

I really don't know why the collapse happened in the batting order of RCB. is there any special reason for that to happen?

I really don't think so, but I hope that they will be able to play better in the next match. Their next opponent is also very strong and I hope that they will be ready to face them this time. And in that match, after they got out for only 68 runs it was impossible for them to defend that.
