Once again Gujarat Titans have won the match with the power packed performance of Rashid Khan in the last over scoring 25 runs for the required 22 runs. This is a bad defeat for Sunrisers Hyderabad, because all the efforts that were made upto the 19th over was wasted in a single over. Muthiah Muralidharan who is the bowling coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad got much tensed upon the bowling of Marco Jansen. In most of the matches played by Gujarat Titans playing second have ended same as today.

After 16 overs, I thought the Gujarat match would be lost. But in Rashid Khan's unbeaten innings, Gujarat got an unimaginable victory and is now at the top of the points table. It was not easy to win by batting for 196 runs. The performance of openers Wriddhiman Saha and Gill was very good. They did well in the beginning but the middle order players did not play well. We have high expectations of players like Miller. He should perform more responsibly.

Even by the 20th over everyone could've believed it is a win for Sunrisers Hyderabad. All the expectations got crushed by Rashid Khan. To be honest I am still amazed by those shots from Rashid Khan. it was looking like he was just heating some short-arm jabs in every ball and the balls traveled the distance. great innings from Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia. unbelievable finish of the match at the end. I honestly thought Sunrisers Hyderabad was going to win because even after all that hitting, 22  from 6 is just a little too much but that was obviously not enough for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

I didn't watched the complete match just saw the final scorecard and from there it looks like and easy win for DC as they have 6 balls to spare with 4 wickets in hands. Sometimes seeing the final scorecard didn't give you complete picture of what happened on the ground. You are right or two wickets in 17 or 18 over might have done the job for KKR.

I believe in yesterday’s match in the beginning, the pitch was not supportive for the team who bats first and it was the reason spinners of the DC team could do wonders and had the first four consecutive wickets within no time. When KKR lost 4 wickets in the early stage of the match I thought they will not be able to score 100 runs but in the end, Nitish Rana scored 57 runs in just 34 balls which helped them to reach 146. I felt in the first session of the match the ball was staying low the wicket as per my opinion was helping the spinners more. DC also faced the same issue but Warner was able to lead them to a win.

Punjab Kings are placed 6th with 8 points with 4 wins while Lucknow Supergiants are placed 4th with 10 points after winning 5 games.

Punjab Kings has a strong batting line. Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan are in good form. Shikhar Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa played well in the last game and the same would be expected from them.

Even i feel like this season is being dragged for a long period of time with single matches per day and majority of the time there were no matches on Sunday which was strange. Usually during the start of the season there would be two matches daily and may be this is in accordance with the broadcast team that they need to drag the tournament this long.
