The match was not easy for Sri Lanka, but their opening batsman Pathum Nissanka has completed great innings and they were able to draw the game with a lot of fighting against Australia.

Due to Hazlewood's death over, the Lankans were able to score only 5 runs in that over and in return, Australia won their match by spending only 2 balls.

Even Sri Lanka lost this series by 3 - 0 with 2 more matches expected in next few days but still very good for them as they have very good and fighting players for better future which can help them to increase quality of this team which is badly going down recently specially after retirement of few legendary players.

The second match which ends in Super Over was a good example of their fighting spirit, but sadly in the third match they lost their best player Hasaranga due to covid19 positive test, and now he is not available for the rest of the series. Pathum Nissanka a very promising young talented player with few more are not having good time in International circuit, but they still need some better domestic set up which help these youngsters for having better exposure for good form and skills.

What a lovely match it was. Yes India own the 1st Paytm T20 against WI. Yes there was a lot of pressure at the end when wickets were falling back to back. But Surya Kumar played well and handled the situation very well and yes Surya Kumar along with Vekatesh Iyer played till the end easily scoring the required scores. It was a challenging match but finished smoothly at the end. Good work from WI as well. Pooran really played well. Good match. Awaiting for the 2nd T20.

What do you guys think will be the current brand value of IPL? Last year due to the pandemic it did dip but with the current year it should again retain its old spot. I was going through some articles related to it and found out that in 2019 the value in INR was 47500 crore and in 2020 it was 45800 crore. With the inclusion of two new teams I guess it should surpassed the 50k mark. Do you guys think so?

This year IPL is going to take place after a lot of drama and I think that has got more attention from people for this year's IPL. Actually, it will not be surprising if IPL  surpasses the 50k mark.

I am honestly surprised because I didn't think IPL actually made that much in 2020. And even though that yaar IPL had to be canceled, IPL made those numbers. One can only imagine what is going to happen this year. I think probably will be between 50k-53k or around that.

I think these are media rights numbers for 1 cycle. I think overall BCCI earn minimum 500-600 Millon usd every year through IPL
Anyway bidding for IPL rights are about to take place soon and if i go by BCCI estimates then they are expecting almost 3x amount of money when compare to 2018-22 cycle (16000-ish crore ). So additional 45000 Crore 2023-27 cycle.

I think that is achievable if everything goes to plan. But we all have seen pretty strange things happen in the world in the past couple of years so nothing is certain. But if all's good, it's very much possible to even surpass that.

I am honestly surprised because I didn't think IPL actually made that much in 2020. And even though that yaar IPL had to be canceled, IPL made those numbers.

I am actually not surprised by those numbers since the pandemic helped IPL 2020 in a big way despite all the issues which is why BCCI raked in big bucks even though there were very few spectators.

It was an easy win for India though WI gave a good target. I was expecting target of 130 to 140 from WI but Porran innings and late hitting by Pollard take the score to 157. In reply India was steady and they just lost 4 wickets while chasing this 157 runs target. Still nothing impressive from kohli.

It was another boring match. India keep decimating West Indies as expected who keep delivering horrible performances consistently in recent times. India will most likely whitewash this series too.

Sri Lanka is a country which produced a lot of great players over the years.

And they were quite unlucky to miss out on one of their key players. I think that Sri Lanka should carefully monitor their young cricketers so that they can be the team once again that they were.

West Indies who were bowling well in the ODI series didn't really bowl that great here while on the other hand there batting was far better than the ODI series. But after the watching the first match I
 somehow get the feeling that T20 series too is going to be a cakewalk for the Indian team. I thought WI could give a good competiton in this format but unfortunately they aren't able to. Is this because of India's sheer strength at home?

N Srinivasan openly threatened Suresh Raina after he withdrew from the IPL last year. So it was not surprising to see CSK not bidding for him. But I don't know why the other franchises refused to bid for him. Why they are acting like a cabal? With Indian players in great demand this time around (even Karun Nair attracted a bid of 140 lakh INR), it was surprising to see a player with such a good record in the IPL going unsold. Raina is just 35 years old and I believe that he still has 3-4 years of prime cricket left with him.

Anyone following PSL ? Karachi lost its 8 consecutive match while Multan Sultan won the match and are on top of posts table. Interesting thing is karachi Kings captain is none other then babar azam who is Pakistan national team captain in all formats.

Yes, I have to agree with this because I also think Suresh Raina is just washed and there are far better players who can easily replace him at any given time.
He is just too old right now and his skills are not good enough at the moment. I think he will be more of a burden for a team rather than helping the team.

PSL matches are gaining too much excitement that even the players can't control their emotions in the field. Yesterday we witnessed the exchanges of the most controversial signs when the  pakistan bowler Sohail Tanvir under fire after obscene gesture on the field. Although both players were later fined 15% of the match fee but it was exciting to watch war scenes amount players inside the ground. PSL entertainment can't be compared with any league in the world.

This is not entertainment just nonsense and PCB must punish both of them so no one dare to do it again. Entertainment is seeing karachi scoring 174 runs. Finally they manage to give a decent target. Except Babar Azam all batsman of karachi contributed there part. Can karachi win today ?

I think PCB should not allow these types of acts in the match and take strict actions like banning these players for 2 or more matches. Among the foreign players in Barisal will be Chris Gayle, DJ Brabo, Mojibur Rahman. Shakib Al Hasan will be the captain. On the other hand, foreign players Moin Ali, Sunil Naraun and Faf Duplessis will play in Comilla. Imrul Kayes will be the captain. Between the two teams I support Comilla because this team has a lot of good players. Sometimes he can turn the tide of the game. Chris Gayle, on the other hand, plays much better in the final. So it cannot be said which team wins.

Ben and Sohail have old rivalry and this all started after Ben scored 27 runs in 19th over bowled by Sohail. 15% is just a peanut for both players. I think PCB is reluctant to take strict against the Australian player.

Interesting match going on b/w Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United. Islamabad are 50/0 as they are chasing a huge target of 207. A win here by Peshawar can take them to semi.

You know, IPL generated really good numbers in spite of the pandemic situation. I think the numbers are only going to be on the rise in the future.
And also the heavier the pockets will be of the BCCI. But I also think that Talent-Hunt is really good through the IPL and a lot of young players will also emerge from the IPL.

Such incidents are part of almost every league and in fact they are part of entertainment also. Due to this not many boards are taking action againest just violations. In current match Islamabad United need 49 runs in 26 balls. The star performer in todays game is Azam khan who is not out on 71 runs, United need to bowl him out if they wanna win this game.

Because the players of Fortune Barisal and Comilla Victorians are playing very well in this tournament. The foreign players of both the teams are doing much better, especially those who are from Comilla Victorians.

Peshawar have won the match, but this happened after strong fight from Islamabad United scoring 196 runs. From the beginning of the innings Islamabad kept the run rate, in between it got little disturbed. The same made Islamabad loss the match. In the last over Islamabad required 22 runs to win the match. The tail end batsmen managed to score 11 runs from the bowling of Ben Cutting.
