Wahab Riaz destroyed the chances of Lahore Qalandars during super-over. Fakhar Zaman and Harry Brook took the responsibility of opening, but both of them failed. Fakhar managed to make just 2 runs from 3 balls, while Brook made 3 from 3. They couldn't score a single boundary. And all this after some terrific fireworks from Shaheen Shah Afridi, who scored 23 runs from the final over that was bowled by Mohammad Umar. 7 was required from the final ball and he managed to hit a six. This guy shows a lot of promise with the bat as well.

This match was absolutely insane and really great to see. This match had almost everything that cricket could offer to its viewers. First the run chase and then the bowling of Wahab Riaz in the super over.

But Lahore should have managed some more runs in the super over. I think that super over is absolutely based around luck. A team has to be really lucky to win the super over, and luck ran out for Lahore. we can't blame Shaheen Afridi for not being able to defend when he has to defend a score next to nothing.

The difference between India and England is absolutely close to non-existent and it would be interesting to see if India can hold on to their recently claimed first spot.

I just checked the new rankings and find out that Pakistan has highest number of points i.e. 12,225 but since they have played more number of matches thats why they are at no 3. There is just 10 points difference between India and England. England recetly to WI in T20 series and before that they have horrible Ashes. So I think England will go more down in the list because of there performance.

But I think India could have easily won the series by playing on their field. It is true that Rohit Sharma's captaincy and his performance deserve special mention. Their opening batsman Ishan Kisan is playing very well in this T20 series so they won the match easily, thus the West Indies are on the way to defeat. Their line of command was not very good. I think they could have done better if they had bowled a little better with batting.

Shaheen Afridi is never been a clean hitter but his this achievement will be remembered in twenty/20 history for very long time even they also lost match in Super Over but still hitting 3 sixes and total 23 runs in last over never been easy for any player specially a tail-ender good and entertaining cricket is now going to end in few days as we are heading for play-offs and then final on Sunday 27 February.

Rohit Sharma's captaincy is good along with his performance. You can see this during the match, most of the time the decisions, fielding plans will be discussed along with the team particularly with Kohli and changes were done. This is a kind of good attitude and the combined effort used to give best results. This time it was the second match which was supposed to be a winning match for West Indies. In my view West Indies is good, but they need to train players to understand the match situation and play accordingly.

Ireland and UAE both have qualified for final of ICC Men's T20 World Cup at Al Amerat. If you see players then Irish team is composed of local players while all UAE players are imported from South Asia. Now team like Nepal who is also composed of local players is out from ICC T20 WC 2022 as they lost to UAE in semi finals. I don't know why ICC is making fun of cricket by allowing such UAE and Oman to play with such combination.

What a shocking defeat for Nepal in crucial semi-final ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier as I was expecting very good win for them but UAE with the help of adopted players done some better and now have place into final for facing Ireland. Mohammad Waseem and Vriitya Aravind done amazing job for the UAE, and they give very tough target of 176, but Nepal completely fail and manage just 107 runs in 18.4 overs this was one-sided affair. In the second semi-final Ireland beat Oman as Andy McBrine's all round performance give them a place in the final which is going to play 24 February.

Even UAE win against very spirited Nepal which was full of local talented players, I am feeling bad for them as it's not good and fair from ICC because they need to bring some law for promoting team like this instead of the UAE and Oman.

I would say that it is a sad day for cricket. Nepal deserved a spot in the world cup and they have some world class players like Sandeep Lamichhane. But Nepal is a poor country and they don't have the money power when compared to oil rich Gulf states such as the UAE and Oman. Nepal team was 100% comprised of citizens, while the UAE created a team by importing first class players from India and Pakistan on tourist visa and then including them in the national team. Feels bad for Nepal. Well.. at least the Ireland team managed to qualify.

It Nepal can have few more players like him they can easily reach the level of Afghanistan. The result of this match can only change the position but the top 4 teams will remain unchanged. After this match, I will share the final points table and also will share the play-off schedules so no one misses these finals matches of the best league PSL.  

It's a great time for PCB and Pakistan as first phase of this PSL7 is going to end with huge success and after coming in Lahore they have full stadium and very good atmosphere now just Faulkner saga having some concern, but it's not going to have any negative impact in over all.

Today, we have last match between Lahore Qalanders vs Peshawar Zalmi even both teams already in play-offs, so this match is not going to have any impact on league table because Qalanders are having very healthy NRR which is going to help them for staying at second spot and Zalmi will be at 3rd position. But I have no idea who is going to face each other in play-offs, but hopefully we will have some good and entertaining cricket in coming days of this event and better teams will qualify for Grand Final.

But I am from my heart Qalander, so I am feeling they will be champion of this season their performance were also very good with Fakhar is in great touch with having 500+ runs is great achievement for this guy.

PSL is seeing some great achievements this year and it has been a success story till now for Pakistan. It would actually be interesting to see how much money this year's PSL generates.

With every PSL edition, PCB earns more money than the previous editions of this tournament. Also, if the whole tournament is played within the country (and not shited to a neutral venue like dubai), the earnings are even better.

To have a glimpse of the earning, you can see the Salary Comparison of PSL Superstars in 2016 and 2022 and see the increments. The more the players are been given the salaries, the more the board is making money through the league.

Rivalry or not but auction based system is hard to beat because market based demand plays the big part here and any tom-dick-harry could get easy million dollar if their luck plays out.

Real comparison would be what if IPL is hosted at same time as World Cup and India not playing in the World cup. This would be more interesting considering IPL is about to become bigger after next media rights auction. If BCCI gets lucky then they will earn almost $900M to 1 billion dollar every year just from the IPL, atm they earn about $500-600 million.

No, PSL or any other league cannot compete with IPL because the amount of money spent on IPL is far more than any other league.
Secondly, India will NEVER schedule the IPL at the time PSL is in progress because this will hurt them as the viewership will be divided which they will never want.

Today, we have the 1st playoff between Lahore and Multan. The winner of today's match will reach directly to the finals however the loser today will still have one more chance.

IPL is obviously going to be a lot bigger in terms of money but that's not going to make India host the IPL at the same time as the world cup because they will lose the money that they will gain while the world cup is going on. Comming back to the PSL playoff, Lahore Qalanders are well in control of the match as Multan only made 110 runs in 15 overs. I think this wicket is not a 200+ one and a score of 150+ could be competitive one.

I think this is a big reason why Pakistan is trying to host every series in their own country and not any neutral venue. In Pakistan obviously, Pakistan is going to have more viewers and also generate more revenue. This PSL has generated quite a buzz in the whole cricketing world and I think it is going to get only better from this situation.

Pakistan has a really good pipeline and we can guess that by watching the players that are being produced by Pakistan. And that alone I think can be really important for Pakistan to get them up through the rankings. And maybe it could be a thing that PSL will become the strait rival of IPL but I think that's a long time away, to be honest.

Today Bangladesh vs Afghanistan has played an excellent match. Afghanistan were all out for 215 runs. In the beginning, Afghanistan played very well. But could not run enough. Later, Bangladesh went down to play at the target of 216 runs and lost 6 wickets in the first 10 overs. Where the main players of the team are out. Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiqur, Mahmudullah, Liton. Later, Afif and Mehdi scored 174 runs each. Afif scored 93 and Mehedi 83 runs. In the end, that's what nobody thought. Bangladesh left the field with a victory.

Multan Sultans completely outclass Lahore Qalanders in qualifier of PSL it is really shameful end of this match because after end of Multan inning I was feeling great about Lahore they have done very good job and restrict them for good achievable target of 163, but sadly no batsman try to stay on crease and have some better chance for Lahore just Fakhar done good job and complete his another fifty and after end of 13 overs I was feeling now they can chase this target easily but suddenly introduction of Dhani bring down these all hopes, and he ruined Lahore batting with his classic bowling.

Wicket in every over for Multan really amazing from their bowlers and now most chances they will win again this title because after today's performance I am feeling they are unstoppable.

Nepal team needs good support from ICC. Netherlands is strong and Zimbabwe doesn't seem to be performing well. It is unable to watch these matches, making them visible to the world is a needed one. Someone looking USA in cricket all of the sudden feels, when this happened.
