Rahul Chahar performed well in this tournament for MI to be honest and also they got all rounders who can complete the overs in case if it is needed.I think the unsung hero of SRH called Sandeep Sharma set this match onto their side because he got three big wickets and two inform left handers which helped the whole bowling unit to perform well.

Rahul Chahar is a promising young player. He has performed well, but it is impossible to compare the impact from his bowling, to what others such as Rashid Khan and Varun Chakravarthy had. In the middle orders, other spinners such as Rashid, Varun, Chahal.etc were able to take crucial wickets and slow down the run rate. Rahul Chahar wasn't that effective in this aspect.

But, if such performances in play off or just a bad day means they may be out of semi-final race like if they are not top 2 teams. No quality spinner is really hurting them very badly as now its really important for every team to have good and quality spinner for short format matches MI can pay for this in coming play off match because all other teams have some good and quality spinners and they are depening on pace attack which is not guarantee for success in current season of IPL in UAE.

You are right. Despite having such good bowlers in their team, they are not giving the expected results. I think Bumra-Boult-Pattinson is the best pase bowling lineup in this season's IPL. However, they lost by 10 wickets against SRH. it is really embarrassing. Although i think they deliberately lost today's match to prevent KKR from playing in the playoff.(It's my personal opinion)

They have a world class pace bowling attack, and a very ordinary spin attack. That is the problem. In Asian tracks, spin can be more important (especially in the middle overs) when compared to pace. And I guess this is the reason why their bowling has failed in a number of matches. Their bowling is not balanced due to this factor. This is their sole vulnerability, but it has resulted in their defeat in a number of matches till now.

The level of competition this season was really high and some of pitches were really small compared to others and it is possible that they could go for runs if there is no assist from the pitch. Bumra and Boult didn't play today so they are weaker in terms of their bowling lineup that is why they lost by 10 wickets.SRH or KKR there is nothing to d with MI because even if they lose they are going to be top so they took this much with no seriousness but SRH on the other side has been in good form after beating table toppers in their recent games.

SRH's next game is against RCB. SRH is back on the truck very well. I would expect a win from SRH. Although RCB is a very good team. But they have not been able to perform as expected in a few matches. They have lost 4 matches is a row. I would definitely like to see a competitive game in the playoff.

The toss is crucial here, RCB has the players to beat any team especially ABD can chase any score but it all depends upon the pitch situation and the toss. Warner on the other hand is playing well and they have the best T20 spinner and if the openers can continue to give them the start and the middle can rise to the occasion then it will be an interesting match. The weakest link for RCB is their bowling.

SRH's next game is against RCB. SRH is back on the truck very well. I would expect a win from SRH. Although RCB is a very good team. The momentum is with Sunrisers Hyderabad and their batting looks really strong with the inclusion of Wriddhiman Saha. And fortunately for them, the absence of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar hasn't weakened their bowling. Rashid Khan is almost unplayable at times, and Sandeep Sharma, Natarajan and Jason Holder have given him a lot of support. So it's going to be tough for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

If they really want to promote the women's sport, then they should start a WIPL, similar to the WBBL they have in Australia. These 2-3 matches are benefiting no one. They were organized by the BCCI to quell the criticism, after they were accused of ignoring the women's game. Why can't they start the WIPL? Initially they can have just three or four teams.

Important game for Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals and two of their main players Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard going for a duck, it is not a idle situation for MI and they have a long batting line up but if they are not able to put a score well above 170 runs i am expecting Delhi Capitals to chase the score even though MI have a good bowling line up.

Mumbai Indians are the favorites to win this IPL. Their last match was a disappointment but perhaps they needed a final loss, before they winning all the qualifiers. Also we have witness a poor batting performance by Delhi Capitals and they top three batsmen made no runs.
