Yeah I completely understand that these games can at times be a bit uncertain but another major thing that happened during that match was Chris Jordan's run being given a short run in 18th over. In Replay one could easily see that he completed the run it was just bad umpiring. That 1 run would have been too useful for KXIP. I don't why these fishy things happen in such close encounters.

I don't think weather is that bad. IPL in india is also played in pretty hot conditions. Especially in for coastal teams thry experience too much humidity too so players must be habitual to that.

There is not even a 0.0001% chance that the matches are fixed. KXIP lost the match as a result of their own stupidity. There is no point in blaming the umpire or anyone else for their defeat. They just needed one run from three balls and still they went down. Mayank Agarwal played so well till the final over. But then he wasted a golden opportunity to give KXIP 2 valuable point as a result of his short-sightedness.

There is no room for complacency in T20 cricket. A single mistake can cost you the match in this format. In the test format, or even in the ODI format, you have some room for maneuvering. But no such liberty with T20 format. Every ball is like a life-and-death duel. Hopefully they have learnt their lesson and will perform in a better manner during their next match (vs RCB, on 24th September).

What a game! What a great innings by Samson! I could not take my eyes off the TV. I became of his fan. But CSK is a good team. They have some skillful batsman like Waton , du plessis  ,Dhoni and Jadeja. But 216 is a huge total. I don't think CSK can win the match anymore. I think they can score like near around 180.

Lost the match by only 16 runs,CSK took the match too vlose but too many early wickets made them to be on the losing aide today.Anyway good to see MSD 3 convective sixes in the last over.CSK missing the one extra bowler this season which never happened in any of their previous seasons as far as I know.

Well KXIP cost me my live in-play bet as I was confident they would win just needing 1 run from 3 balls but it wasn't to be. I'm new to betting on the IPL and I wanted to try a game that looked good for a win but it goes to show even with 3 balls left and to get 1 run isn't a certainty.

It was a messy situation, the odds during the last over for KXIP to win changed drastically after the first 2 balls and if anyone wagged a bet with 14 odds on the opposition it would have been golden  .

What a great innings by Samson! I could not take my eyes off the TV. I became of his fan.

I am also impressed by the way in which he was taking apart spinners and most of his sixes he struck were huge in any grounds, i have not seen him play for India, is he an explosive batsman and does he bat like this always, if so India got a prospect for the next T20 World cup.

CSK did manage to make 200 runs which is indeed a very good chase but since the target was too high, they fell short of just 17 runs. MS Dhoni sixes did come late in the match when there was no chance of winning for CSK.

The attitude shown by Dhoni was very disappointing. He could have batted at no.5 or no.6, but he chose to came to bat only after Kedar Jadhav and Ruturaj Gaikwad. What's the logic in sending the inexperienced Gaikwad to bat, when the required rate is around 12 runs per over? Dhoni could have taken the responsibility and scored some quick runs then.

Dhoni's match finshing have long been talked about but for most part of the last few hears, it has been mostly hype.
