I knew that the main struggle will unfold closer to the end, so I decided to login to WinDice during the last hour ... and then, sadly, I forgot about it. Now, seeing the leaderboard, I can say that I had no chance to finish in the top 10, but I could finish in the top 40 though. Should have set a reminder, I guess.) Congrats to all the winners again!

I do not recommend anyone to get involved in this casino. The thing is that it is adjusted so that you lose. Namely:
1. The minimum bet is 10 satoshi.
2. Minimum sending between users is allowed only if you have more than 0.002 bitcoins on your balance. That is, the administration itself forces you to play a minimum of 0.002 or more decent amounts, which naturally you will not succeed.
3. The commission for the withdrawal of 0.0002, which is just a wild sum for this kind of institution.

I do not see how these three parameters will be the reason to lose at windice ? All these three factors do not contribute to the winning or losing.

As per my experience at windice, I do not find any reason why we should not  gamble there. It's perfectly safe and enjoyable to gamble at this site.

The weird thing about wagering contests is that most of the time people who end up in the top 5 positions all way until the last seconds to see and feel how the last seconds will be like so they don't gamble too much. Isn't the purpose of a contest is to see who can do the most damage?

I mean whats point of making as minimum as possible while still being top wagered winner? Sometimes I see people in other places with like 200 btc at top place while second is just 1 or something which makes more sense, if you can do a high amount of gambling then you should do it in a contest, of course if you want to gamble that is, if you don't want to gamble then don't join the contest at all. If you have the money for it and if you want to join then you should join totally and not like this.

I have similar experience in wagering contest which are for shorter time duration. While we are seeing who is wining and losing, in the last minutes or seconds, suddenly we see a lot of hidden members appears and also with big wagering amount and those are the ones who mostly got the top positions. I sometimes have the feeling that sites manipulate the results of the wagering contest and award the winners to their self made hidden accounts.

Congratulations to all the winners, this has been a great challenge for both the players and windice. Looking at the top 50 the total overall seems such a high decent number, people did wagered a lot, however the top winner yoloer seems to wagered only 5.31, which is not bad but the closes is 3.3 than 2.56 and 7th place is already under 1 btc, which goes to show, there are plenty of small fish playing at windice, there is a ton of active users and everyone loves it, why wouldn't we its a great website.

However, there are not that many whales, yoloer seems like a decent whale, not a bad amount to wager for 3 days, definitely deserves the title of a whale but he won't be too much all by himself, in my own opinion there should have been at least 10+ people who wagered at least 1 and should be 5+ people who wagered 4+ btc.

I wouldn't be worried with their registration system being available after an account is created under the same IP. A lot of bitcoin casinos would let you create more than one account but even though they have rules against multi accounts some casinos have exceptions. For example if there's no support available and the only way to message them is through the chat box. Imo if someone was able to create another account under their own IP then the one who's at fault here is the user rather than the casino since they failed to secure their connection.

You are forgetting about the amounts won along the way. Yes you are likely to lose 2 times within a hundred rolls playing with 98% win chance, but you should also take into account the cumulative amount of the 98 winning bets.

ethical aspects of such behavior aside ( its a clear attempt to abuse the system )
I'm sure windice has security in place to prevent such "players" to take advantage of them
besides , it is written in their TOS that doing this is against the rules and can and will lead to all of the accounts closure and funds confiscated

So based on default inputs, house edge=1-2*0.495=0.01
This number won't change if you change payout or chance. For example if you change the payout to 4, the chance becomes 24/75%. So the house edge is 1-4*0.24750=0.01
In the long term you lose 1% of the amount you bet.
