From what i understand the contract given to Francis Ngannou was a 3 fight deal with $8 million a fight and then the PPV money which is obviously multiple times more than the guaranteed amount. The reason he rejected the offer is he wanted more freedom from his contract and he wanted to fight Tyson Fury or similar boxers and the UFC rejected that completely and he wanted health insurance all year round and we can say that he was doing this for the rest of the fighters but you cannot bend the UFC like that because if they bow down to his demands then the rest of the fighters will start demanding these.

Nah, that's almost certainly not right and Ariel misunderstood and others have been reporting on that falsely. Jon Jones apparently got around 8 million for his full deal and Ariel asked Francis if that was the same he got offered and he said something along the lines of it was around the same but that will likely be for Jon Jones full 8 fight deal. There's no way Francis is getting 8 million per fight. Connor probably doesn't even get that and the most Francis got paid before was half a million. He can get a million+ for fights now but no way he's getting 8 million per fight.

Nice Find on Francis Ngannou's Trainer definitely knows something and pretty much I am waiting for Francis Ngannou's statement the thing here is I never really trust the UFC's management there is some shady stuff going on inside, but even though that was the case we all really enjoy those fights but sometimes forget the value of fighters and I think Francis Ngannou is a big asset that has run away for the UFC, and as I have to know PFL is offering him a much greater contract because we all know the level of audience invitation when PFL would sign Ngannou, although I think Bellator will be a great new home for him well PFL is really good enough,

Everyone is waiting for something to hear from Francis Ngannou's after the decision to exit the UFC fights at this age, I mean he is still not young but not old enough to make the decision for retirement because he is just 36 and on the other hand I see today on the news that UFC legend Conor McGregor said something about Francis Ngannou and give some advice because Francis Ngannou could never reach what he deserved for as the already said: https://talksport.com/sport/mma/1306453/conor-mcgregor-advice-francis-ngannou-ufc-exit/

Francis has already come out and said what he wants to do on Ariel's MMA Hour show and his own Youtube channel. He isn't going to retire. He'll probably box and go with one of the other MMA promotions unless he just sets his sights on boxing as that's where the big money will be.

As for champions, I think there's gonna be a Russian take over in the UFC.  The Russian prospects coming up are all tooough.

And as for Jon Jones vs Cyril Gane, I don't mind it.  I mean I'm disappointed it's not vs Ngannou but it's better than nothing.

Who's your money on though? They're both fairly evenly matched according to Skybet odds but Jon Jones is still the favourite. It's going to be interesting since he's been out of action for so long but I don't think this is gonna be an easy fight for Jon at all.

Still deciding on a few for this weekend, but in terms of the Jon Jones vs Gane, I'm going with Jon. I'm not the biggest fan of Gane though, so consider me bias. Not that I don't like Gane, he seems a nice guy, and he's got some skills. I just never bought into the hype as much as most people did. I think he lacks a ground game, and even his striking has been challenged. I thought Tai did fantastically against him until he took those kicks, which I'll give Gane credit for those were some nasty kicks. Ngannou made it look easy while carrying several injuries. Jon's a grappler, and any time he wishes to take it to the mat, he should do without too much resistance.

I guess the one question for me is how much has this time of effected Jon, if it hasn't effected him to much I think he wins quite easily. I'll be jumping on those 1.80 odds that's for sure.

Francis Ngannou has already spoken, and he said that contract was suppressive toward fighters Ngannou just wants to have his freedom, but He and the UFC doesn't come to terms with what he wants to do with his contract and he already has said that he will do some boxing 1st and by boxing, I think this is the Tyson Fury bout he is talking about, and that he always love MMA so I guess he will surely sign for a different organization or promotion, that will have a contract that suits him, and here is the VIDEO of Francis Ngannou,

Well, I think you are right, and being a Ciryl Gane fan I do criticize his striking against Tai Tuivasa that definitely left Tai unfazed a little, and even though he is more of a calculating fighter the Brawler on Tai Tuivasa is pretty much overwhelming that he got Gane knockdown, but It surely great that ane have recovered easily but he was surely surprised about that, for me, Jon Jones is just new in the Heavyweight division, we all know his movement in the Light Heavyweight but this is the Heavyweight and there are different things in here that the Light Heavy, for me Ciryl Gane is an adapting fighter, he surely is learning from hi past fights, so there are things that he could counter those takedowns,

I don't doubt that, however he's never fought Jon Jones, and actually never really fought anyone like him. I think he could potentially be in for a rude awakening, especially since he struggled against Ngannou who doesn't have a long history in grappling or wrestling, and was basically injured on that night, but still made Gane look the weaker of the two. Jon Jones' wrestling is nothing short of great; he out wrestled some of the best in the game, which includes Daniel Cormier.

I'm close to my predictions now Tongue. Honestly, I'll probably do two predictions; one of actual realistic predictions, then my betting slip. Since, I don't actually know who's going to win in the Moreno, and Fig fight. Maybe, it being in Fig's home country could be the deciding factor, but I don't know how much of an impact that'll have on him or Moreno.

Jon Jones is a great fighter but anyone who is not fighting for years in octagon, changes with category and then fight for championship title, can't be favorite for me.
I am expecting to see close fight but I am giving slight advantage to Gane in first fight, in potential second or third fight Jones could win.

Let's get back to upcoming event with great fights Glover Teixeira vs Jamahal Hill and Figueiredo vs Moreno.
I think UFC has a problem with both of this divisions, many fighters are injured long term and others don't have enough quality.
UFC is trying to make quick money repeating fights but they can't do that for much longer.
My main bets are Glover, Figueiredo Banana Man, Neil Magny all to win, but let's first see if everyone will pass weightins.

Honestly..?  I get that Jones hasn't fought in around three years but I still pick him cos of the wrestling advantage.  I just can't trust Gane's defense against TD's after seeing Ngannou control him with a bum knee.  Lol.  But a match between Jones and Ngannou, I got Ngannou.  The guy is just yuuuge and he has worked on his TD defense as he showed in his rematch vs Miocic.  I fancy Ngannou knocking out Jones imho.  I was really looking forward to that match up and I think somewhere along the line somebody prolly regretted letting Ngannou go.

Aaanyway...  Enough about Ngannou.  It's done.  Here are the weigh in vids and face offs.

Wrestlers don't get as rusty, and by that I mean you can lose your speed, and distance management quite easily in the stand up, but wrestling it doesn't change all that much. If he can take Gane down, who got taken down easily by Ngannou I think he could potentially even finish the fight. Gane isn't all that great off of his back. I don't expect a striking masterclass from Jones that's for sure.

Anyway, my predictions:

Anything is possible I don't really like Jon Jones to be the New Heavyweight champion he is new to this division so he should start at the bottom, but anyway he got the same privilege as Conor McGregor so he can do whatever he wants if he wants a straight title match for a division surely the UFC will give it, unfair with the fighters that started below the division, but anyways I think that Cyril Gane could have a plan for Jon Jones that is for sure for me is has already learned the hard way on his fight with Francis Ngannou, and Tai Tuvasa is just very durable to face, but Jon Jones this is going to be an exciting fight that is for sure,

Here is my pick for UFC 283: Teixeira vs. Hill

Glover Teixeira VS Jamahal Hill

The stake odds for this fight are 2.19 for Teixeira and 1.80 for Hill, for this fight, Jamahal Hill has great striking but Glover Teixeira has also fought guys that can hit harder or have decent striking if Glover Teixeira could take this down to the ground quickly this is going to be the end of the fight because I don't really see Jamahal Hill has answers for those takedowns, but takedown defense, but I think Glover Teixeira will surely do a setup takedown for Jamahal Hill, so my pick will be Glover Teixeira,

Deiveson Figueiredo VS Brandon Moreno

The stake odds for this fight are 2.15 for Figueiredo and 1.80 for Moreno, for this fight, I think that Deiveson Figueredo already knows how Brandon Moreno will fight, and Brandon Moreno has a great chin, for Deiveson Figueiredo to not knockout Moreno, but because Deiveson Figueiredo is training with Henry Cejudo he might try to take this fight to the ground so I will go with Deiveson Figueiredo for this fight,

Gilbert Burns VS Neil Magny

The stake odds for this fight are 1.22 for Burns and 4.90 for Magny, Pretty much what can we say with Neil Magny I don't really see him doing much against Gilbert Burns and if this goes to the ground Magny can not do anything to Burns and that will be a 100% win for Gilbert Burns, Magny is not really Physically strong so defending and breaking Burns Grappling is really impossible to him, but I think Magny can have an advantage on the feet because of his reach advantage he can definitely give Burns a hardtime while defending those long reach jabs, but Burns will surely need to take this fight to the ground as fast as he can Khamzat Chimaev style, but my pick is Gilbert Burns,

It is really hard to knock out Texeira. The guys ate nasty knee from Prochazka, survived Polish power. Only got KOed by Rumble and top form Gustafsson. And Texeira is a true Brazilian BJJ (not a black belt BJJ like Poirier for example). Hill havent fought a real Brazilian BJJ gangster ever. The grandpa is going to get his belt back. Or it will be (not likely) a lucky punch by Hill. But, imho Hill will never be successful and title defence.

I am actually going to say the opposite. I believe that Jamahal Hill can win against Texeira. After all, Texeira is 43. And Jamahal Hill is 31. So he is significantly younger than his opponent. That is going to be a positive thing for him.

Of course, his opponent's experience is going to be a positive factor. But after all, it is a fighting game and in this game, physical attributes are more important compared to experience. That's why I genuinely believe that Hill will actually be able to win in this fight. I have my doubts about him defending his title but looking at the opponent that he is facing I can say that he might actually be able to.

Here are the result for the UFC 283 Teixeira VS Hill

Glover Teixeira VS Jamahal Hill ROUND 5 DECISION - LOST

It was a brutal fight and I have noticed that Glover Teixeira was really slow now his age really is getting up on him, men I think he needs to retire soon but it is up to him if he can still fight then let him, but Glover Teixeira for me his pretty much slow against Jamahal Hill, he went on with takedowns but Jamahal Hill got a pretty much good defense but surely the judges have given Hill many points and the damage that strikes of Jamahal Hill has made to much damage on Glover Teixeira, so badly man I know it was a great fight but Glover Teixeira seems pretty much not cut to this anymore,

Deiveson Figueiredo VS Brandon Moreno ROUND 3 DOCTOR STOPPAGE - LOST

Definitely, Brandon Moreno is doing his homework, while Deiveson Figueiredo stays the same and doesn't change his game plan against Moreno, even though Deiveson Figueiredo keeps on the range and kicks to Moreno, Brandon Moreno is calculating and now had a tight guard that Deiveson Figueiredo can not penetrate now, that continues overhand punch and left hook was the one that goes inside Deiveson Figueiredo's defense that damage the eye, I don't know if Brandon Moreno is doing that on purpose but all that left hook and overhand punch do points to the eye of Deiveson Figueiredo, that cuts and injured him,

Gilbert Burns VS Neil Magny ROUND 1 SUBMISSION - WIN

1 round is what Gilbert Burns need to win the fight, it was really a dominant fight for Gilbert Burns body mass and physique were all he needs to dominate Magny, and this is the reason why Khamzat Chimaev didn't go a fight of submission against Gilbert Burns because of Burns muscle mass he would surely face problems with it, so they stayed with a brawl, but it was a great match but with Neil Magny that only lasted 1 round surely because of Burns strength and Physique Magny didn't stand a chance,

Here are the results and glad to see the fights after a long interval.

Source: Wiki

Was expecting Glover to regain the title because of his experience but with the way he fought it looks like age was catching up with him as he was taking all the punches without much counters.

Surprized by Texeira vs Hill performance. I think I have underestimated Hill and overestimated Texeira. And I think a lot of people did the same. At least based on picks here and on sportsbet.io prediction competition.

Two fighters have retired after this tournament. Texeira, who I think could have one more fight against Prochazka. And Rua, who should have retired some time ago. Also Aldo now in UFC hall of fame. Congratz to these fighters and much thanks to them. I will always remember Rua for his soccer kicks in Pride, and how Aldo cleaned whole division with his muau thai. Thanks Texeira for performing on a high level despite his age.

The details of the contract details is exactly what Francis Ngannou said even in his youtube channel and with Ariel.

Half a million is the disclosed amount Francis Ngannou got from his last fight, according to Michael Bisping you get 4 to 5 times the disclosed amount when PPV amount and other revenues are calculated and since you touched Conor McGregor, the disclosed amount in his last fight is around $5 million published through the commission but he took home around $33 million for his last fight.

Jamahal Hill clearly does not have the championship experience and if it was any other opponent other than an aging Glover Teixeira i think he would have been in trouble during the championship rounds. Glover Teixeira struggled to take the fight to the ground and when he took the fight to ground finally he was not able to do the damage, disappointed with the striking of Glover Teixeira as he is clearly slowing down.

Brazil, Rio janeiro UFC 283 finished well. As a matter of fact, the main card of the night started well for the Brazilians and ended badly. Two belts lost.

Johnny Walker continues to rise. He's a really good kicker, he has so many different angles and very hard hands. Paul Craig regretted holding his leg you took the first blow so why don't you let go he stubbornly grabbed that leg and took a bunch of hammerfist on his head.

Belt matches were very competitive.

That left hook thrown by Brandon Monero literally darkened Figuerido's life Cheesy

I don't want to say anything for Teixeira.Despite being 43 years old, he can stand for 25 minutes. Full respectfully.

We can look on that situation from another angle. What kind of champion Jamahal Hill is, if he cant handle a 43 years old fighter that is to retire in any minute. Jamahal Hill barely is able to make more than two title defences. Who will he face next? The real champion Jiri Prochazka? And even if he manages to win Prochazka, what he is going to do against Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz? One is an elite wrestler, and any Blachowicz strike is like being hit by a train.

If Figuerido had not announced his retirement, there might be 5th.

Teixeira vs Hill is a bloody fight, it would have been a stoppage also iff the doc just step in. He is a tough fighter no doubt of that but he obviously couldn't see where the fists are coming from due to the blood. Hill is just being merciful that he didn't KO Glover most probably out of respect.

^  If Fig vs Moreno had been a close one and have gone either way there would def be a fifth.  But no, it was all Moreno this time around.  Moreno was just faster, better.

And Fig isn't retiring.  He's moving up to 135 as the weight cut has always been a problem for him esp now at 35 year old.  And he's always been too big for 125.

Anyway, that was one of the most exciting main events I've seen lately.  And the new guys to watch in the UFC are the Bonfim brothers.  They are good.

I have fully watched every round of that fight, I didn't look at the fact that Hill was merciful not finishing the KO fight out of respect, Hill has been throwing heavy punches with hands and feet every round but Glover's stamina can still last until the final round, if Hill fights a fighter another might have knocked him out in the third round, but I was amazed that Glover lasted until the end of the round even though the fight was not optimal, he didn't return many punches and was unable to lock Hill's neck after he knocked him out.

Pretty good night in terms of fights, and predictions. Unfortunatly, my bet failed. Robocop, and Paul Craig let me down. I bet on Walker to win via decision, and Craig just sort of froze as soon as he got that leg. He's probably one of the most dangerous fighters on the ground, but doesn't have the best techniques of actually getting it on the ground.

Lauren Murphy fight should've probably been stopped by her corner. It wasn't nice to watch that, she took a lot of unnecessary damage, for a very unlikely chance of her knocking out her opponent.
