Fialho has a lot of potential, but he's not very versatile at the moment. I remember when he went on that little mini run of wins, and was basically fighting every two week period until he got humbled. Hopefully, he's learnt from that, and put the work in training. He needs to get better at grappling, and wrestling, and not load up on every single shot he throws.

If he continues to do what he has been doing the past year, and a bit. I think he'll lose this weekend's fight. Although, I do like him, as I said I believe he has a lot of potential, which hopefully won't be wasted. I don't think he's champion material, don't get me wrong. However, he's a fun fighter, albeit a little low on the volume side of things.

Yup as a pick I got Fialho just because of the age.  Salikhov is 38 and he didn't look the same at his last fight vs Jingliang Li.  Now I know Li is higher level of an opponent but still, Fialho can pack a punch and is one tough dude.  Overall it's tough to pick between the two and the lines show it...  It's a coin flip.

Salikhov fought better competition, he has more experience but the age..  Fialho, younger, tougher but fought mostly low level guys in the UFC and lost his biggest test in Jake Matthews.  So dunno...  But is the UFC throwing him a bone by matching him up vs a guy who could be on his way out in Salikhov?

My rundown for the UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Spivak

Derrick Lewis + 180
Serghei Spivak -200

I am going with the underdog Lewis in this match I think that he is heavier than what Spivak has fought so he will likely have a hard time taking him down and for me 1 punch is what Lewis needs to finish the job and surely big money for the underdogs awaits,

Ion Cutelaba +145
Kennedy Nzechukwu - 170

For me, I think Ion Cutelaba would lose this Kennedy Nzechukwu have the decent strength to finish off Cutelaba, while Ion Cutelaba right now has always ended a fight with Decision now, for me he doesn't have the strength anymore, so my pick is Kennedy Nzechukwu,

Muslim Salikhov -110
Andre Fialho -110

This could be a close match, but I will rely on the power of Andre Fialho, he is more younger than Salikhov, and indeed Muslim Salikhov might have a unpredictable kick, it is not enough if you can not knockout your opponent with it, so for me Andre Fialho can win this,

Those are nice picks that pretty much have a very different uptake with the Derrick Lewis VS Serghei Spivak, and the Muslim Salikhov VS Andre Fialho fight, because for the Lewis VS Spivak I got Serghei Spivak winning this with a submission, or a ground and pound win, or maybe a decision could be a great win as long as Salikhov win,

While in Muslim Salikhov's case I really think that Age really doesn't matter Muslim Salikhov is never the same anymore, but is a guy that never backs down in any fight,

And the Ion Cutelaba VS Kennedy Nzechukwu, I have never gotten a pick on it because I was away hesitant with Kennedy Nzechukwu, of Ion Cuteba even be building this again,

Shame to see main event is canceled in last minute after Derrick Lewis was hospitalized because of health issues.
This is one fight I was waiting and I had Lewis on my ticket, but I wish Lewis to get well soon and I hope it's nothing serious.
He didn't have to do any weight cutting or virus so it was something different for him.

Unfortunately the main event is canceled in few hours before the start, it was meant to be Derrick Lewis vs Serghei Spivak, now the main event of UFC NIGHT FIGHT is Kennedy Nzechukwu vs Ion Cuțelaba.
Everyone is making fun of the situation after Lewis got a medical issue as they announced.



In the other hand i saw a good fight that ended in first round where Jack Della finished Danny Roberts by a Knock out, and still also waiting for welterweight fight between Andre Fialho vs Muslim Salikhov which i believe is going to be a great fight as well

The King of Kung Fu really did a great job, and like I have said the kicks really are relentless and can not be predicted by Fialho when it is coming, even with his old age Muslim Salikhov, surely has proven his worth, He even got some takedowns and clinch to get the job done and now he is ready to take on a much harder ranking opponent,  and it was really surprising that right now Salikhov has a better understanding with his kicks it surely becomes deadly and effective for most of his matches,

Maria Oliveira VS Vanessa Demopoulos ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN


It was a great match for Demopoulos and she really knows what her opponent is planning and that is by getting the knockout but she really stayed on plan and wait for the perfect opportunity to strike back and to get even the takedowns, it was a massive success for Vanessa Demopoulos, and I surely don't notice the time and just enjoy the fight to have taken molded by her,

Probably one of the more disappointing fight nights in recent memory. Obviously, with the main event getting cancelled, but also some of the fights were rather disappointing. I know it happens from time to time, I'm just grateful I didn't need to stay up late. I think it was done by 11pm or somewhere around there. I remember staying up for the Poirer vs Conor fight, and obviously he snapped his leg, and I was absolutely gutted, and tired which made it worse. At least this time I had a good night sleep.

I think I've got to start recording the fights, and like watch them on Sunday morning when they aren't the bigger events. Probably better for my health . Anyway, I'm gutted about Fialho, I was actually routed for him after round one. He's just so one dimensional I think he'll struggle against most of the more technical fighters. He needs to change up his game, and develop it further if he wants to progress any further. At the moment, He's just known for his hard hitting, but people won't remember his name if he continues to just search for that head.

Fialho started very well and definitely won the first round. He made a stinging hit to his left eye. Salikhov's spinning kicks gradually reduced the energy of the fialhon. Salikhov officially ground the fialho in the 2nd Round. He finished the fialho with ease in the 3rd round. His last kicks were all clear. His performance definitely improved after he moved to the American top team.


Cortes Acosta found very clear hits throughout the match Sherman could not respond to these hits much. Against those hits, he stood firm. Sherman was pretty tired from the head shots. Cortes threw so many punches at the end of his Roud 2 that it exhausted him too much to tko. Acos became 9-0 with this win.

I found out when I started watching the card that the main game had changed. Lewis was sick so he was replaced by Nzechukwu - Cutelaba as the main board. His knees in 2 rounds were very effective. He used his physical advantage super.

Anyway, like everyone else, I was disappointed to see that the Lewis game was cancelled. Lewis matches have always been fun for me, and learning this while watching this card killed me.

I surely seen Fialho never having a grip on the belt because of his style, this is what I think about  if he doesn't want to counter that fight with Andre Fialho as I have predicted Muslim Salikhov is more technical than him and those spinning kicks was really something and for me great to watch and surely Salikhov will never going to get his nickname as king of Kungfu for nothing,

I couldn't watch Adesanya vs Pereira over again. Feels like I lose more than the money I bet every time I watch it.
TPB is where I go if I missed the event. But those were the times when I fancy Arianny Celeste. Now that I find no desirable girls anymore I just watch youtube uploads. They are not always the full fight but still keep me updated on what happened.

Bisping couldn't hide his disappointment when they announce at the last minute that Dirreck and Spivakfight is canceled. I think this is the only match to watch. In the past, people would be throwing water bottles when they hear such news.

See, this is my expert betting advice now, if you are ever in doubt, jump on the game, and get the AI to play both fighters, which effectively simulates the fight for you .

You just lose that excitement factor of betting on live events, and watching them. Unless, you don't check your bets or the news before watching the fights? Although, it's always nice to look at your betting slip, and see a few ticks, and it not being complete yet as that does get the excitement levels up.

I might consider it for nights like last night for example or events that I haven't bet on. No way will I be doing it for the bigger events.

They really think that Cutelaba would win this on the 1st round because Cutelaba on the 1st round has a great takedown, but when Cutelaba was seen getting ready for the takedown again and so Nzechukwu send him a flying knee directly to his face that stumble Cutelaba then Kennedy chase Cutelaba with barage of punches that makes Nzechukwu win the fight,

At 1st Fialho really is exchanging and trading punches to Salikhov but when time progress to spinning kicks and an arsenal of kicks for Salikhov was proven deadly, well Salikhov on the latest round was now controlling and dominating the rounds with kicks and takedowns,

Very disappointed to see the previous UFC fight night main event got cancelled, however the next UFC event is also fight night and it will happen on December 4 or next 2 weeks. I think the next main event would be more interesting since Thompson vs Holland is 50/50, much harder to predict. The other match is also interesting to watch: Barberena vs Dos Anjos, Nicolau vs Schnell and Tuivasa vs Pavlovich.

Did anyone find the information what has really happened to Derrick Lewis ? The fighters runs a camp, makes weight, goes to staredowns, shake hands, smiles, and boom, suddenly get ill. Hard to believe. Because usually after all the pre-fight procedures, fighters dont to wild or freak out. Most of them spend time in lobby or in their rooms, preparing mentally for the fight. I suppose Derrick ate something and got poisoned. The docs could have helped him to clean his stomach, but that totally made him ran out of strengths.

I didn't realize that there is a UFC game and it was on X-Box and PS4, but you surely have given me an idea on this you can surely put the AI fight at one another, then make a bet on it with your friends, but surely it would limit the games AI in just throwing random strikes and maybe there will be no technical AI in here I was just speculating if there isn't but we will try it once I have downloaded the game,

It is really frustrating to simply have the main event scrapped like that and just like you have said it really happens Derrick Lewis has an illness and knowing him I think he wants to continue on with the fight but surely his corner hasn't approved it and notice something so they have to make a decision to not be going with the event and instead go to the hospital for Lewis to be treated, yes it was a bummer having the Main-Event Scrapped like that but this is for the fighter's health aswell and I surely don't blame them in doing something like this, but they should have seen it sooner for fans to not be frustrated like this,

Anyway, that's a decent event for just Fight Night.  Make the main event a championship event and it could pass for a PPV event imho...  At first glance, it's a parlayable event with the favorites looking like their opponents won't give them any surprises.  Except maybe for a couple or so of them.  Brunson could surprise Hermansson, so will Schnell and Michael Johnson.  And prolly even Guida..?  :/

And the books have Thompson vs Holland as a coin flip.  I think Thompson is washed and Holland might look like more than a 1.50 favorite.

They didn't put any information about whatever happened to him. Food-related, stomach cramps, or maybe the water.

Instead, cageside announcer Brendan Fitzgerald interrupted the prelims to announce that the main event was canceled due to a "non-COVID, non-weight cutting illness on the Derrick Lewis side." After Saturday's card ended, UFC chief doctor Jeff Davidson told Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole that Lewis had went to the ER with "stomach issues," but was later cleared

"Was later cleared?" So poisoning is out.
It was not that bad if he didn't take time in the hospital. It's hard to guess what had happened to him and no one seems to leak out detailed information about what he felt that night.
I only have two guesses and it's a very low percentage to happen in a fighter. The feeling of being either too excited or too scared. Butterflies in your stomach start to build up at that moment.

Connor McGregor calling out Khabib over Khabib taking shots at him was something I didn’t really expect, but Connor wants to make it seem like Khabib retired to not have to fight him again. I’d personally love to see them run it back again, but I’d rather see McGregor fight a striker than a grappler. I want to see another one of those knockout punches not more tapping. I really hope we get to see McGregor in the octagon again in the next 8 months.
