I'm missing the next few events unfortunately due to travelling. I'm going to miss my UFC weekends, but I will get my predictions up early this week for the next event.
You are not going to miss that much for this weekend with Grasso vs Araujo but I think UFC 280 Oliveira vs Makhachev will be much more interesting in next weekend.
Just make sure to be home or watch on the roads Adesanya vs Pereira on November 12, you really don't want to miss that one.
Try following news in forum and we are going to post links and highlights as usual.

On October 10, 2022, it was announced that Oleinik was released from UFC after completing his contract

Bye-bye The Boa Constrictor. It was always fun to watch your fights. I think Aleksei Oleinik is going to completely retire from MMA and focus on teaching his techniques to others. The guy is 45, 8 years in UFC, 78 professional fights and has been fighting since 1996.
Maybe age is a factor he was playing bad only 1 win in the last 5 fights. after UFC didn't extend his contract, can he fight with another event?, because He was a legend, His name might still sell well on television. And, I still confusing about his citizenship, he was born in Ukraine but bring a Rusian Flag.

It will turn this thread into politics so do not mind that citizenship lol It's enough for a martial artist to really stop with having 78 pro fights. We don't see that anymore these days, they'd be moving to boxing or kickboxing if they see no possibility of a belt fight for them.

Grasso vs Araujo I see this fight is just a filler for the upcoming fights. But I think Araujo is a more dominant fighter between them.

A few days ago I scrolled through a post about Hasbulla and Khabib Nurmagomedov being part of Islam Makhachev's corner. I thought it was just a joke so I just ignored it. Today I have the time to search for it. Makhachev's manager Ali Abdelaziz confirmed it as per reports from different media outlets. Although I still think it's a joke knowing Ali Abdelaziz knows how to hype and talk trash. But if they are serious, Hasbulla might steal the show between rounds and people will be chanting for him. Cheesy

This is pretty much obvious when he lost to Ilir Latifi I indeed have said that he needs to retire, and then after his release to the UFC, maybe he will announce his retirement, but again there are many retired MMA fighters in their 40's that are still getting on with fighting outside the UFC, so there is still a chance that Oleinik might be back to another Combat fighting management like Yoel Romero, and Thiago Santos, but let's just wait and see,

I really think that O’Malley is overrated. Yes, he is finding success in his career. But I think he is being given a lot more credit than he actually deserves. He has had 16 fights in his career and never lost. That is a remarkable career so far. But I think he still has a lot to prove in the future. Obviously, he is not meant to be scared of Yan. But that does not mean that he will not get beaten by Petr Yan. By not saying that this is going to be the first L for O’Malley. Even though I really do not like him, I have to agree that he is a really capable fighter.

I am not interested in hearing what Tyron Woodley says about Khabib Nurmagomedov. Woodley was nowhere near the greatness of Khabib. So, I think he should keep his opinion to himself. Like TopTort777 said, I am not willing to listen to someone who lost against Jake Paul (a YouTuber).

Well, O'Malley, the pink poodle is full of himself, and surely he has full of air inside his head, that he actually never admitted defeats that is why his numskull fans believe in him that Marvin "Chito" Vera never defeated him because that was an injury, he never admits poking Pedro Munhoz who really did, well I really wish Petr Yan really gets him good so he never has any reason's at all, for me I also think Petr Yan can win this if he's going to be serious about O'Malley then he can surely win,

Well Tyron Woodley should be ignored by Khabib he is not really worthy to be called out anyway, and it is a waste of time listening to him aswell, so what is the point,

He was born in Soviet Union, in Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, and he fights under Russian flag because he has naturalised. Currently he lives in Florida, US and it will be no wonder he will get American nationality, as he lives there for 5 or 6 years already. Like Andrei Arlovski. He has two nationalities also. Btw, he is just slightly younger than Oleinik, has lots of fights in his career and will face Marcos Rogério de Lima on UFC FN 213 October 29 Smiley

Yeah Araujo is a good underdog pick if she shows up in that kind of shape and if she could maintain that pace for 5 rounds.  And I'm not sure how Grasso is with the take down defense these says against a fighter like Araujo.  I remember she got rag dolled by Felice Herrig back in the day.  She was a huge favorite in that match up too.
Honestly, after reading your reply was the only time I found out Grasso was the favorite in this fight. I didn't check yesterday.
Anyway, my bet is locked already for Araujo as I think she really has a higher chance to win this if she can wrestle her way until the final round.
Avoiding a counter that will end in a submission might be their strategy but as much as possible take Grasso's back to the mat or just box her until exhausted.

He surely outdid himself alright, saying that Khabib Nurmagomedov did not fight any good grapplers or grapplers with good hands maybe he wants to challenge Khabib to fight Jake Paul aswell, but I don't really think that Khabib will be too kind to take that bait,
Well, Tyron Woodley is not really viable right now many really think he is out of his mind for saying such things, and the balls to really compare Nurmagomedov to a steroid-using fighter, for me Khabib should accept to fight Woodley in an exhibition match on MMA rules so he can see first hand what he is talking about,

I think current Khabib would kick prime Woodley ass, even if they just have a wrestling fight. That would be even easier to do. And like kro55 said, Woodley feel ashamed for loosing to YouTuber, that is why he did not put himself in that top10 list Cheesy
How can a person even create a top10 list, when there are there are 8 weight classes and thousands of fighters. It is understandable to create a top10 list of active fighters (like pound-for-pound list). But to compare a fighter that has retired 2 years ago with a fighter that has retired 12 years ago? Fighting styles evolve, each generation fighters are difference. How to compare Mark Coleman and Ngannou? Second would destroy first in first round.
I agreed MMA is continuously changing and comparing the style of Khabib Nurmagomedov to the style of Sean Sherk is really down right Absurd, it is possible that his brain got damaged for not beating the problem child 2 times, and got knocked out even his brain cells got knockout aswell, for getting up something like this, or maybe he is trying to pull down the greatness of Khabib Nurmagomedov in trying to fight Jake Paul aswell, I really don't know what he is after, but that short legacy of Khabib will surely remember but not Tyron Woodley,

Agreed with @TopTort777 because even though Khabib is quite overweight right now as he is not into fighting sports anymore, I think he would still be much better compared to Prime Woodley. Woodley couldn't live up to expectations. And I assume he is just saying these types of things just to at least stay in the spotlight.

Making a list of the top 10 fighters in the UFC is almost impossible. If the least is presented like, “top ten UFC fighters in each weight class”, I think it would make more sense.

@YuginKadoya , Khabib fighting Jake Paul is not going to happen in a million years. It doesn't matter how much anyone tries to do that. If any fight with Khabib can actually happen, I think it is going to be Khabib vs GSP. Dana Actually approached GSP with the proposal of fighting against Khabib after his (Khabib's) retirement. And he approached GSP in a way that GSP thought Khabib had already agreed to this fight. But Khabib was done. So, I really don't know if that fight is going to happen, even though it is going to be the biggest money fight of all time in my opinion.

I just finished watching some Media Day interviews I was interested and it's still live on MMAJunkie youtube channel, so check that out before making any bets.
Few bets I am considering is Jordan Wright vs Dusko Todorovic to finish early and not go to distance, and for main event I agree that Viviane Araujo is great value bet on underdog.

It is very head shaking that our sexy fighting kitten Alexa Grasso is again underestimated against the Brazilian Araujo considering that Alexa is the favorite. Does everyone not see that Araujo's head is hit very easily and the pretty Alexa's grappling has improved? This fight will be won by who can throw more punches and kicks and this will be Grasso, I reckon. Grasso by decision.

Well, I also doubted that Khabib Nurmagomedov will fight Jake Paul aswell, and I think the level of competition is not set for Khabib to be agreeing in a boxing match either, because he doesn't really need to do it, in my opinion, he doesn't need to prove something like Tyron Woodley did, and getting lambasted by Jake Paul will surely be in the history books, and Khabib has settled down and doesn't really want to fight anymore, there is no need for him

Oh! Lala! Alexa Grasso is one hot fighting kitty and this 1 photo that I like is enough to make me come home to her, but yeah that will be in my dreams only, well this goes to show how she landed to be the face of Stake.com as an ambassador alongside Israel Adesanya, and Marlon "Chito" Vera, those champs and shift kicks is the reason why she is great but right now her wrestling is really improving as well and she has a purple belt for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu so there is no doubt she can choose her way to end the fight,

Grasso is the favorite. She is not being underestimated.
If you look at the Sportsbet multi-master challenge, the Grasso pick is winning more than Araujo.
For me though, I just like betting for the underdog and it's a matter of choice for anyone who thinks Araujo is the better fighter.
I think this fight will end with a decision because both fighters can recover fast and with stamina wise, they might be equal too.

I'm missing the next few events unfortunately due to travelling. I'm going to miss my UFC weekends, but I will get my predictions up early this week for the next event. Obviously, any cancellations I'm probably not going to amend. If I do make any predictions in the next few weeks (situation depending) I won't be reviewing any footage, so it'll be done from memory rather than statistics or anything like that. So, I could potentially be right off for the next three weeks.

Looks like I'm missing a few good events too, and obviously the boxing with Anderson, and Jake which to be honest I was quite looking forward too. Anyway, as for the Khabib, Woodley debate I don't think there's much debate in it. Wrestling wise Khabib probably takes it quite easily. Remember, Khabib was a champion in Sambo before he came into the limelight, and a bloody good one one at that. So, while he may have had a relatively short UFC career, he's probably got one of the longer careers out of most fighters. I mean, we've all seen the bear video.

^ I still don't understand why a lot of people say that Khabib is not as good as everyone thinks he is. Those who actually know about fighting, I will say that he was the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Some people still say that Khabib vs Connor 2 needed to happen. But as Dana White said, there is no need for that. Because the fight was quite convincing the first time. And I don't understand how people say that Khabib is overrated. At the age when he was fighting against Bears, Connor was playing with Teddy Bears.

The main attraction of UFC 280 is obviously going to be Islam vs Oliveira. But I am quite interested in seeing Sterling vs Dillashaw as well. If I have to predict I am going to say that the winners of the main card of UFC 280 are going to be
Islam Makhachev
Sterling
O'Malley

A little confused about Dariush vs Gamrot. But I am going to keep Gamrot ahead.
Katlyn vs Manon, I am undecided about this. Chookagian is a good fighter but Manon is also not someone who can be underestimated.

About Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva, I think  Anderson Silva is really old. And Jake Paul is someone who is beating the fighters that he really shouldn't be beating. Obviously, I am going to say Anderson Silva but I cannot. I have to agree with the fact that Jake Paul is good.

^  Khabib vs McGregor rematch needs to happen for one reason and one reason alone:  To generate as much cash and profit as much as possible.  Other than that, the fight would mean nothing.  We already know who wins in a rematch.  Khabib...  I mean just look at the contrast between those guys.  McGregor loves partying, drinking, snorting coke and hanging out with the celebs.  Khabib on the other hand only does training and worshipping Allah.  Train, then worship Allah, train then worship Allah...  Train, Allah, train, Allah.  Who does everybody think is the winner in that scenario?  Most def Khabib!

Now I feel responsible if the match ends in a loss.  Cheesy  Keep in mind, I'm no pro, I'm just like you and I mostly bet small in these events for fun.

Oliveira is not generally seen as a favorite in matches. But so far he has finished everyone in this weight class. He faced and finished with almost everyone like Dustin, Gaethje and Tony Ferguson. I think Oliveira will win this match, even if it is difficult. We are going to watch a very intense fight both on the ground and standing, I am very impatient for this. We agree that Sterling will keep his belt.

By the way, why does it seem impossible to me that Malley wins? I love his style too. He's a really good striker. He's very good distance. Malley really lives the game makes the audience feel this in every combination he makes. But Yan is really a man of steel. The low kicks he will hit him will hurt Malley very much and will reduce his performance. I'm not giving Malley many chances.

I don't think Khabib will ever come back. He made a promise to his mother, upon the death of his father. That's not something you can go back on. Only if his mother insisted, which the impression I've got from her, that ain't going to happen.

I've got Charles for that fight. I'm just not convinced with Makhachev, and it does seem like Charles always gets underestimated. Although, I do think it'll be a entertaining fight. I also think the Grasso vs Araujo fight will be fun.

I'll be back for the Izzy fight thankfully. I'd be absolutely gutted if I missed that. I'm actually quite nervous about that fight. I'm just hoping it lives up to its hype, and I'm not too disappointed come the end of the fight. Hopefully, the added fuel causes Izzy to take some risks, and actually look for the knockout himself.

He won't come back in pro mma fighting, but I wouldn't say he won't come back in some exhibition event for charity or some good cause like that.
Many fighters did the same thing like Mike Tyson, and others are doing it for the money, and maybe we could see him in WWE Smiley

If you ask me there is zero chance Makhachev will lose against Oliveira, because Khabib is his coash and supporter.
Aside from that, I think he is a better fighter and Khabib recently said that he is certain Mkhachev will win it easy, and I trust Khabib Wink

Yeah Charles get underestimated since on the bookies he's an underdog while based on the rankings, he's currently the top 1 on lightweight division. Charles has fought many fighters before and he already suffering many losses in the past, until he become like a beast right now. IMO Makhachev haven't fought any best fighters and this is his biggest match, he need to prove if he's a great fighter and not cherry picked.

Izzy fight would be exciting since he will fight against the one who have beat him twice on kickboxing event.

Here is my pick for the fights for the UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Araujo

Alexa Grasso VS Viviane Araujo

Stake odds for this fight are 1.48 for Grasso while 2.60 for Araujo, for this fight I am for the beautiful Alexa Grasso through and through Surely Araujo has a high possibility to do the fight on the ground but good takedown defense is what Grasso is all about, and she can now play it safe that is why her fight was finishing on a decision win, but for me Alexa Grasso truly is will win this, so my pick is Alexa Grasso,

Jonathan Martinez VS Cub Swanson

Stake odds for this fight are 1.49 for Martinez and 2.55 for Swanson, I have never seen after that Darren Elkins fight in 2021, and I don't really like his fight with Giga Chikadze he lost to Chikadze While Martinez has a consecutive win of 3 for me a safe bet will be Jonathan Martinez I really think that Martinez would win this we got to see their age and Cub Swanson looks old, on his age, so for me, Jonathan Martinez is my pick,

Askar Askarov VS Brandon Royval

The stake odds for this fight are 1.42 for Askarov and 2.85 for Royal, Askar has only 1 lost and it was from Kai Kara-France for me Askar can win this with his ground game, and with his stand-up, a decent  one aswell but both men are pretty much well-verse with the ground game, for me Askar Askarov will have an edge with his type of wrestling like Khabib it will be a chain of multiple Submission for me Askar Askarov will win this,

I should be posting it here just an update on my Recent post because I thought that the fight will be last week but again I didn't seen the image that UFC was on hiatus last week, but here is it and I am not changing any of my picks for this event,

No, I think I chose the wrong words when I said that.  Cheesy
I mean, honestly, I didn't know that she (Araujo) was the underdog although my bet was already locked for her. I can say I am lucky because I don't have to doubt the bet. If she is the favorite which means lesser profits then I would have to go thru thinking twice before taking it and I don't like being in that position.

I will be following the bet for Martinez and Askarov's fight but not the Grasso vs Araujo.
I think all my picks are for the favorites except for the main card.
