Erin got it done! That's one hell of a statement to make, and I actually think he has a chance against Val, since she hasn't been looking her best in her recent outings, and Erin is a serious threat on the ground. I think she's proven that now, against Molly I can see why people were doubting her, but she made a real statement last night against a top three opponent.

I think Dana is going to be pissed off and might give him 1 more chance but if he performs like that again I can see him getting cut. A shame because he has 1 of the best physiques in the ufc.

Quite possibly, he's looked absolutely awful in most of his outings. Aside, from his knockout power he doesn't really have a lot going for him. He definitely doesn't have very technical skills. Although, he's a great fighter to bet against since he is so one dimensional, yet he's still got that knock out power that inflates his chances of winning, and therefore he's usually the favourite or close in odds to his opponent.

Damn, when I see your pics I was about to make a parlay with them, but then I get busy with some stuff and didn't place the bet... If I'm not wrong the multiplier with a parlay would be something close to x4. Too bad, better luck the next time. And by te way, nice pics.

Now let's way for the next event, I know there will be a UFC night the next weekend, but I want to see UFC 285 the next month. That one will be an awesome event, is great to have Jones back.

Nice win for Blanchfield in main event against Andrade but I don't think she is ready for title fight with Valentina Shevchenko now, so it's better for her to work and prepare more.
This was not most memorable UFC event, maybe prelims showed more than main card, and I don't understand why UFC is still forcing events in their UFC Apex instead of normal arenas.
Maybe it's not a bad idea to sometimes skip week or two than to create semi boring events in UFCV Apex like this.

Santos might be the most logical next step for her, since that was the original match up. However, I think she's ready for Shevchenko. Her submission skills are some of the best, and I knew that if it got to the ground she'd have a chance. However, she actually did pretty good work on the feet too. Didn't look too fazed by the attacks from Andrade. Shevchenko is a lot more technical, but isn't as ferocious as Andrade so we at least now know Erin can deal with that sort of pressure, and she did it in style.

Considering, her relatively short UFC career, and young age she might actually be in for a long period at the top, a bit like Shevchenko.

For this fight, all have surely seen that Erin Blanchfield could be a potential threat to even the champion Valentina Shevchenko, surely Erin Blanchfield doesn't have the power with her stand up but her fast reflex are giving Andrade a hard time but when it comes to the ground she is really in a different caliber, and Erin Blanchfield has studies Valentina Shevchenko and her fight with Jessica Andrade because Erin Blanchfield have used the same method as Valentina Shevchenko hers was just precise and have the control over Jessica Andrade, that is why Blanchfield was so confident in her interview that she will be ranked 3 when she defeats Jessica Andrade,


Zac Pauga VS Jordan Wright ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Zac Pauga has gone the distance, I have watched the movement of Jordan Wright in his recent fights and it was very sloppy while Zac Pauga has the rhythm you will surely know who's more technical than Wright that is why I bet for Zac Pauga, and in the interview, he can surely control people is boxing was precise and dominant even though it was not a TKO because Jordan Wright is super durable but still because of that precise striking Zac Pauga is the winner,

Josh Parisian VS Jamal Pogues ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Jamal Pogues broke his right arm with standing in the 2nd round but the fight still continues, surely you can see from Pogue's rhythm that he is a thinking fighter when his hand broke from standing he has to control the fight with his wrestling prowess, and have gas out Josh Parisian in doing so, the fight have to keep on going on Jamal Pogues way it was really an amazing game plan and the man many now in the heavyweight class has now incorporating technicality in their game and I think Jamal Pogues can also take on Derrick Lewis for sure,

I was just looking at the experience that Andrade has more than Erin's.  It didn't matter in the fight since Erin had landed more significant strikes and choked Andrade in the end. Blanchfield is just new, I think her team will not just feed him to Valentina too early. Valentina is a bigger monster.

I think it's an unexpected win for Erin the fact that she is the underdog yet Submission just made her confident.
I win some and lose some. I got more luck in boxing this weekend.

I'm looking forward to the Jon Jones fight, but I'm a little nervous. I'm not a massive fan of either fighters, but I'm hoping Gane doesn't get the belt, just because I don't find him all that entertaining. Yeah, a real odd one. I believe a very decorated Sambo fighter too. Watching UFC fights is indeed more interesting if you are in the heavyweight class because from a fighter's point of view, the body posture is quite large and muscular when throwing punches and kicks and looks very hard so that anyone who witnesses it can give a special sensation of excitement.
However, for me, I like lightweight fights because the fighters look very agile and have stamina that doesn't get tired easily, so I don't get bored easily when watching those fights.
In betting I also prefer and often bet on lightweight and my mainstay fighter is Islam Makhachev.

Well for me Heavyweight fights right now have transitioned in a more technical manner and surely the fight between Francis Ngannoue and Ciryl Gane has impacted some fighters in shifting from their more aggressive approach to a more technical approach when fighting a technical fighter that is why even though Derrick Lewis switch from Heavyweight to the Light Heavyweight, the result will still be the same and Light Heavyweight has more technical fighter so his aggressive approach will not work anymore,

William Knight was my bet and he did not even try to fight. He stood there getting his leg beat up and was just nodding his head even his coach was angry at him. Does he get cut after this fight because at the least you expect fighters to fight but he was just a standing target. He tried 2 take downs but his leg was so bad that he could not complete them. I do not think he landed many punches maybe 3/4 the whole fight. I think Dana is going to be pissed off and might give him 1 more chance but if he performs like that again I can see him getting cut. A shame because he has 1 of the best physiques in the ufc.

It was really crazy and he was the culprit in one of the 2 losses I have in the Multi-Master Challenge because of his physique I really thought that he could go out there and cut Marcin Prachnio from the octagon, but it was the other way around and watching it was really a frustration even the whole viewers and even his coach was pretty much furious about him, but after seeing his interview he really admits what he did he just froze back then and many surely have the right to be mad at him for not doing anything, but I think anyone can do the same mistakes and he admits and sorry about that,

Thanks, it was really lucky, and looking at the 2 woman fighters I surely saw instantly that Erin Burchfield is a better wrestler and grappler than Andrade so I went there and say that this is going to be tough for her because of Jessica Andrade's physique, but after seeing the fight she dominated even the stand-up, I was really surprised a 23-year-old girl is overcoming the obstacle but I really wish this fight won't go in her head and think that she can do anything from now on because the cautious approach is the most effective and safest approach fighting inside the octagon,

For me, Blanchfield is ready for Valentina Shevchenko but she needed more time I think 2 more fights and she is ready to face the champion if you look at Andrade and Shevchenko's fight it was like what Blanchfield have done to Jessica Andrade but she didn't struggle with choking Andrade but Shevchenko really did struggle, for me Blanchfield has a better IQ when it comes to wrestling that fights with McCann is really unbelievable dominating the fight like Molly was just a kid, it was pretty awesome to watch and Molly McCann really deserves it,

Yup and I'm fking surprised that she did really well in using her reach and outstriking Andade.  I thought Andrade could use her powerrr and get some respect then corner Blachfield by the cage where Andrade could Taz her way to a W.  Looks like the UFC match makers knew what they were doing when they made Blanchfield skip the line and gave her Santos then Andrade when it didn't pan out with Santos.

Blanchfield had a great fight against Andrade. I cannot see how people are getting surprised. Blanchfield has better technique compared to Andrade. On the other hand, Jessica does not have good technique. All she has is just her strength. She went into this fight and just was swinging like a madman. Without her strength, I believe she does not have much to offer. Against a good fighter, just like in this fight, she is not going to be able to perform well. Even when she was getting choked, she was not being able to defend that at all.

When this two guys fight again in rematch I think odds will be very much different and Volkanovski will have bigger chance to win in my oppinion.
One thing I don't like with UFC is their shit rating, they still have Volkanovski to be best p4p fighter above Islam, that is totally stupid what they are doing.

I have checked some ranking websites too and I can see why @Synchronice is saying Volkanovski is still the best pound 4 pound. Thanks to the rankings that were done by those outlets.
That could also be another strategy to survey if they will force a rematch or should I say if they will make more money by creating the rematch. 
I know it will happen, there will be bags of money that will be on the line so Dana White's eyes are in dollar mode once again.

I always knew that my girl will surely do it, seeing the JJ Aldrich, and Molly McCann fight, and after seeing those fights I knew that this is going to be an easy fight for Erin Blanchfield, because of the absurd control of Blanfield with positioning herself through her other fights a fast Kimura lock on McCann and the giving up of Aldrich back I surely know that Andrade can also give up her back faster than Aldrich, just like with Shevchenko fight Andrade have given her back but Shevchenko is not fast enough to get that Guillotine, so this is a clear win for Erin Blanchfield and even though Jessica Andrade wants a rematch I would still go with Blanchfield,

Basically, you are saying that the person who does more damage wins the fight. That is also incorrect. One elbow cut and you are a winner. If the damage dealt would be the meter to tell who is the winner, then everyone would only throw elbows and that is it.

As a challenger, Volkanovski must have done 200% of him to win that fight. That is how I see it. Did he do that? No. You have to perform persuasively to make vision for judges that you are the winner. In situation when champ and challenger shows equal skills, champ always remains champ.
