Initially I planned to back Real tonight, but then I changed my mind because Chelsea under Tuchel looks good. I still haven't decided on my bets for tonight.
Real not to lose would be safe bet IMO, but I haven't saw odds for it yet.
Real haven't conceded goal in their last 4 games, but only managed to score 3 against Cadiz from all these games.
While Chelsea haven't scored more than 1 goal in 4 recent games. I think we can expect low scoring game and under 2.5 is good choice IMO. Though, haven't saw odds for it yet.

Chelsea have only scored 2 goals in their last 4 games. Real Madrid have scored 3 goals in their last 4 games... but that was a 3-0 win, the other 3 matches were all 0-0.

Perhaps we might see a 0-0 result in this match? Teams will be reluctant to concede an away goal in the first leg, and may play defensively.

The truth about champions league tie is this, when it involves champions league football, league form is irrelevant because this is a different competition; Madrid and Chelsea has good games and the former has never struggled for domination especially in champions league ties; will tuchel set up to choke Real Madrid midfield line? or play 5 atb as always ?

I feel that Real Madrid will attack right from the start and will steal an early goal, and that shall force Chelsea player’s to find an equaliser, and hence at half time we may see the scores at 1 - 1. After the match resumes I feel that both sides will play with caution, and at the end Real Madrid will score the decisive goal and win the game, this is just my humble opinion.

I used to think so too.However Chelsea recently is in a good form having not conceded one single goal in the last two games in the Premier League.It will be difficult for Chelsea as Real when plays at home plays really well and their attack has been shining lately.Chelsea here as the objective will have only to score one or two goals even if they lose the game and let everything to be solved in the return leg.

Madrid can play more better without Sergio Ramos, lookiiat the previous matches played by the Los Blancos, there had been a consistent winnings without him that's why it's be a good idea to have a good replacement, although Ramos is recorded to be the best center back in Europe football, but that's not the issue, it seems real depends on him, however, the teams and directors should find out the replacement for Ramos incase of long term.

I think the statistics in this match dont mean much.I think it will be a rough game.Real Madrid have experience in UCL winning important matches.But they are a little nocked down after the draw against Betis so this can go either way

Ramos, Valverde, L. Vasquez and F. Mendy won't be able to play at Real Madrid. Only Kovacic is absent at Chelsea. I wonder how much good Hazard will play in this game. After a long time, he has bounced back and played for 14 minutes in the last league game. We don't know for now whether Zidane will prefer him in the starting lineup. But I'd like to see him playing against his old team really much.

Chelsea have a defensive type of game and if they want to win this game they need to be more offensive as a way to defend themselves otherwise Real Madrid should win because they are a better team upfront and their defensive side and with the experience they have in these competitions, this must be one of those games they will win.
 Btw I have Real Madrid to win the competition so don't mind me being bias towards other teams.

Reporting from the official UEFA website, Real Madrid has not met Chelsea in 23 years. Previously, from the last three meetings of the two teams in the elite blue continent competition, The Blue had always won.

I really support Real Madrid but with Sergio Ramos being injured, the defense will be a bit shaky. I'm hesitant to see an absolute win against Real Madrid tonight. But I will still support Real Madrid because I idolize him. If the coach thinks he will play Sergio Ramos it will be better later even if it is not full time.

Or it will be a very boring draw as Chelsea might think they have a great chance to win or score at the 2nd leg,,, you just never know how it is with Tuchel and how he might set things up. Slow the game in the first leg and then play with fast wingers and overwhelm Real Madrid when they least expect it. Very interesting to look at:)

My guess is that a draw is possible. I wouldn't bet on a 0 - 0, but a 1 - 1 seems not to be unrealistic. Real Madrid played only 0 - 0 in the league, but sure they are always able to perform very well. Chelsea is the surprise candidate. That can make them a dangerous opponent.

Chelsea won't go for the win under any circumstance. Their defense is stable and they are relatively strong at counter attacks right now. I say it will be a very close call regardless of the outcome.

Maybe Madrid will win but I hesitate to bet on it, because I am more confident about both teams to score and also over 1.5 @1.4x. Indeed, those are not good odds for the bet but if I put in the higher bet money I think that would be good too, but for both teams to score it is a pretty good odds as it will get the odds at 2.xx. I don't pay attention to the previous matches of the two teams, because that can no longer be a benchmark for predicting the match at UCL at this moment.
