I think against City it will make a difference for PSG compared to the first game. PSG players will concentrate more on winning this match. PSG's failure in the first match, could be because the players underestimated their opponents. Of course it will be different when dealing with big teams, players will be more excited to compete and focus to win from the start. but if they are lose, and Club Brugge win over Leipzig, they are still can be strong candidate for qualified club to the next phase.

The reason why City cares about UCL so much is that they have managed to win premier league multiple times under Pep Guardiola but never won UCL during that same period. Which means that the only cup they are missing right now is UCL and if they can get that as well then the journey will be completed (not that he needs to leave, but he got what he wanted so he wouldn't have high goals).

I would assume that Kane would have been an amazing addition for UCL, without him they could still win Premier League, they won it without him so many times now, however with him they would have been great at UCL, that is why they were willing to spend 100+ million on a single player, just for UCL.

You made it sound like Man City are too desperate to win the UCL but I agree for the most part since teams would prefer to have more talents at their disposal to compete in all leagues. They wasted their chance in the Finals last season and they also had the better looking team than Chelsea that time to win both cups.

We have a great game next week which is PSG vs Manchester City.

I see that PSG are struggling to get wins lately. I know that they have won their first 7 games in the Ligue 1. But their last results are really interesting. They barely managed to win their last two games against Lyon and Metz for example. They won both of them with last minute goals. This is not very good for a team like PSG. And we know also that they drew with Club Brugge also in the Champions League in their first game. With or without Messi, there is an in-team problem and they need to get rid of it. Otherwise, I don't see their chance being really big against City here. City might not lose this game.

@CLS63 Manchester City are not unstoppable as we saw last week when they drew against Southampton, and it’s clear that both the teams have strong squad but yet they’re equally weak too and thus this makes it an open contest.

It is true that Manchester City are not unstoppable. But I see them being one step ahead of PSG in terms of having a better in-team chemistry. It is of course sad to hear that Messi will not be able to play. But like I said he still isn't ready for this game plan and he is trying to adapt. I assume that PSG will have the Neymar - Icardi - Mbappe trio in this game. Both teams shouldn't have big problems on scoring. But at the end, PSG might not be able to win this game.

I wonder whether Sporting will be able to resist against Dortmund in some way. As you can remember, they were erased by Ajax with a 5-1 result. And it was even a home match for Sporting. I was expecting Lukaku to perform some magic at the start of their game against M.City, but I was disappointed, but despite the fact that M.City achieved victory and claiming England champions, they had numerous chances to score but failed to net the ball.
The table can still swing in Chelsea's favor, as the gap between Manchester City and Chelsea is too little. I'll be thrilled if things go Chelsea's way.

The directors has held a meeting after the first loss, I hope they don't make a substitute to Ronald Koeman, it will be a tearing time for Barcelona, It's too early to point out big moves through.

The French can easily beat Manchester City as they beat Bayern Munich before (without Messi), and honestly speaking, he would not hurt a respite given his disregard for the coach, (by a respite I mean a forced bench). In addition, this week will be really tense for City, because Guardiola fielded the entire main squad against Chelsea and their next game will be with Liverpool, which makes me think that City will have to sacrifice something. So in terms of money, Guardiola will definitely prefer the Premier League to the Champions League.

Since Messi is still relatively new to the team and it has not developed the necessary chemistry with the rest of his teammates I think there is the possibility the PSG plays even better without Messi on the field as they can just go back to what they were doing before Messi went there, obviously it is a problem not having someone with the skills and the experience of Messi on the field, but during these particular circumstances there is the possibility this could increase slightly their chances of winning.

In three days, Milan are going to be having a home match against Atletico Madrid. Zlatan has an achilles tendon injury and his return date is not known. But Milan are doing just fine without him too. It seems to me that Mbappe is a conflict-free player and the main reason for his transition is that he has already "outgrown" PSG, he needs to move into a serious championship and a great club in order to leave a milestone in history about himself. As for Neymar and Messi, then probably the tension between them will not be so acute because, unlike the situation with the transition to Barcelona, he has already proved everything to everyone and he is unlikely to feel in the shadow of Messi, rather the opposite.

Juventus - Chelsea is one of the nice games of the week seemingly. In my opinion, Chelsea are the favourite team in this game. Juventus have been struggling in general recently. They can barely win against even the weakest teams of the Serie A. And I don't think that there will be too much changing in this tough game against Chelsea. Maybe Chelsea lost to Manchester City by 1-0 last but I don't expect them to lose their game discipline here. They will be very eager to defeat Juventus even if they are going to play away. Therefore, I'm expecting Chelsea to win this game by at least one goal.

Chelsea and Manchester United both lost in the EPL. They lost 1-0. I don't think they have lost for the UCL game. They play with the best players. Indeed Chelsea against Man City and Manchester United against Aston Villa which I actually think they can win.
Maybe I will still choose Chelsea and Manchester United to win. The hashtag #oleout has also gone viral on Twitter. I think the game will be decisive for Ole.
