Lionel Messi is starting to find himself at PSG.  He scored 2 goals against Club Brugge in the champions league match played tonight.

Actually, he has doing well in the Champion's League as compared to Ligue 1. If I recall very well, he now has 5 goals in the UCL vs 1 goal in Ligue 1

There is not much time left for the last matches of some groups to end. And as far as I can see now, Milan are 2-1 behind home vs Liverpool and Porto are being defeated by Atletico Madrid by 0-1 home. If these matches end by these scores, then Atletico Madrid will be the 2nd qualifier for the next stage. Porto will move down to the Europa League and Milan are going to be out of the tournament.

Feeling sad for AC Milan. They should have at least secured the place in the Europa League. The wait for them to return to glory feels like forever.

Even though Atletico Madrid weren't being favored much for advancing to the next stage, they really made it there. They managed to destroy Porto away by 3-1. And Milan's losing to Liverpool by 1-2 in their home game helped Atletico Madrid a lot. They were at the last place but now they are in the next round. Milan should be really disappointed for not even going to the EL. They need more experience here to get accustomed to the tournament again and achieve better things. They weren't able to join this tournament for a long time.

This surprises me very much. Atlético has obvious chances to advance to the next stage - why such a strange odds?

Atletico just scored the second goal and given the fact that Milan is losing to Atlético, it gets into the playoffs from the second place. Someone made easy x4 (it's a pity that it wasn't me, although these obviously erroneous coefficients surprised me a lot).

I'm a bit sad that Milan didn't even qualified to Europa league and finished last. But it's death group and someone had to die. Liverpool won without most of main players. Milan had their chances, like Kessie who failed to score in the end. BTW, quality of pitch in San Siro looks awful.
Porto 1:3 Atletico. Result don't fully reflect game, but I think Atletico deserved to win and go to next round. Griezmann scored on of easiest goals in his career. But I think that red card that Porto got was very cheap and not right.
Didn't watched Real - Inter game. I expected something more from Inter, but Real now in very good shape.
Shakhtar is probably biggest disappointment for me in UCL. Last place in group with just 2 points with good squad and so much money spent in summer. While Sheriff is biggest surprise. Small club from not existing country with 7 points and they will continue in Europa league.
Ajax again had easy life against Sporting. Borussia humiliated Besiktas 5:0 and said goodbye to Champions league on a high note. While IMO Besiktas was completely worst team on tournament this season.

It was like one of their training games for Dortmund to be honest. They dominated the whole game from the start to the end and deserved this huge victory completely. Haaland continued to score here too. He entered the game in the 63rd minute and scored 2 goals. He is just not an ordinary striker. I think that he's already proven that he is one of the bests already now.

Beşiktaş had a really bad group stage.  The fact that they scored only 3 goals shows this.  It reminded me of Euro 2020 Turkey.  It was a very painful experience for them to score so few goals and return without points.  On the other hand, Ajax finished first in the group.  They've won all their matches.  They are doing very well this year.

What a night it was! There were 6 red cards in 8 champions league matches played. The match with the most red cards was the Porto-Atletico Madrid match. Atlético Madrid won the match 3-1. With this result, Atlético Madrid left the group. Porto will continue on its way in the Europa League.

Quite embarrassing for them especially that they aren't playing vs teams that are favourites for the title, obviously Ajax showed a good performance overall and wonder know how far could they go!
Donetsk and Milan departure from europeans leagues is quite sad, they failed to secure even a spot in EL...

Yes, Milan are still unlucky in this match, Milan had a chance to score through Kessi and Ibrahimovic in the last 10 minutes to equalize the score, but they still failed .
