IMO. Juventus will try to qualify for the quarter-finals when they host Villarreal at the Allianz Stadium. The statistics of the two different teams allowed Juventus to qualify for the next round.

Even though they play at Old Trafford, Manchester United who is in a bad shape will find it difficult to face Atletico Madrid. The defeat of Manchester City saw that MU players did not have the fighting spirit, moreover the internal team was unstable, many petitions are asking Rangnick to be sacked immediately from the MU a coach seat. Diego Simeone will take advantage of this opportunity to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Chelsea have a very big chance of qualifying, after winning on Aggregate 2 goals, although the 2nd leg will be played at home to Lille, I think Chelsea have better quality than Lille and they have a chance to win the game again.

Manchester United against Atletico Madrid will be very fierce, both teams have the same 50-50 chance of qualifying.

in other matches, Ajax have the advantage because this Leg 2 will be played at their home, I also think they will be able to win this match.

With City hah, yeah.  That second leg against Lyon a couple of years ago always comes to mind.  Lol.  I think Pep should learn his lesson not to over think what the other team is thinking too much.  Pep leveled himself that night cos in hindsight it would've been better to go for the same strategy as the first leg.  

I didn't watch the City match.  What happened?  Stale performance?  Tends to happen with City.  I see it ended in a draw using a strong squad.  Sometimes the stats doesn't tell what really happened in the match.  Needs an eye test but I'm too lazy to watch football replays these days.

Actually to be honest I think something like this needed to happen with PSG. Otherwise, they wouldn't have realized that they are still playing like shit. Winning their own League does not mean anything at the moment because they are not good enough teams to beat them at their league but when they face competition from the bigger teams and from the teams outside their own club they have nothing to offer. They might be the best squad in the world probably. But in my opinion, if they are considering three goals between just 18 minutes, there are some problems which need to be fixed.

This isn't new, PSG should be used to disappointment by now, the last time I remember everybody thought PSG will win the champions league, then they just bought Neymar and Mbappe for record fee still they got knockout by Real Madrid. Mbappe should leave that club if he wants to win the champion league. You can't expect a retirement club for big players to be serious. From the first half it was evident that real Madrid would get something from the match. Although they weren't finishing the chances they got.

Real Madrid players were more determined and do deserved that win, I was thinking the disappointment would be in the Bayern Munich match and not that of the PSG. The PSG players were just feeling relax, they didn't put any pressure on Real Madrid. It was a boring match for me and had to sleep off then waking up to the scorelines of real Madrid winning.

Do not forget the assist came from Neymar for Mbappe to score, but Mbappe is very good in PSG and PSG have a great team but which unable to even make it to Champions League beyond round of 16, I expected better from Messi, but I do not think he is still getting better from PSG may be because of how French team is, I know Messi to always be good especially in Champions League when he was in Barcelona, expected more from him. We all thought Real Madrid is gone already, but later the match favored the club against PSG.

I think the premier league team dominance in the uefa champion league competition is more like a recent thing and will can argue that they have not been that dominant afterall apart from reaching the last 16, semi finals and probably few finals ; how many times have they won the competition? I agree that Juventus is the favorite here, they play at home, they have very good players, Vlahovic is slowly adjusting to the new team and he is doing well! Both teams have some bad moments, but this is a game after which there are no corrections, they will play well and go further or drop out of the competition!

Honestly, I'm curious about the continuation of Chelsea, both in the EPL and UCL because with Chelsea's current situation, it is very possible for players to no longer have the high motivation as before.
