Atletico Madrid didn't utilize their very chances of scoring against Manchester City from the beginning of the match to the end. Is it a few minutes to the end of the match they want to score and win the match by force? I wasn't impressed with Atletico's performance. They had the chance to win against Manchester City but they lost-guard the opportunity.
Today's Champions League matches didn't interest me like yesterday's matches

In the ATM vs Man City match I won the bet because I chose a draw but in the Liverpool vs Benfica match I lost because I chose Liverpool to win. the final result of this season's UCL is really hard to predict lol.

Atlético played as everyone predicted, but still City's advantage in the first game played its role. By the way, City are big trolls - in the second half they played according to Atlético's strategy and, if I'm not mistaken, they didn't hit a single shot on goal for the entire half, but at the same time they completely defended their own.

That match tonight against Atletico and ManCity pretty much happened exactly the way as many have predicted it including myself. Atletico was way stronger than in the first leg while ManCity played more defensively because of the result in the first leg. In the end ManCity manages to advance into the next round which is also deserved in my opinion because of the first leg but i also think that today it was totally possible for Atletico to score alone in the time between minute 70 and the end of the game they had 3 big opportunities to score but they failed to do so. As a neutral fan i hoped for an extra time but that didn't happen. ManCity was kinda lucky today but still deserves to go through.

Manchester City had to struggle at the Wanda Metropolitano to get a ticket in the semifinals. The Atletico vs Manchester City match was marred by a commotion between the two teams in the final minute of the match which resulted in an Atletico player (Felipe) being sent off. The match went quite well, although Manchester City still dominated possession.  However, no goals were scored throughout this match. Manchester City has the right to go to the next round because in the first leg Manchester City won 1-0 over Atletico Madrid, and will face Real Madrid, who first qualified for the semifinals.

The semifinals were interesting because only the two best leagues and the two best clubs, the English and Spanish leagues advanced to the semifinals.
and whether those who advance to the final are still the two best leagues from the other and the best team or one league from one of them that will win the Champions League, and my prediction looks like the two representatives of the English league will fight over who will be the champion. Manchester City and Liverpool will qualify for the final.

Liverpool is eyeing the league that is why they didn't play a stronger team, their main priority is to close a point gap difference between them and Man City, Liverpool playing the second leg with two goals advantage as well as playing at Anfield is a big advantage and knowing the strength of Benfica won't pose a serious threat to their qualification for the semifinals, though Benfica tried played a 3-3 draw will Anfield with satisfaction, all is now set for a semifinal between Liverpool and Villarreal another formidable opponent who bundled out Juventus and Bayern Munich.

There was no surprise today indeed. Manchester City secured their advantage until the final whistle was blown. But I would have expected to see a different score than 0-0 in fact. It made the game really boring so I didn't watch it fully. Because Liverpool - Benfica game was way better than that. Liverpool ran away and Benfica continued to chase them down. And at the end of the game, there was a 3-3 draw. This result carried Liverpool to the semi finals of course but I really appreciate Benfica's high effort also.

I still can't believe Bayern Munich is already out of the competition this early. Even more unbelievable is that they were kicked out by a smaller team.

...In the other game, ATM 0-0 City... ATM playing 5-4-1 in the first half before making some changes in the the 70th minutes? They are 1 goal behind on aggregate!

They want to make sure they are still within striking distance when they go all out by not conceding another goal early. The changes could be too late but I don't think it's a bad strategy.

It is understood that Simeone doesn't want to receive an early goal so City could literally kill the game but he might try to push more forward while keeping a solid defense.. I preferred to see ATM playing more attack earlier honestly, they risk to lose anyway so why not try to score a goal..
When I see Benfica although losing 3-1 then made it to 3-3, I wonder why ATM didn't try to do the same. Benfica players know they will lose for sure regarding the huge aggregate score difference, yet they played and reduced the gap. Respect!

I think it's natural for Klopp to rotate players and not field all of Liverpool's main players in the second leg. Because the victory in the first leg
with a difference of two goals for Liverpool is considered safe to deliver them to the semifinals. And it is proven that Liverpool can qualify for
the semifinals after the second leg match ended in a draw. If Liverpool play their best squad, it is certain Liverpool will beat Benfica easily
in the second leg. I'm glad my prediction was correct so far, Liverpool finally made it to the semifinals, but I don't agree Liverpool will easily
beat Villarreal in the semifinals. After Villarreal managed to surprisingly get rid of Bayern in the quarter-finals, I began to realize Villarreal is
not a team that is easy to beat. If Liverpool underestimate Villarreal, there is a possibility that they will suffer the same fate as Bayern.

3-3, a lot of goals and a lot of fun on the field. However, Benfica has been behind every time, so those 3 goals are of little use to them. Liverpool are in control of the outcome. That they gave away that 3-1 is careless, but I can also imagine that the concentration is far off if you have won 1-3 away and are already leading 3-1 at home. 2 English teams in the semi-final and 2 Spanish. The best thing would be if we have an England - Spain final. Liverpool meet Villareal. Liverpool will certainly not underestimate Villareal. City are the favorites against Madrid, but Madrid can beat anyone in principle.

When it comes to when it comes to who was to qualify unto the next stage, there is no doubt it will to be the two English side in Manchester City and Liverpool. Although, looking at the outcome of the games, the effort from Benfica I trying to get a ticket off Liverpool is commendable. They understood the risk and tried so hard to mitigate against I but sadly, Liverpool is not there equal and they (Benfica) already made there mistake in the first leg where they were beaten Benfica 1:3 Liverpool. Its so hard to come back from such and so far, Only Real Madrid seems like the only team that could make it happen. Chelsea tried though but, it was useless against the team they were playing with.
Yesterday had the surprise for this round and that is, Bayern Munich's elimination from the UCL. No one saw this coming, not even the Villareal fans, lol.

Bayern's departure from the Champions League really surprised me, to me it was a death machine that was as good as anyone, even a bit more probably... Alright then, based on a match like that a few words can be said about the semi-finals as well. Obviously Liverpool seem to be a candidate to win, but after a Villarreal win I'm starting to have doubts, it's going to be a very tough fight here

In extra time, Chelsea actually wins the match if the forward can shoot the ball right, but as I can see Havertz and Ziyac always miss and I believe if Lukaku is on in the squad, he will finish it with the winning. And, congrats to Madrid I can't believe they created a balanced goal in minute 80. Before, Chelsea is very confident about the semi-final, but Rodrygo makes public reverse again to Madrid, nothing to doubt, Madrid deserved it.

There are two English and two Spanish clubs in this round which is not surprising at all. Actually there is a surprising thing which is Villarreal's being one of the Spanish clubs. I was expecting Athletico to make strong attempt to bounce back seeing the few chances the missed. Mancity still made attempts to top up the aggregate lead but all proved abortive. so far we have two big english club team, two spanish club teams  all set and ready for the semi-finals. I was disappointed also by watching the match between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid. It is normal that Atletico Madrid will try to score a goal because it is important to come back in the game. But as a strong team, Manchester City didn't play well.

Completely disgraceful scenes in the closing stages of the City v Athletico game, it didn't even end on the pitch of play as there was as well a massive brawl in the tunnel, i am utterly disappointed in the Athletico team, that is no way to host an opposition team, City players were targeted from the beginning of the match right to the end, simeone and his team employed an unorthodox pattern in all respects and i am so happy that the better football team, which is City, qualified.

I am pretty sure they would be lots of investigations on what happened in this game, and i would not be surprised to see a few bans being dished out to some players and staff. For the semi-finals it's a bit difficult to predict at this level the quality of the team and the players are on the same level
The difference is mental and experience of all the participants in the semi-finals of Real Madrid who have more experience
No wonder Real Madrid must be the favorite here but that's not a guarantee

I have already placed my bets today and just like I said earlier even though Manchester city is given small odds I will still go for it at a full time winning for the club because no matter how strong Atletico Madrid's defense is they can not withstand Manchester City pressure for 90 minutes without goals score and I know Manchester City will win at the end.

I am not saying that Manchester City would win the match, I am only saying that Atletico prefer to play defense and if Manchester City can score one or two more goals, that Atletico may not qualify because the club do not score much goals in matches like what Chelsea did yesterday that it almost qualified which do happen in Champions League, but I am not thinking Atletico is capable of that. But it is very possible the match ended up with either Atletico or Manchester City to win. Manchester City is very good in Etihad but why only a single goal scored while playing with Atletico. Atletico match may not be predictable with even the small odds' given to Manchester City. Also you need to think of this, that what if Manchester City qualifies for the semi final but draw today's match with just a single goal difference but qualify with aggravated goals, I mean first and second match goal result as Manchester City is winning with 1 goal already.

Atletico Madrid already have a one goal deficit and that alone can be hard for them to overcome. yes, I also agree that Atletico Madrid prefers to defend and when at a time like this they are needed to attack I think they will be under more pressure which is not good at all. I know that Atletico Madrid is a great team, but I really don't think they are good enough to win against Manchester City especially when they have a deficit.
By the way, the match has been drawn and goalless.
