Guess what? It's still not final after 8 long months. At the same time, Disney made the Asia Cup and ICC tournaments free to watch for its mobile users. 2014 Jio effect happening again, this time with the streaming domain.

It was completely unexpected that the USA would provide such a large target. The USA team is not very strong. Every batsman of the USA batted brilliantly. I knew that Ireland's bowlers were not experienced. However, I never expected to see the USA players perform so well. They played well. But even after giving such a huge target, their chances of winning are very low. After 40 overs Ireland collected 270 runs losing only 4 wickets. Ireland needs only 43 runs from 60 balls. It was completely unexpected that the USA would provide such a large target. The USA team is not very strong. Every batsman of the USA batted brilliantly. This was a warmup match. I don’t think anyone actually cares about the warmup matches. But anyway, this was a good chase from Ireland. Ireland chased down the target with 29 balls left. Ireland also won the match with five wickets. I have to say the more I am watching Tector play tomorrow I am being impressed. He is a great player for Ireland and he is probably the only one who has been performing consistently. He was a big reason why Ireland was able to chase that target so easily in the end.

This was not unexpected because USA is having all Indian origin players which have good experience of this game, and they were playing on batting track against an inconsistent team, so this score was expected because in another match we have 367 from home side Zimbabwe against Oman and opponents also score 339 mean these could be usual runs in this event.

Still good performance from the USA against team like Ireland even they lost this match by 5 wickets and 29 balls left, so we will have good matches in this qualifier and any team on his day can do good performance which can create good surprise as well Harry Tector is good player as recently his performance is giving good results to his team.

Like everyone else I would say that PCB has taken a good decision if their cricket board had not accepted it would have a bad impact on their cricket.Hopefully, if everything goes well, we will see a beautiful Asia Cup. And thanks to ICC for finding a solution to this problem.

There is champions trophy coming up in 2024 and Pakistan has got its hosting rights. There are unconfirmed news that India will not visit Pakistan to play that ICC tournament and that's the primary reason it will be relocated to some other country. So BCCI was not comfortable in playing in Pakistan no matter whether its ACC event or ICC but willing to host Pakistan in India. Its a win win situation for BCCI and total loss for PCB.

I am sure that the BCCI is going to cause the same issue again at that time. I wonder if it is possible to be fixed beforehand. I also don’t know how the situation in Pakistan is going to be at the time. I hope it is going to be fixed and the situation in Pakistan is also going to be stable by 2024. I also understand why the BCCI does not want the Indian players to go play in Pakistan. But at the same time, Pakistan does have the hosting rights. Another issue is going to be created in my opinion.

At the end of the year after election new government will be formed and everything will be normal and stable, so BCCI will have no option to deny move to Pakistan for ICC champion trophy, just like indian journalist Vikrant guphta says that in order to deny move to any hosting country for ICC event you should have solid stand like cut off biletral relation with hosting country, while still india and Pakistan has Thier embassy in each other countries. Which mean they still have biletral relation and will be. So from this point it's clear that India can't make any new scene for denying Pakistan move otherwise they will face sanction.

When I first saw the match between Ireland and United State of America I thought from the beginning that USA is going to lose today, but their batting performance surprised me today anyway USA lost this match but I think the performance was great.

The best part, Ireland used to have similar conditions of play against other teams and now USA have done the same against Ireland. This means in a previous match against Bangladesh, team Ireland scored 319 runs in 45 overs and lost it due to poor bowling. There is improvement in bowling from both Ireland and USA.

One among that is the match between Nepal and UAE. In the match Nepal won the toss and decided to bat first. It made decent runs from the beginning. Finally scored 275 runs losing every wickets in 49.5 overs. UAE started their innings and reached the target and won the match in 49.5 overs losing 7 wickets. Really great performance from the middle order of UAE, particularly from Rohan, Rameez Shahzad, Asf Khan and Ali Naseer. Earlier both the teams faced in the ACC Premier League final and Nepal won it by 7 wickets.

Smaller teams like Nepal know what a big achievement it is to qualify for a major tournament but after they qualify, all their hard work goes in vain when the tournament is canceled due to political strife. I am not following these matches very closely. Honestly, I do not care about these one sided matches so much. I am just looking at the score of these matches. Personally do not have the time to follow or watch each match closely. I am actually more interested in the match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Bangladesh do not have any win against Afghanistan in test matches as far as I remember.

Actually, I am not watching the test match as well. But from watching the scores I can say that Bangladesh is doing well. Joy and Shanto had a record-breaking partnership of 212 on the second wicket.

This time, it is a very good opportunity for Nepal. Despite the ICC and the BCCI trying their best to put obstacles in their path, they have managed to qualify for the Asia Cup as well as for the ODI World Cup qualifier. Finishing at top-2 for the ODI World Cup qualifier is going to be extremely difficult, but the experience they gain while playing against teams such as West Indies and Zimbabwe would be very useful when they face India and Pakistan during the group phase of the Asia Cup.

Till now Nepal has played a total of 51 ODIs and 57 T20Is. However, none of these 51 ODIs were played against full member nations. Their matches against West Indies and Zimbabwe during the ODI World Cup Qualifier would be the first against full-members. They have played a total of 7 T20Is against full-members (3 vs Ireland, 2 vs Zimbabwe and one each against Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Out of these 7 matches, they managed to win just one (vs Afghanistan).
