Yes that's correct. there is no reason for Real Madrid to bring Ronaldo back to the Santiago Bernabeu. at Ronaldo's current age, not much can be expected from Ronaldo. besides that, he has a big ego and always wants to be a regular player even though his performance is clearly dropping.

I feel like it won't be that much of a big deal, it's just three games and Barcelona is good enough to beat them. Espanyol and Getafe should be quite easy, it shouldn't take that long if you ask me, which leaves just ATM and that could be a trouble for them, there is a possibility, but if they can play without him and win, then they will get him back all relax and rested, world cup will tire him a bit, and he will rest during these games and get back in shape.

It's early in the season enough that 3 games wouldn't be a problem if they can get 6 or more points out of them. They may end up losing the lead during this time, but they can earn it back later on.
