I admit that the salary for a Mbappe is very high as you mentioned and I have never seen a Real Madrid player who is paid more than €50m so it will be a challenge for Real Madrid whether to continue pursuing Mbappe and decide to cut other players' wages to provide a salary fantastic for Mbappe or Madrid will just let go and find another player.

Atletico Madrid got an additional player for the defense from Chelsea, namely César Azpilicueta. Azpilicueta is going to become 34 at the end of next month. This isn't a big transfer for Atletico Madrid. Simeone must have only wanted to increase the number of alternatives for right-back position. Because there has been only Molina there until they sign Azpilicueta. I don't believe in that statement, if Real Madrid want to be even better next season then they have to bring in more players because this season they were left behind by some of their main players and even now there are many old players at Real Madrid whose quality has decreased.

If it's a salary issue, as long as Real Madrid wants it seriously I don't think it will be a big problem, because for sure it will cost a club a lot of money for example. Somehow but I feel Barcelona will really be a strong candidate in the next Champions League. I'm pretty sure Xavi will definitely not be satisfied with just getting the title back at Laliga. He definitely has a much higher target, namely the Champions League. I think the next Champions League will have much more interesting things.
