I am really surprised to see how Girona I used to play in a gamble to lose is proven to be a serious La Liga title contender this season. If Girona beats Real Betis in Betis home, then I will say Real Madrid has a long way to go in winning the La Liga title this season. 

I really want to see Girona win this title for this year because the Real Madrid have been winning already before now. Girona wants to break that records in this league season with the great performance they've been pushing out there. What is more surprising about the club is, they don't have that outstanding squad depth that you can assume to be the reason why they're progressing so much at this season. But what is making them to progress is that unity between the club players because of the efforts they are putting into win. They know their targets and they are working awesomely well to win at all costs.

It exactly what I was thinking that later happened in this game. I just posted it here to see people's opinion on this game. I know Atl. Madrid may not be able to defeat Getafe. Although the red card received by Savic S was part of the reason why Atl. Madrid may find it difficult to successfully win this match.

Savic acted very selfishly and was not at all careful after receiving the yellow card. Despite the early red card, Atletico managed to score 3 goals, but Getafe made it 3-3 in extra time. If this match was not won, I think the real blame belongs to Savic, who left his team short.

Girona closed week 17 with a landslide win against Alaves at home and this result ensures they will return to top position this week. Girona are still unstoppable and they will continue to advance regardless of their opponent. A brace scored by Dovbyk and a goal scored by Portu sealed Girona's victory in this match and Alaves did not have time to get a goal back against Girona. Well, Girona is a phenomenal team this season and they continue to haunt the big teams who usually compete at the top.

Will they become champions of La Liga this season? Even though the chances are not big, as long as they can maintain consistency there is a possibility that we will see a new champion this season. But I will not leave Real Madrid and even though it is only 2 points away, Real Madrid will definitely overtake Girona. One Girona defeat will be put to good use by Real Madrid and it is only a matter of time.

I am extremely impressed with Girona's La Liga performance this season, but I don't think they will be able to win the league title. They will face some formidable teams once more because the league is still ongoing, and no team will want to lose to those formidable opponents. Girona is doing well, and if they continue to do well, I think their performance will take them to the champion league. However, we must not forget that Real Madrid is pursuing them, and based on their performance thus far, I think they will perform better in the champion league and be able to win the title.

Atletico Madrid and Getafe had to be satisfied with a 3-3 draw in that match. I thought Atletico Madrid would win but in fact the result was a draw. In the match between Atletico Madrid and Getafe I saw that Getafe's performance was very good and there was progress even though they didn't win and I think in the match Getafe were very great and appeared full of confidence. The penalty kicks taken by the two teams in that match make us believe that Getafe is currently performing well. Now Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are tied at 35 points, of course the competition between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid is getting more exciting and of course they have to improve their performance. But for Barcelona it looks like tomorrow will be a day where they can score lots of goals against Almeria, and I'm sure Lewandowsky will score lots of goals as and Joao Felix. and tomorrow's match in my opinion is a good match for Barcelona because if Barcelona wins tomorrow then Barcelona can take the position of Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid played against Almeria with a score of 2-1 for Atletico Madrid's win, but we won't know the result of Barcelona against Almeria tomorrow.

Although I am aware of Barcelona's strength as well, I believe that Atletico Madrid will prevail in this match because, based on their performance thus far, it appears that neither team will be contending for any trophies this year. Despite having quality players and key players in good shape, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona do not appear to be performing well individually. I remember 2016 when Leicester city won the premier league many people where saying they won't and lots of things but at the end they won the league despite their inexperience. The group stage of the UEFA Champions League competition is over and Europe's biggest club competition will make a return in February next year which will give Real Madrid enough time to fight for the top spot of the Spanish La Liga. Real Madrid's only problem since the start of the season is the fact that they failed to sign a recognized top striker last summer after their former captain Karim Benzema left the club but with the formation that's been adopted by the club manager Carlo Ancelotti, I'm very optimistic that the Spanish giants are gonna reclaim top spot before February that the UEFA Champions League competition will return. Jude Bellingham who has been the club's most important player since the start of the season isn't an injury prone player and doesn't look like who's going to suffer fatique anytime soon. By the time the UCL returns next year, the favourites to win the Spanish La Liga title might be narrowed down to two or at maximum three clubs and I'm very optimistic that Real Madrid will be one of them.

Yes, Real Madrid are one team that will be wanting to secure the league this season and yes, they are having a difficult time this season due to injuries but with the break from the UCL it’ll give them a good run for the league title and help them secure their spot well on top of the league, yes these  Girona is one team trailing them but I think they won’t have the strength to match Real Madrid especially in terms of quality players and squad depth.

Yeah you are right Atletico Madrid played very well on the first half of the match until one of there players was issued the red card that was one of the reasons why they were having a serious challenge but although with there performance on the first half you will hardly no that they were playing with one man down because there performance was very impressive but however just like you said there challenges started from there second half because Getafe were able to identify there weak points so when they come back to the second half Getafe started hitting them from those side, but however I seriously commend on Atletico Madrid because it was because of there good performance on that match that made them to hold a draw with Getafe if not they would have lose the match.

Loss Savic after receiving two yellow card is not really problem for Atletico Madrid because first goals scoring by Antoine Griezmann
on 44th minutes or six minutes after playing with 10 players. Success manage with 3-1 goals score but Atletico Madrid have conceded on few minutes left before match ended and very disappointed result because they can't pressure Real Madrid and Girona on the top position standings. I don't think get draw against Getafe is good result for Atletico Madrid with ten players because they have been success mange 3-1 and left few minutes not full defensive until last goals from Borja Mayoral trough penalty kick and failed for Atletico Madrid to get three points.

Still on the bad trend for Atletico get winning result after last match before in La Liga defeated by Athletic Bilbao, current position Atletico Madrid left 7 points from Madrid and 9 points from Girona.

Yes, many people are surprised by Girona's appearance, especially this season.
