Is only 2 ? I think being on 2nd place in LaLiga is really a great achievement that no one really anticipated before the season began. Personally , I think they will become champions of LaLiga just like Leicester did it a few years ago in EPL and I'm saying this because I've watched at least 6 games of Girona this season and this team is playing the best football in Spain right now and they should be champions as long as VAR or some referees won't screw them.

I mean they are currently in La Liga for the 2nd year. They were promoted in season 22/23. That means they haven't played in the league for long.  The first year they ended up in 10th place. This year they are starting to make history of always being in the top 3. This season Girona drew against Betis, this left them on the same points as Madrid and they dropped to 2nd. Betis are not a weak team, they have also only lost 2 games.

I agree completely with your point of view, xavi is in no way the problem Barcelona has currently, and changing him will in no way improve Barcelona any better, they will just have to start all over again getting use to the new coach and that luxury of time is what they don't have as the season has gone halfway already if they must change coach it should be after this season.

This season's Girona climb is incredible. Since I've been following their games, its amazing how they've competed with the big leagues despite lacking depth like Real Madrid or Barcelona. Their constant performance against tougher opponents has been fun to see. They now think staying in the top 4 is possible.
