If they continue to lose passion for games, because of previous defeats then it means that they will have very slim chance of winning Inter on Wednesday, because they have lost again today. It is quite a surprise that Atletico performance was very poor to the extend that they only had four shots on target.

Cadiz are the big boys today, because they were able to break the chains of hard luck today by having their first win since 6 months ago. They played impressively, and I hope that this victory will motivate them to win their next match.

Cadiz, who were threatened by the relegation zone, acted beyond predictions, surprisingly they were able to beat Atletico with a score of 2-0. A victory that might make many bettors lose, because on paper Atletico are much more favored to win the match even though they are playing away from home. Cadiz luck in getting an additional three points is a further learning for everyone, that mediocre teams are not always a source of points for elite teams. Even though they have not been able to get out of the relegation zone, Cadiz now has hopes of staying in La Liga next season.

Barcelona faced many difficulties when hosting Mallorca, and the team was in the bottom half of the La Liga rankings. On a very ungainly day, the home players kicked 20 times towards the away team's goal, so the 1-0 victory was a big disappointment after the 90 minutes officially ended. Barcelona played slackly after scoring the opening goal against Mallorca. This opens up opportunities for the away team to rise up. Truly, Barcelona is having a terrible season but I commend their performance yesterday despite it was a narrow win. I know he's part of the team but at his age, no much should be expected from him yet. Unfortunately, Barcelona seems to rely on him in order to get victory this days while the the senior players play poorly. Sadly, Barcelona is very proud about this. The kid score and the team became even more sluggish instead of protecting the lead and seek for more goals. Barcelona was just lucky it wasn't playing against top team. Gundogan was the worst player on that pitch, not because he missed penalty but his total performance was abysmal.

It is a terrible season for them because it is looking like they will not be able close the gap between them and Real Madrid. Their dissapointing draw against Granada in their home followed by their draw against Athletico Bibao are two events they lost four matches. Assuming they won those matches and secured those points, they would have been hopeful of turning things around as the gap would have reduced to a single point with Madrid having an outstanding match. Unless Real Madrid loses some series of matches, which I do not see happening, the best Barcelona can do is to focus on retaining the second position and the deploy all their force to the champions league.

I don't know about them winning inter Milan because they are one of the most informed team currently now in the whole world as  a whole because they have maintain a strong mind of playing and have really done well so I was quite sure that it would be hell for them to actually win inter Milan in their champions league draw but for the case of their league game that's a totally different case and I hope that greizman do start up and atleast make a difference in the club scoring power.

Girona is leading Osasuna with 1-0 now, and I believe Osasuna are not in good shape to compete with Girona in the league. I just know that Girona will not win the laliga trophy anymore, but they will try and continue staying in the second position in the league, and they can chase Real Madrid in the league again when Real Madrid draw against Valencia, but they fail to defeat their opponent and ended up in a loses in there last match.

Xavi's performances in the league are gradually improving; I expected the match to end in a draw, but Yamal saved the club and earned three points. Yamal will be a fantastic feature for Barcelona because the boy is very talented and skillful i enjoy watching him on the pitch whenever Xavi puts him on the pitch. I'm simply waiting for Napoli versus Barcelona next week to see who will go to the Champions League quarterfinals because in their first leg, they played a bad game in the second half, giving Osimhen an opportunity to draw with them in the first leg.

After Barcelona defeated Mallorca yesterday to move the second spot of the Spanish La Liga table, many people were of the opinion that Girona will likely struggle to finish the season in the top four of the league at the end of the season but because I've been following the performances of Girona since the start of the season, I had a different thought as I've always maintained that Girona will certainly finish the season in the in the top four but main concern was how they'll manager to play in the UEFA Champions League competition next season if Manchester City also finishes in gbe top four of the English Premier League table because there's a rule by UEFA that restricts two or more clubs that are owned by one owner to participate in the UEFA Champions League competition in the same season. Girona and Manchester City share the same ownership.

Despite the fact that Girona might not play in the UEFA Champions League competition next season even if they finish in the top four of the Spanish league, I'm still very sure that they'll fight to finish in the top four. They're currently leading in their league game against Osasuna and I'm very optimistic that they're gonna seal the win and retain the second place in the league table

Their consistency is getting worse in the domestic league especially if we look at the statistics in the last 5 matches they have tasted defeat, 1 draw and 2 wins actually this is a little doubtful whether they can successfully reverse the score when facing Inter in the second leg or not.
But looking at the match in 90 minutes there is actually nothing wrong in their performance because they still play very well, it's just that sometimes their finishing and their goal productivity are not too erratic.
At one time they can play well where they can score a lot of goals in one match but in other matches sometimes we see that their finishing is really bad.

This must be anticipated from the start by Simeone if they really want to qualify for the Champions League unless they give up on that and focus more on getting maximum results in La Liga. But I think that is an inappropriate choice because after all at the moment their position in La Liga is still a little safer and it would be better if in the Champions League they could also qualify even though in terms of opportunities they are smaller than Inter.

Looking at the records.in the table for me it's not really looking encouraging even with real Madrid who happens to be a top team on the table too, Girona is currently four points away from real Madrid that's if they are able to secure the second position on the table by the end of the game they are playing tonight, girona will aswell be just a Point away from Barcelona who will be directly behind them at the third spot.

By the way, this defeat of Atlético opens up two new possibilities: firstly, if Atlético wins against Las Palmas, then there will be only 2 points between Atlético and Atlético, which casts doubt on Atlético’s place in the top 4. Secondly, maybe I’m naive, but will this state of affairs (degradation of the club over several seasons) still push Atlético’s management to change the coach? Or is Simeone going to break all records for longest tenure at one club?
