You jokers have it all wrong. When Trump leaves office at the end of his second term, a different Trump will take over. There will probably be at least a third Trump. Look at politics and what is happening in the world... like wars and rumors of wars, etc. Then consider 1 Corinthians 15:52a in the King James Version: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: So, we have lots of time yet. There has to be at least one more Trump after this one. Of course, people die all the time, Trump or no Trump.

You're taking this too personally LOL. I'm driving with expired temp tags, not too worried. By definition 8-16% of drivers will have some sort of registration issue after 1-2 months if shutdown so there is probably going to be some leniency otherwise local courts will get DDOSed with contested tickets.
P.S. Trump will lose. It doesn't take much to revive your hopeless fantasies does it?

PA and MI seem very likely to go Blue.
You hear about the protests at the MI capital in Lansing? All those people pissed and even protesting right in the capital building against the D governor while open carrying "assault" rifles? (Beautiful!) Michigan social media is just packed with posts hating on Gretchen Whitmer (D gov) over the lockdown.. DJT's signature is on all the letters for the $1,200 stimulus payments.. No bullshit marijuana legalization crap on the ballot this time (that I know of) to drag out all the stoners to vote for it and all the free shit they can while they are at it.. I'm thinking Ds are going to have a hard time in the next election in Michigan especially.. People are pissed about the lockdown.. Even D voters (bernie bros) I know are pissed at the D gov over it.. Even I'm pissed because I can't get the stupid fucking government to transfer my license plates from my winter car (down for maintenance) to my summer car.. Secretary of State offices are closed until the 27th.. No option to transfer plates online.. No option to make an SOS appointment, even on/after the 27th, to transfer plates.. Not taking phone calls or anything.. So screw them, I'm driving with the wrong plates on my car, and will tell them they can eat a bag of dicks over it if they want to give me a hard time about it.. If they pull me over I'm gonna cough as much as I can.. You're probably fine. I know in NY, NJ, CT all licenses and registrations that expired after March 1 are extended indefinitely. Maybe just carry around registration for the car the plates are supposed to be on.

Not fully sure if this is the case, or if my memory serves my right, but I saw that in NY and (NJ???) that they're allowing you to handle a lot of the registration issues online. I know with something like returning the plates, they're just suspending that indefinitely -- cause that opens a can of worm with mailing things. But in regards to typical day to day license issues, they're allowing you to do all of that online and rolling out more online features every so often. At the very least, we're going to be able to do a lot more functions online after all of this. Which is nice.

At the very least, we're going to be able to do a lot more functions online after all of this. Which is nice. All the online stuff is working fine. But because all the DMVs are closed they just made any license or registration that expired after March 1 extended indefinitely. All DMV field offices are closed and all road tests have been suspended until further notice. All reservations have been cancelled. Licenses and registrations expiring March 1st or later have been extended until further notice. Many transactions can still be completed online. https://dmv.ny.gov/officesPretty sure a bunch of other states did the same thing. If you aren't speeding, swerving or match the description of someone they're looking for I don't think you have much to worry about.

How much will the coronavirus issue impact voter opinion against Trump and the GOP if the elections go ahead in November 2020? Will protest voters move over to Biden (or whoever the Democrat nominee will be) because of their opposition to manner in which Trump conducted himself throughout the whole coronavirus issue?

Trump has done a fine job and if anything people are more pissed at the Ds over the lockdowns than pissed at Trump over any of it.. All of those stimulus checks had Trumps signature on em, and the less money you have the more those checks mattered.. If you aren't speeding ... I don't think you have much to worry about.

At least you're admitting that Trump is trying to buy votes with the stimulus checks LOL. I'm not that cheap but if he adds a couple of zeros I'll consider not calling him an orange dotard. I just realized something... Trump is freerolling our bet isn't he? The stimulus check more than covers it. I couldn't think of a better way to spend it even if I tried.

<not speeding lol The checks don't have his signature on them. He has his name printed in the memo though and you get a separate letter on White House letterhead with his signature. I got mine for my $48 stimulus payment today. The whole blaming the democrats for the lock down is such a weird argument to me. Probably just my TDS, but I see so many Trump supporters bitching and moaning about their civil liberties and at the same time defending Trump in everything he does, while at the same time Trump is allowing their civil liberties to be stripped. Why aren't they mad that Trump is allowing this to happen and isn't doing everything he can to protect their freedom? He's already made it clear he has absolute power over the situation - why isn't he using it?

Trump was a sure winner at the time suchmoon posted this thread. But with coronavirus development and how much Trump made a fool of himself, I guess Trump has lost support of a large number of literate groups. US citizens are good at choosing the lesser damage option.

Half of the world politicians run into the same trouble. Also, pandemic happened not because of Trump or somebody else. But for example, Iraq war was started with Bush. So, why he was elected the second time in that case?

While I would consider myself a republican and would say that I do love freedom and liberty and all of that, I don't understand people who are complaing about the stay at home orders. I get it -- people are being hurt economically and they want everything to go back to normal. But there isn't going to be a way to go directly back to normal. I don't care if you open up tomorrow or in two months, your business isn't just going to magically be back up and amazing again b/c people are just not going to want to go out as much for sometime. If you opened up all the restaurants in my town, it wouldn't magically fill them up. If we just begin to open up everything willy nilly and tell everyone its okay though, we're going to kill more people -- lets not.

Why would people object to being bankrupted, impoverished, made homeless, and starving by force of state mandate of which they have no authority to do in the first place right?

Michelle Obama is someone that's going to win independents even though she doesn't have political experience. People are immediately going to associate her with Obama's policies and Obama is still incredibly popular with moderate democrats. I expected Kamala Harris and speculated that she dropped out early because Biden's campaign cut her a deal for some position in his administration, but I could see Michelle Obama taking the same spot. Kamala for SoS, maybe? That was what Obama did for Hillary back in '08.
