All of that was predicated on massive availability of the 16 and 14 nm fabs being available in mass amounts by early this year, that's all been pushed back at least 6 months if not more with the fab problems earlier this year.

All I know is I don't know what to believe right now. Better safe than sorry!!! I registered for one unit twice. I intended to register for 2 units one time but accidentally clicked submit before I could change the quantity from 1 to 2. We'll see what happens. If I'm part of some elaborate joke, so be it. If not, and my name gets drawn, Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

If not, and my name gets drawn, Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Well I hope they at least send those who fell for the April fools joke a 'spondoolies mug' or 'decal' or something....ah 5 min of JOY dashed on the rocks of reality...such is my lot in life....took me 5 min of how to actually frigging get 5K together before I got around to actually read and ponder the post. I was overcome with the idea of the equiv of GPU mining coming back...so to speak...ah well....was a good few minutes till the rational part of my brain kicked in reading the post (100TH at 1000w??? wtf) etc....then of course the DAMN IT...its April 1st realization.....was a sudden and dramatic 'splat' ...I hate reality as a concept for feeling 'warm and fuzzy' it is overblown imho good one thou...I posted this in KNC forums...hopefully ...you will get some "interesting' panic attack stories from your competitors.... I wait with dread the 'email' from you guys that probably will look like this sheesh

I'll check the registration xls later, but if this is true we'll disqualify you. Only 2 SAT10 per customer per month.

After two years in the making, I'm happy to announce that we completed the development of a very efficient SAT solver for SHA256. On Intel D54250WYK NUC with 16 GB of RAM, we're getting about 100 TH/s. With great power comes great responsibility. In order to protect the Bitcoin ecosystem, we'll sell each month only 1,000 SAT10 units. The initial cost will be $5,000 per unit. We'll sell up to two units per customer each month. Each SAT10 unit will contain the following: - Intel D54250WYK NUC - 16 GB Kingston SODIMM - 1TB WD Magnetic 2.5" HDD (we'll provide SSD upgrade option) - Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 card - Spondoolies's Propriety mini PCI Express card - Pre-configured Ubuntu 14.04 with cgminer, running as full node The mini PCI Express card contains proprietary essentials close elements of the SAT Solver. We did a large scale testing of our initial batch last week but beside testing and development, we don't intend to run our own farm. If you're interested to participate in a draw to buy the first batch (shipping immediately from stock), please fill the following form: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/sat10-drawThanks, Guy Last week testing can be seen here: We used a sliding window of 300 SAT10 every few hours. We'll upgrade next month batch to Intel NUC NUC5i5RYH model. The CPU in the NUC NUC5i5RYH is 5th generation Intel® Core™ i5-5250U processor (a Broadwell micro-architecture, 14 nm) We'll pre-load the machine with Popcorn time for Linux (64 bit), so the SAT10 may be used as a very capable HTPC while triple functioning as full node and capable miner. We'll sell an optional SSD upgrade and an optional AirMouseWe're testing various Steam games for Linux to see if it will make sense to sell an optional Gamepad as well. Guy And of course, a fifth usage (beside Miner, Full node, HTPC and Games Console) will be for video conference, with an optional webcam The draw registration for this month batch will be closed in few hours: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/sat10-drawGuy Unfortunately, Intel's NUC doesn't support CEC. We're testing Pulse Eight's add-on intenal card: https://www.pulse-eight.com/p/117/internal-hdmi-cec-adapterIf the testing will be successful, we'll sell the adapter as an option. We want to allow the best possible HTPC experience while mining and protecting the Blockchain. Guy Another shameless bump.

if i bump the ram to 32mb. will i get 200th/s? The NUC maximum memory size is 16 GB No, the SAT solver memory requirement is exponential. I believe we found the sweet spot. Guy

I need to change the thread name to "home mining" gear. But then people won't find it. Dilemma.
Guy
Just change it to "[ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready home mining rigs That will really mess with their minds.
