Hi everyone, i'm still waiting for my sp10 to be delivered (still in israel atm ) and i was wondering if there is an option to schedule the power consumption ? in france we have full hour (0.14€/kwh) and empty hour (0.10€/kwh). I would like to schedule full power during 8 hour and "quiet" during 16 hour. Already implemented ? add it to the todolist ? That wouldn't make sense, the SP10 is making 0.1 BTC a day, that's about 35 €. Far more than your power consumption (30kwh/day), even at 0.14 €, do the math! this; people who just want to have a rig so they can cash-out their BTC for fiat at the rate they can get when they mine it and are continually obsessed by ROI this and ROI that... I ask them to remind me, how many block halvings have we had and where are we in the life of our cryptocurrency? If people no longer feel like early adopters after only ONE block halving, sorry BTCit-joe, but it may be time to get out of the game and find another trading stock. I've no problem spending $5k on an SP10 and i'll have no problem spending more for the next generation of SP-T rigs, when I can afford it. 'Crypt Keeper' hypocrisy abounds I take this as a personal insult! I wanted to help wanna4fun to get the most out of his sp10, so he can pay his power bill and get a bit extra. I see nothing wrong in this, we all have to pay our bills and if we can't pay them, we cannot afford to buy new miners. So would you please stop the BS now, I hope for you that you don't have to pay $0.20/kwh like wanna4fun has to!

We'll improve our web site. We're using Shopify e-commerce platform and it has it's limitation. You friend can contact sales@spondoolies-tech.com and we'll create a custom order and BitPay link for him/her. Thanks for your quick reply ... however, does this mean that once a product is ordered, a purchaser has no way of tracking its status? He can always email us. info@, sales@ or support@ He does get email confirmations, etc So, we did a bit of research. We'll enable user accounts at Shopify soon.

Spondoolies-Tech,...
WHY you don't try to RAMP the production of SP10 as SOON as you can ...let say to 300-400-500 a day ... 10000 to 15000 a month...?
ZiG, It was already discussed at some length. There in no magic wand that will allow us to ramp productions immediately. The lead time for the ASICs is 3 months. For other parts it's 1-2 months. By getting as much pre-orders as we can for SP30, we'll be able to ramp up production for SP30 in September and October, but certainly not to the quantities you're indicating. For example: Assume for a moment that the COGS (our cost) for the SP30 is 1,000$ (it's much, much more). We'll need to pay, upfront, 15M$ X 3 months = 45M$ to be able to prepare such pipeline for September-November Now, since the COGS is much more than 1,000$, you can understand that the amount of money you're requesting as to invest upfront is simply absurd. Please don't give Bitmain as counter example. Their S2 product is about to EOL in June - July with current BTC price and hash-rate growth.

Edit: Maybe it's the ambient temperature in Scotland... We should ship all our machines to you and ask you to open the Window we have summer - it's 15 degrees again today. glorious. i'll pop out and buy a lottery ticket, if I win, i'll be buying everything that's left on that SP30 group buy.

Hello, This week I had to send the devices from your competitor's back to China. My custom agent (Poland) told me that the devices does not have the CE marking and declaration of conformity and certainly will be stopped at the customs office indefinitely. My question is: 1 Do your devices are CE marked? 2 Do you meet the requirements in the directives on electrical equipment? 3 Do you provide for the importer Declarations of Conformity with the device? http://www.conformance.co.uk/info/declarationofcon.php # http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE_marking

Their S2 product is about to EOL in June - July with current BTC price and hash-rate growth. your sp30 at current rates of btc and a 15% diff would lose 1600 usd your sp30 at current rates of btc and a 20% diff would lose 3383 usd your sp30 needs to be delivered on Aug 1st and btc need to stay at 489 usd and growth rate needs to be 13% for it to profit about 1600 usd. The problem it has is it is not a big jump up over the sp10 and the delay until August makes it a no go. the sp10 is pretty good. it is the best piece of equipment available todaydiff is scheduled to be 5x what it is today come aug your new gear is 3.85x the hash. lets say you have a sp10 in hand may 5th and you paid 4k usd . it stands a chance of making money.

Ordering SP10 via the bundle deal and applying 10% discount (with proof of order from other manufacturer) and you're at 3,600$ Ordering now and there is a very good chance you'll get your miner well before the 10th

Far more than your power consumption (30kwh/day), even at 0.14 €, do the math! that's so true.... but hey save the planet ^^ Hi. We will put it in our todo task queue, but not at high priority. What you can do for now is to set that in cron. Note that the time of miner is rather random, and you can not change it's time when it is mining. So do the following:
Set miner time: 1) ssh to your miner 2) spond-manager stop 3) date +%T -s "10:13:13" In order to start miner in "quiet" mode, "echo 0 > /etc/mg_work_mode; spond-manager start". In order to start miner in "turbo" mode, "echo 2 > /etc/mg_work_mode; spond-manager start".
Just add cron jobs you want. Note that the system will forget the time after reboot, and it can reboot if your internet is down for over 5 minutes, so this is not proof solution. We will add timeserver support very soon. Also note that directory /etc/ is non-volatile, while other directories are volatile.
I believe that we will have something ready within 2 weeks, but can not commit at this point. Many thanks zvi

Interesting news on the group buy and GREAT news on the improved shipping costs... @Spondoolies-Tech -- are you simply trying to shift risk to Roadstress? Why buy direct at $11,995 when I can (potentially) at $4995 from the group buy?Sadly they were not as aggressive on a bulk SP10 proposal We're not trying to shift any risk. We're fully supporting RoadStress buy group effort. OK, and kudos for the distributing the hash rate mantra, but to the latter question... Will you answer that one for me please? We like group buys, they help to distribute the hash-rate. We do offer modest bulk sales discounts, as you well know. to the bulk discounts -- But still didn't answer the question... It appears you have shifted from retail to wholesale and perhaps looking for "authorized distributors"? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=575499.msg6279344#msg6279344Any wandering customer buying one SP30 will get directed to the Easter Group buy of course. Excellent of Guy to answer! Added blog post to prevent mistakes: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/news/13780541-special-easter-passover-discount-on-sp30-group-purchase

Not really worth the effort, probably my IP will change in 1-3 months again. But thanks for the reply, at least I am sure now the problem is with shopify.

Sorry to hear that, actually I still have that support ticket open with Shopify about your case. Please PM me the IP again and the exact time-span (in UTC) you can test accessing the site again, and I will ask them to set monitoring.
