Ligue 1 was already to reach mid season but there was no good progress from Lorient although the league still have 17 matches remaining but i was highly doubt Lorient can able to bounce back and avoiding relegation zone and talking about Lorient upcoming opponent for next month they have tight schedule because they have to fight against tough team Lille and indeed for the first meet Lorient can win with big scores from Lille but with their current condition i was doubt Lorient will be able to repeat that result even most likely they will be lose from this match

The 3 teams currently in the relegation zone are not in good shape. Last season they managed to stay in Ligue 1 but this season they even found it difficult to compete with promoted teams.
but the point difference is still small and it can be caught. Of course, there must be improvements in the Lorient squad if they want to continue in Ligue 1 next season. this is a challenge for them. the situation may be difficult but it is not impossible that they can fight to stay in Ligue 1. They have to perform better in the remainder of this season.

This season Ligue 1 experienced another change regarding the number of clubs that had to drop from caste and be relegated to Ligue 2. Last season 4 clubs had to be relegated because Ligue 1 changed its format back to 18 contestants each season, automatically now 2 clubs will be relegated and another club must fighting through the play off route to stay in Ligue 1.

Le Havre and Metz seem to have good competitiveness to stay in Ligue 1, after promotion last season. Meanwhile, currently, Clermont, Lorient and Toulouse are in the red zone, due to only being able to achieve 2 wins in 17 matches. There is still a chance to recover, because we see that there is still a lot of match left, but I think they will have difficulty in their efforts.

Lyon consistently recovered by winning 3 consecutive wins, after previously being at the bottom of the standings. While the top standings still belong to PSG, I think Mbappe and colleagues will be champions again this season, no team can seriously pressure them in the hunt for the Ligue 1 trophy.

Another win by Lyon, wow! Especially that win over Monaco was really surprising to me as their opponent wasn't playing with 10 players either. Now they have made their winning streak three games thanks to another win over Nantes home. Lyon played really impressively from the beginning to the end honestly. They were really effective with their goal attempts so they deserved it.

These consecutive wins have helped them get out of the relegation zone so far. But to maintain this they need to continue to work hard just like this. But while they are on fire I expect the players to perform really motivatedly to move on solidly.

PSG must not underestimate Real Sociedad. They were able to perform quite well in the Group by ranking first and not experiencing defeat. In La Liga they also performed quite well even though they were only able to be in the top 10. PSG is too dominant in Ligue 1 this season and no other team is able to compete with them. I just hope people don't get bored with Ligue 1 because there are no worthy opponents for PSG. I think NICE can be a contender this season but with 2 defeats in the last 5 matches I think NICE have to find a way for them to continue to be consistent in their game.

If we look back, Brest is a mid-table team and has often finished at the bottom of the table in the past few seasons. However, this season they gave different results and continued to achieve consistent wins in every match. Brest are unbeaten in the last 6 matches and they have only lost 4 times so far. This is a very good record considering that they can now be in the top flight and have quite a big point difference over teams like Lille, Marseille and Lens.

I'm curious whether Brest will be able to finish in the top 4 this season or will they return to mid-table because the competition will be increasingly difficult in the remainder of this season and if they let their guard down then that could possibly happen in the future. Well, I actually expect something different every season, but if we talk about PSG they will still come out as champions.

It is kind of strange when you check the table and see a team that hardly scores any goals and yet they are close to PSG. But yes in this case it is the defense that won them their games and then they were also highly efficient with the chances they get. But this instantly equates to lost points when their defense is not on top of everything on a certain day. That is why I think it would be important to work on their attack.

What postponed Ligue 1 match are you talking about or do you mean the break that's now coming for all Ligue 1 clubs? I think it won't have a specific impact on Lyon in either direction. The most important fact for them was that they now gained back their confidence and saw they can win games. They can not only win one game, but three games in a row. That is what they needed to understand that they don't belong into the relegation zone. It took them quite some time to finally break out of that negative cycle they were trapped in.

Lyon's recent situation was miserable but they seem to be making a comeback now. 3 victory in 3 matches is really good as they are now out of the relegation zone. But the dangers are not over yet.

Real Sociedad is really an unpleasant opponent. You never really know what you get on a certain day against them. Their group in the Champions League was not the strongest, but finishing it without a loss and only conceding 2 goals in 6 games and finishing it first ahead of Inter Milan is quite revealing.

I don't know if it is an advantage when the coach comes from the country that the opponent comes from. Times change and sometimes teams and strategies change within just a single year. The analysis has to be done anyway.

When PSG had a hand full of world class players such as Messi, Neymar and mbappe they were unable to still win the champions league and upon this I have continually built some doubts that if they couldn't win the UCL with all these players present then it will be even tough for them having one star player alone and hoping to win the champions league.

Their problem doesn't really lay within the presence of Star players been in the team but with their attitude of team play because that has a lot to do with how well they will perform and the results they will get at the end of the match and the season. PSG don't have a chance a at winning the UCL this season because their form currently isn't stable and the competitiveness of the UCL is such that they need stability and consistency to be able to win the league title this season. But the Ligue 1 is much easier for them to win which I think they should focus on winning the Ligue 1 and probably prepare better for next season UCL.

If we talking about Lorient this team was got promotion on season 2019-2020 and they can able to survive at Ligue 1 until now although almost for each season Lorient always be hard struggle to avoiding relegation zone but at least Lorient can able to survive in the last 3 season and indeed last season Lorient was reach one of their best achievement during participant at Ligue 1 because at that time Lorient can able to finish at 10th place with collect 55 points from 34 matches but this season i think it's very hard for them to achieve again top 10 position

Lorient have managed and tried to remain in top flight league since they got that promotion over 4 years ago. Yea they might be struggling at this point but it’s not much a big deal because they’re still an average club and not much is expected of them yet. They’ve got quite some crazy fixtures which much hopes aren’t there that they would be able to get important wins to get off relegation zone. Well let’s see how the teams builds up for the Second half of the season.

 It’s not going to be an easy one for them this season but they’ll have to fight hard to pull through and with their feat of last season feel they can put up a good fight, atleast they've really tried in maintaining  their stay in the Serie A, well let's see if they'll try get out of the relegation and continue to maintain their stay in the tournament.
