IMO, PSG are a strong team. they have a depth of players that can really be relied on, including the defense that PSG has. they have, Ramos, Mendes, Marquinhos and Hakimi. and if they don't suffer any injuries, PSG's defense is pretty solid.

The problem is with the coach. how he played the formation, tactics, and strategy. not infrequently, Galtier focuses more on the front lines with an attacking formation scheme pattern. at the beginning of this season, PSG played very consistently but in the second half of the mission. their performance, slightly decreased.
I don't know what Galtier is planning, he often tweaks formations and rotates his players. not infrequently, in almost every fight he always changes his strategy. unfortunately, the players are not always able to perform at their best. sometimes, their midfield players don't contribute much. in particular, the times against teams that tend to play defensively. PSG lack attacking midfielders, Vitinha did not always contribute. and their defensive midfielder, still need to improve.

In last night's game, Galtier changed the formation again and rotated his players. he uses a 4-1-3-2 formation pattern. meanwhile, the opposing team with a 3-5-2 pattern. in the end, PSG won the game and their defense was quite solid.

I have just gotten to read that Paris Saint Germans will be with French player Kylian Mbappe for a total of three weeks as it's reported that he'll miss the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich which should be held during valentine's day.
What does he's absence bring to the squad? Negativity gone for good ? Or He's being a bad influence as he doesn't flow around with Lionel Messi and Neymar. Big games as this are games we see elite players coming out outstanding

This result is quite good for PSG, even though Mbappe hasn't played optimally but I hope that in the next match he can make a good contribution to PSG. Mbappe also received a penalty in this match, but his shot execution still failed. Actually, PSG could have scored more than 3 goals, it's just that Kouyate and Hakimi's goals were declared invalid because of offside.

It seems they don't want to be too close to the clubs below them because with this now they have more gaps especially Lens isn't going well for other matches.
Currently Marseille is back in position as they did last season with their winning streak which has not been interrupted until now.
This made them also immediately pushed into position 2 now after at the beginning of the season they had very difficult to reach this position.

Yesterday match outcome for Psg is really good, it seems they have step up their games but their next match will convince me, PSG is very inconsistent when it comes to winning matches, they are not the team to give predict most time they fail to deliver, PSG   has to do more now because their is a little gap so they have to cover it totally.

I feel psg are inconsistent and are not working as hard as they should because they know in their hearts that no matter how many times they don't win, the other clubs close to them will not take advantage and go above them. Psg have not been playing well in their recent games, and i thought it was time for Lens to take advantage of it, but they didn't and have even fallen down to third place in Ligue 1 after losing 1-0 to Nice yesterday. Marseille is the team in second place now, but they are 5 points behind psg, i thought either Lens or Marseille was going to challenge psg for the Ligue 1 title, but they are inconsistent and i don't feel they will.

Well, when PSG have Neymar and Mbappe in the attack at the same time, you can say that in defense they play in nine, because neither Neymar nor Mbappe are particularly eager to return to the defense and the team is forced to defend with a reduced lineup.

When Neymar and Mbappe on the field emphasizes the attack, it even worked with Montpellier, at one point PSG "crushed" them, but with a team of Bayern's level it may not work. PSG need more "hard workers", those who run all over the field, and Mbappe can create alone, especially with Messi around.

Montpellier v PSG match ended in a great result for PSG. They played a really positive football and got efficiency from that by a 3-1 win. It was a nighmare for Mbappe on one hand. He missed penalty twice. It was a great chance for him after the penalty was repeated. But he hit the post this time and couldn't finish right after that against empty goal. He got injured a short time after and it looks like his condition is a little serious. If he is really out for a month then he will miss both matches in the Champions League.

By the way PSG's goals were really lovely. They played like Barcelona in this match. I mean the passes especially. Two assists were very similar to Barcelona's usual game plan. Fabian Ruiz's assist to Messi and his finishing were amazing both.

Lens surprisingly lose from Nice that before this match begin Lens as favourite status because they are very strong at their home ground even during this season Lens were unbeatable for home matches and but apparently Nice can taking chances to scoring goals from corner kick which makes they can earn 3 points from this match besides that i can see Nice goalkeeper Schmeichel was performing well yesterday because he can able to blocked several attempts from Lens players and after this result Lens position were overtaked by Marseille because in the same time Marseille had important winning from tough team Nantes

Just because Lens managed to beat PSG doesn't mean Lens has to always win even if they are the favourites. Even since then, Lens has only been able to collect 5 points in its last 4 matches with only one win, two draws and one loss. I'm not at all surprised by Lens' current appearance because Lens hasn't really been able to maintain consistent form.

Marseille is even better than the performance and results of the last 5 matches. They collected 13 points in 5 matches so Lens had to drop one rank because of it. This proves that Ligue 1 really has tough competition, but in the end PSG must be recognized as having high chance for the title.

Usually Lyon has always been a team that occupies the top 4 in the standings a few years ago, but now they have declined and it is difficult to compete at the top like they did a few years ago. Last season they finished in 8th place and now they are in 10th place in the standings. Lens team lost yesterday after a big undefeated streak i think this is their second loss this season and they were beaten by nice team i didn't expect them to perform this poorly i think this is their worst game this season in term of performance but it was a deserved win for nice, they were on a roll recently 10 points from four games is empressive after the bad season they were having, after losing yesterday lense now are in the third position after marseille win gainst Nantes.

PSG don't feel a lot of competition in Ligue 1, perhaps that's why their results are not so impressive, as they know that if one of the opponents gets too close, they can prevent him from overtaking them. But their competitors help to them, Lance lost to Nice yesterday and has already dropped to third place.

Assuming Ligue 1 is as competitive as other leagues, this would have made psg to fix their defence or any other part of their team that is not strong. But  since even if one part of their team is bad or struggling, they will also be winning matches, these has made them to feel so relaxed and will only be very serious during champions league meetings.

In the end, that's how it is. PSG is very difficult to compete with because they have line of star players who are ready to make their best contribution to the team. I'm not completely leaving Lens and Marseille out of the title race this season, but I believe PSG will not be easily thwarted for the title. I know the difference in points between these three teams is not that big, but PSG is expected to maintain their form even though Mbappe is confirmed to be injured.

PSG's two best strikers are currently injured and leaving only Messi in the main line-up. I might be worried that Mbappe won't be in the first leg of the Champions League against Bayern Munich, but Neymar might be able to even though he wasn't in the line-up in the last match. I hope Messi can help his team win against Toulouse tomorrow even without Mbappe and Neymar.

Lens did not have the capacity to fight against PSG, this happens all the time, at the start of the season it was another team, I think Marseille or someone, and they fought hard to stay toe to toe with PSG as well, and eventually they lost and got lower as well. Same will happen to Lens too, we are not going to see them winning anything at all.

We gotta remember that we are nowhere near the point of actually saying anything proper about PSG, because they are not as great as they could be, but all the other teams are so bad that we are not seeing anyone getting that close. It is going to be like this until other teams get better, we are going to keep seeing PSG winning even when they are not playing as they should.
