This is exactly the same opinion I share, there's some time from now before the commencement of the champions league round of sixteen which implies enough time for PSG to focus on the Ligue 1 and gather as much points as possible and stay points ahead of other teams especially NICe who happens to be right behind them by just a few points.

If PSG can get enough points difference at this point to continually stay ahead and hope to definitely win the league title by the end of the season, they can aswell comfortably play in the champions league rounds of sixteen and hope to get pass that stage because at that point they wouldn't be have to give much efforts to the Ligue 1 because they are already far ahead and ofcos the champions league have fewer days than they do in their domestic league, by this strategy their dream of getting to the finals in the UCL could be made reality because they have been able to attain certain balance.

Luis Enrique is doing well at PSG, but I think he's still establishing his footing with depth. Nice has really shown some good strength so far in the Ligue 1 this season and they are definitely not a team to underestimate because they have really shown how good they can be, they did top the league table a few times this season and later got displaced by PSG which I see as normal due to PSG's consistent dominance in the Ligue 1.

Though Nice is really in a very good form this season but I don't see them as capable of maintaining consistency in their title hope debut but however, they are performing real good in the France Ligue 1 for them to be second in the league table despite that there are stronger teams like Marseille, Lille and Monaco means they've really done a great job so far.

PSG hasn't been in their best form recently and it's no doubts they have got one of the best squad in the french league this season but then they recently looked very unstable with their performance, making it look like they are still finding their feet. I don't understand what you mean by PSG not being in their best performance like where you expecting them to win all their matches? PSG is topping the France Ligue 1 table with 4 points and they've also qualified for the Champions league knockout stages so I don't really know what else you want them to do before you can give them a good ratings in their performance so far but so far as am concerned, the club is doing great and they deserve some respect.

You are so wrong about the management of PSG because I think money is not everything they need in PSG to bring success to their team. In fact, PSG naught many players and hired a new coach to get better results in the Chmpanis League. Even Enrique is the coach who knows his job well and had good performance since he started working at PSG but I don't think if that's enough for PSG to earn the Champions League title with their new coach during this season of the Champions League.

Monaco and Lyon are actually big teams in Ligue 1, it's just that currently the difference between the two is like earth and sky. Apart from that, I think basically PSG has had good players in every line over the last few seasons. PSG doesn't have a great team, the fact that they do end up winning the ligue 1 every season and fail at UCL shows that ligue 1 is not a great league, and one of the reasons why they did drop from fifth place to sixth place as well. You just have to realize that ligue 1 as a whole is filled with some terrible teams, and aside from PSG no other team ever achieves anything anywhere, so it's clear that they are not going to do fine.

To be fair as a whole nation they like to complain about stuff all the time, it is literally built into their culture, they like to complain, and because of that instead of figuring out a solution to the problem, which is the league being terrible, they simply just complain that the league is terrible and do nothing about it.

The historical table of Monaco's position in the last three seasons was only satisfied with being in third place for two seasons, namely the 2020/2021 season and the 2021/2022 season. Last season they were in sixth position.
Maybe this season they have the opportunity to improve or at least still have the opportunity to climb to second place.

Lyon is the last team in the relegation zone. There's not much to expect from them other than just flowing like water, I mean this team is going through a super tough time. Lyon have won only 2 out of 15 matches, 4 of which were draws and 9 losses. This is one of the worst seasons for Lyon that will be remembered, but I honestly didn't expect them to be like that.

Monaco, which is currently in the top three, certainly deserves to be favored to win the match. After all, Monaco are playing at home and that's another advantage they can take advantage of. I'm not sure what scenario can make Lyon steal points in this match, but really Lyon is too bad right now.

Lyon's series of bad results this season means they are not favored in this match. But I have hope that Lacazette can continue what he did last week when he beat Toulouse.

I am also following Monaco for few years and I have feeling mostly they started very good in early rounds but as we reach near end they have problems, and mostly they lost their consistency which bring them down even in last season I was expecting from them to finish in top four but sadly suddenly they lost their touch and fail to keep things on level and ended with sixth spot which was really disappointing for their fans as well but in this season things are looking better, and we can expect good performance from them which will help them for having better spot even now Lille and Marseille both are doing good job and having good chances for staying at the better spots.

In today match, we will have tough match as Lyon which is at the bottom having good signs of improvement and their performance is also good but still any prediction is not easy with mostly feeling win for the Monaco.

I must admit that Monaco have been incredible in home matches until this moment. They are currently the second best team about that in the league. They are very productive and really good at conceding as few goals as possible. They are like a nightmare team to Lyon with these statistics while Lyon are in big need of a winning streak in the league to recover faster. 

Maybe Lyon beat Toulouse to take a deep breath. But it looks like it won't take them a long time to be demoralized again. I expect a solid effort by Monaco to win by at least a 2-goal difference here. Marseille beat Lyon by 3-0 recently you know. I won't be surprised if we see the same from Monaco.

It's not like previous games, I don't see any light from Monaco in first half. They couldn't really control the game, Lyon defend well and look for counter attack. Balogun is not effective. Monaco have to find a goal asap or things will be harder for them. Lyon would be okay with 1 point so Monaco is the side that have to win here.
Lacazette made a hat-trick last time but he couldn't get any position in this game. Monaco is not like Toulouse. He could get maybe one or two positions whole game so he has to score if he finds that opportunity.
