I'm really happy about the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer to Manchester United. There have been so many news all over the news that Manchester City were going to sign him. And they were really close to end this deal actually. But suddenly, they didn't want to make an offer for him and they gave up. And then, Manchester United were there to take advantage of the situation. I heard that Sir Alex Ferguson called him directly and convinced him to come to Manchester United. And here he comes! The Premier League will be much more fun having him. And it is really meaningful for him to play at his old team.

The fight for the stars is about to start in the EPL I'm very surprised by this news and didn't expect Ronaldo  finally back to Man United
Now the map of power and EPL champion candidates is getting more and more unpredictable at least Man city, Man united and Chelsea have the same chance
My prediction is closer to Chelsea and Man united.

Euro 2020 championship didn't come HOME but Cristiano Ronaldo did. This transfer window is really one of the best, remarkable one as all the living legends are changing their clubs; mostly Messi and now CR7. It will be a pleasure to see him playing for Red Devils once again. I'm thrilled.
Quite off-topic- I was gonna buy some CITY fan token; glad I didn't LOL. It was an offside goal from ManU; not predictable at all.

IMHO it wasn't an offside goal from Man Utd. In fact, it would be an offside goal from Man City if CR7 sign there. Since Man Utd was one of the teams that want him, I put them as the only favorites to get his signature and I didn't doubt that he will agree. Besides, it's the team of his heart and he will be treated like a King without any doubts.

The leader West Ham are going to play a home game against Crystal Palace this weekend. I see it as another easy victory for West Ham. They started superbly and their opponent is in a really dire condition. I don't give a chance for them to resist West Ham away too much. They should still be happy if they don't get destroyed by West Ham here.

It's normal because there are no permanent players in football especially famous players everything will go in time
I was wondering after Ronaldo's arrival in the EPL, can he break Kane's dominance as the top scorer? of course this is interesting to wait

this is a very difficult thing to predict because if you look at the existing line-up of some of the teams you mentioned such as chelsea, city and MU. These three clubs now have players whose quality is above average and indeed it will be very difficult to predict who will be the champion this season, the competition will be fiercer and now the most dominating are the teams decorated with mega star players in them like MU , City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
but not necessarily Merta, they are the only ones who compete closely, don't forget the dark horse teams like totenham, westham and Leicester city which last season did contribute to destroying the top teams.
it will be a tight season for the EPL.

What a transfer window we are seeing, messi-PSG, alaba-REAL MADRID, Lukaku-CHELSEA even Arsenal did some humorous transfers, now Manchester United has resigned cristiano ronaldo, I Don't think there is a adapted football watcher that doesn't know this man, even occasional football watchers know him, his exploits in england, spain, italy now back again to England I think he is aware much has changed in the league since he left, but he is Ronaldo he always rise to challenges, congratulations Manchester United.

The transfer window we saw was an incredibly unexpected one and Ronaldo's return to base has his fans cheering that the superstar is now back.
The Premier League will be even more interesting and Ronaldo's fans will obviously be happy to see him there, as long as for Manchester the Red Devils have now brought in such a great player.

I would say that Liverpools offensive side is one of the best things about that team, with firmino, salah, mane, and all the other people who come to help from midfield, they really have a chance to score on any team in the world because of how well they play together. However Chelsea won the UCL last season and added Lukaku to the team, to think that they won't be having a great scoring ability this season would be childish, they are definitely one of the better offenses of the whole league right now, few could say they are better.

So, all this combined together comes down to the fact that we are watching two amazing offensive teams play. In this regard defense is a very important part and I would give Liverpool's defense a slight edge thanks to VVD being such an overall great player. Both sides to score? That sounds like the only viable bet right now.

Hm, feats are good, the fans are rejoicing for obvious reasons, one of the best players now plays in their club, and moreover, he returned to the club where he started to perform well. But I hope they won't make a drama out of it that Manchester will win every trophy possible. I think everyone understands that one player will not solve anything.
But the transfer window is really crazy in a good way.

What a great news that Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Manchester United officially. They made a really big surprise while we were waiting for him to be transferred by Manchester City. It is good to see Ronaldo being back at his old team, his home actually. Now, we should see a more powerful Manchester United. Of course, he can't guarantee a title for his team but I've zero doubt about that he will do his best for his old team.

When you play for Manchester United, you don't play for any other team in the premier league.

How can? I guess there is no such regulation to prohibit someone to move to another club, even it is still in the same league. Except, there is an agreement between the player and the club management to not move to a certain club. However, I think it is a rare case, I never heard that case in the Premier League. So, you cannot hate Ronaldo or disallow him to play in Man City.

I'm a Manchester United Fan, I'm already hurt seeing this news and agreement..but what can I do?

If you are not selfish, you can accept that fact. Think that a player has their own right to play in any clubs he wants. No, it seems Ronaldo only has one option to move from Juventus, it is signing a contract in Man City. I think Ronaldo has no intention to hurt Man United fans, he is always nice (friendly) to anyone from Man United. Even he didn't celebrate it once he made a goal in Old Trafford. Boy, Ronaldo has left Man United a long time ago, don't think too much about his come back to Premier League.


By the way, it seems Ronaldo won't go to Man City but he will come back to Man United.

He is still one of the best though even if he doesnt score enough goal to become the top goalscorer. Im not sure how Ole would put him in the lineup but so its probably not going to be the same as Juventus. Juventus had him as the top priority on the frontline but its different in Manchester United so Im anticipating what Ole had in mind for him

He is 36 years old and he is going to play in one of the best league so there is alot of expectations for him

It's official! Ronaldo will return to Man United!
It is Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the Premier League, more than a decade after leaving the 'red devils' in 2009.

Ok now I am convinced, Manchester united has a shot at winning the title this season. CR7 can be a league decider on his own and now he has Bruno Fernandes and Pogba at his service. I would not be surprised if it was Sir Alex Ferguson that made this deal possible because we all thought he will be going to Manchester city few hours ago.

Just for his sake, I wish united all the success this season so he can win more individual honour especially Ballon d'Or. He deserves as many as Messi has and Messi is likely to win one additional one over our best player Jorginho which is not just fair considering all jorginho has contributed but club and country last session.

Getting CR7 was a major masterstroke and edges them overstep to the EPL. However, Man City and Liverpool are wounded now and not counting out Chelsea too. So these are my top four eventually. I have never seen a player like Cristiano have the courage and strength to take on difficult challenges no matter what.. There is no player to settle it and he returns to the English Premier League at this age of 37 years, and the league is competitive and always requires 100% level and effort. Players of his age left for a peasant league where comfort and no pressure or they retired from playing.. The best player in history and it is very difficult to say otherwise..

The guy  still has a lot to offer for Man Utd even at 36 he  scored 30 goals last season, I believe he is going to help Man Utd EPL title challenge this season by scoring crucial goals, he can still play two more seasons and deliver honestly the Ronaldo is a good and very skillful player,  it obvious many Man Utd fans will be very excited to see him wearing their shirt again, and attention would be on their team to win a cup this season while spectators coming to watch him in old traffold would increase, tickets would be sold out

Yeah, PSG were still in the rumours until the deal finished successfully for Manchester United. I'm not very sure about whether it would be good to see Messi and Ronaldo at the same team. I guess we will never find out.    It is great to see Ronaldo being back here. Maybe he is not young now but I believe that he will still contribute to the team a great deal. I hope to see him in a match as soon as possible.

It will be interesting to see the competition of the top scorer in EPL. Ronaldo has no problem with his physical health and the age factor isn't an obstacle, so he has a chance to be the top scorer in EPL. It will be easier for him, especially he seems to be the main central forward in Man United this season. I believe Ronaldo won't have big difficulties adapting to EPL atmosphere and most EPL clubs' game style. He played some years in Man United before.
