Currently, Manchester City doesn't have any competition in the Premier League. That didn't relax after their triple trophies. They are still buying more quality players so that the team will maintain its quality. I have not seen any club that is prepared for next season like City. There is also a sense of good relationship between the club owners and Pepe Guardiola because he always gets what he wants.
I think it is safe to say that Pep Guardiola knows how to win the Premier League, and that's very scary for the rest of the teams in the league, look at how many EPL titles he has won since he became manager at City, some he won on the final day, some with just a point, it doesn't matter, he just knows how to win it. Last season was their third title in a row, if they win it next season, they'll create a new record and become the first team to win the EPL four times consecutively, but who is to say they can't do it, which team is going to stop City, personally i can't see any. Pep is prolly going to turn the EPL into a farmers' league.

[....]I’m also shocked how much West Ham United are requesting for Declan Rice’s signature and it also reminded me Harry Maguire was signed for a whopping £80m plus and he is not even performing half the expectations for an 80million Euros worth player. Declan Rice is a good player but £100million is just too much to be demanding for a player from West Ham United.
Declan is their best asset right now so it's understandable to want more. I guess it's also safe to assume that West Ham is trying to recuperate from the bad decision of acquiring Maguire at that price hehe. It looks like they are still lucky even after City withdrew since there are recent reports that they're finalizing a £105 million deal with Arsenal.

This is really big. Arsenal is trying to create its own record by sending a very high bid for rice.
Quote
Arsenal have submitted a fresh bid for Declan Rice, as reported by David Ornstein. The offer is said to total £100 million ($127.5m) plus £5m ($6.4m) in add-ons - making it a record for a British player.
That honour is currently held by Rice's England team-mate Jack Grealish, who completed a £100m move to Manchester City from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021. The Gunners have been fighting it out with City for the midfielder all summer and it remains to be seen if West Ham will finally accept this latest proposal.
https://www.goal.com/en/news/live/transfer-news-and-rumours-live/blt1ccfda38eda06d5a

I can't even describe how crazy arsenal is right now. Im very happy to see the competition between arsenal and manchester city is coming to the peak. I would say that if arsenal is really obsessed to get rice from westham.
I hope that this offer will not be rejecting by westham. it seems like that arteta needs rice so much.
Honestly I don't think Manchester city will match Arsenal’s bid. Getting Rice is more important to Arsenal to reach that next level than it is to them, they already have Rodri and wouldn't want to break their transfer record for a position they don't desperately need. I have never seen Arsenal go above £100m for a player, which means that the size of the latest Arsenal bid speaks volume of how much they want Rice, if he indeed wants to join them, he should tell West ham to be flexible and allow the deal go through.
West Ham are holding out for a 100 million euro bid for Rice who has made 245 appearances for the club. It remains to be seen who will win the race for the midfielder's signature. True, I don't think Manchester City are interested in Declan Rice because they already have Rodri and I don't think Guardiola really needs two defensive midfielders. Arsenal have made two bids which are likely to be as high as 100 million euros, so Arsenal make more sense in my opinion. Not because they are better than Manchester City but they are more interested and need it more. Rice would suit Arsenal's way of playing in a defensive midfield role, protecting the back four and providing solidity. This is what Arsenal need to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League and I think Declan Rice will consider his departure.
True, Manchester City have no eager need of Declan Rice like Arsenal do based on the availability and form of Rodri in the defensive midfield. Arsenal keen interest on West Ham £100m Declan Rice explains how serious and ready the gunners are for the next season as their highest last signing amount was £75m Pepe from Lille.  But then in my very opinion this is coming some how  late, cause if such amount was spent last summer on the needed players then Arsenal would have been able to secure the EPL title last season.

Come to think of it, the price at which West Ham has placed on Declan Rice is way too high. I hope this is not one of another English media hype like they did with the likes of Harry Maguire few seasons ago from Leicester to UTD.

That is what makes it scary, that he wins those titles often times in a way however it is needed. When you look at the last season it was "only" 5 points between Manchester City and Arsenal, but I think it was only 5 points because Guardiola knew that it is enough. The scary thing about his team is that it looks as if they could play even harder if needed. If Arsenal would have finished the season with 90 points, Manchester City would have won one more game. They lost one and tied one game out of their last two games. But I am sure that would not have happened if they still needed to score more points.

English players are over-hyped and overpriced. Declan Rice is no doubt a quality player but £105 is too much, Manchester City has pulled out of the race because of the huge amount Westham is asking for. I really do not see any difference between Rice and McTominay, only that the later is not consistent because he's given less games or minutes.

Glazer family is the red devil itself, they have reduced the club to nothing, that's why Manchester united is struggling every season and have lost their place to Manchester city. i don't expect any change in the club till the Glazer family leave the club. the club has incur huge debt because of their recklessness and poor management skills in the club. Ten tag has performed absolutely and he must be given a serious attention to pilot the club to a greater height. He can only achieve it through a good owner, who has passion for the club and football.Glazer family must Go
The takeover has lingered for 7 good months and there's nothing up till this very moment. This goes to prove the Glazers bad handling of the club that reduced its performance in english and international football. The protracted silence is killing everyone and it's affecting the club's transfer activities, I just can't wait for them to pack their bags and baggages and leave United.

I won't worry about Manchester City next season, because so far only they deserve a trophy regardless of the changes other teams make but still Manchester City is difficult to beat easily. When he learned that big clubs were hunting for players, Manchester City also got involved, indicating that Pep Guardiola does not want to relax just because he has won a Trable Winner. Manchester City has full support financially, plus there is no need to doubt the management of Pep Guardiola's team because as the best coach in the world, Pep Guardiola deserves this support.

There is no time to relax (that's what Pep Guardiola said) they will continue and continue to improve their performance while they can and not be caught off guard by the surprises that other clubs have prepared for next season.

I really regret it if De Gea leaves Manchester United because so far De Gea's performance has been quite impressive and if many say that Manchester United have conceded a lot of goals then it cannot fully blame De Gea it is Manchester United's defense that must be repaired, De Gea has made many brilliant saves last season and it proves that he is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world today.
There is nothing wrong with many people who say Man United conceded a lot, but I guarantee that if the goalkeeper is not de Gea then Man United will experience more conceding than De Gea himself. We can see everything in the statistics at the end of last season and produce a finish in 3. Because not all goalkeepers will match the game Man United, De Gea is one of the people who know it. The following season Man United without De Gea and once again, in my opinion is a difficult task in finding the right replacement. Although the rumors of Man United are associated with David Raya, the agreement has not continued until now.
De Gea is a goalkeeper who has played successfully at Manchester United for years. He is not the only culprit in conceding many goals. Manchester United's defense is in trouble, and with players like Maguire who make mistakes often, goalkeepers have a tough time. We'd be praising De Gea so much right now if he was a Manchester City goalkeeper, I hope you'll agree with me. Still, Manchester United may have to pay a large transfer fee if they want to sign the goalkeeper.

@Hvdv is De Gea one of the best goal keeper yes but is he the correct one for Manchester United simple answer is he isn’t and that’s the only reason he’s being allowed to leave which makes sense to me. Furthermore Ten Hag needs a keeper who can implement his plan’s and sadly De Gea has failed to do so thus I’m not sad he’s leaving in-fact I’m happy now we’ll have a keeper who can implement Ten Hag plan’s and this shall lead to more victories.

With the whole transfer drama and the inability to settle the payment structures, I think West Ham are just doing all they can to fine tune Arsenal’s offer and perhaps see what Manchester City has got in store. But they believe Manchester City won’t go much higher than their 1st bid and they also know the player’s preference: Arsenal.

Still I feel City needs a midfielder but right now it seems they are interested in adding a defender and are reported to be interested in getting Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig. Now that City has gotten out of the race, I think they will be going after Josko Gvardiol. I feel that signing Josko Gvardiol and both Declan Rice would have been too much and would have placed them in UEFA radar again maybe in breach of FFP rules (?) . Remember, City were recently in lot of troubles but they have gotten themselves out somehow and will for sure will take care of not making those mistakes again.

Yeah for Arsenal it seems Rice is the most expensive signing but I feel that his price is well justified (bit overpriced but it's ok). Pepe was a flop signing but I feel that Arteta will surely find his use regularly in squad as Xhaka and Partey are set to leave. I would say about last season, we had everything in our squad but it's slight injuries and something just went down that just dragged us down, otherwise we were very strong last season. And now about the signings we are currently making, it is obvious that with CL also this season we have to make signings as we need density to play our best in both PL and CL in a week. It's hard to keep up for a club when they are in CL and PL as well. Arsenal needed reinforcements and here they are:

[1] Havertz (Attacking midfielder) ✅
[2] Declan Rice (Defensive midfielder) ⏳
[3] Jurrien Timber (Right Back) ⏳

Aside from them^^, we have players coming back from loan who had a very good season at their loan spell for example Florian Balogun. I think this season there will be lot of expectation from Arteta and his men.

Come to think of it, the price at which West Ham has placed on Declan Rice is way too high. I hope this is not one of another English media hype like they did with the likes of Harry Maguire few seasons ago from Leicester to UTD.

I would say, it's ok in my opinion given his age and how well he plays in his role. Also don't forget the competition between the clubs for Declan Rice. Some backed off from proceeding given his price but there were big clubs after him which were: United(last season transfer windows) and this transfer window- Bayern, City and Arsenal. Let's see how it goes, but I think he will do fine.

Maddison already agreed with totenham to leave from leicester city. Since leicester city has been relegated and maddison has no choice other than leaving from leicester city as soon as possible before the upcoming season.
Newcastle has been also interesting to sign him but totenham was able securing him first compared with newcastle. He has been bought from leicester city with expensive price.

Maddison is always wanna playing in EPL. The relegation of leicester city has been making him lose confidence to play in the club even longer.
that's the reason why he was agree leaving from leicester city to go to the totenham.

Arsenal are serious about getting Declan Rice’s signature and have had two of their bids rejected already, I’m also shocked how much West Ham United are requesting for Declan Rice’s signature and it also reminded me Harry Maguire was signed for a whopping £80m plus and he is not even performing half the expectations for an 80million Euros worth player. Declan Rice is a good player but £100million is just too much to be demanding for a player from West Ham United.
Manchester City made a big bid for Rice, but West Ham turned it down, requesting an increase in the price to match the £100 million. Declan Rice is overhyped, and investing a high sum of money on the Englishman is absurd. I know he's an important player for the Hammers and it would be a huge loss if he left, which is why they're making every effort to profit massively from his deal. Furthermore, David Moyes hunts for a potential replacement for the departing star, it will undoubtedly take time before they find someone who can match Declan Rice's remarkable performance.

I think now is the time for West Ham to sell him and make a huge sum of money but while not having the financial power of Manchester City, or Chelsea, West Ham United is one of the most traditional and richest clubs in England. And, they have proved it time and again over the last four years by buying various famous players for huge sums of money. West Ham have been preparing for a long transfer season to actually reject offers for Rhys. So they have made it clear to the clubs that are interested in Rhys that they are not willing to let him go for even a penny less than his market value of 150 million.

Now they also have Kovacic to complicate their midfield for Manchester City as indeed it looks like they are avoiding a 100m move for Rice a bit as it looks like West Ham are still not budging either.
With the conditions in their squad that are still a little better at the moment, there really is no reason for Manchester City to impose their will by pouring big money for Rice.
Now Manchester City is officially out of the race and only Arsenal are left, who still don't seem to want to give up. The previous offer of 90 million was still not eyed by West ham. Now it's just a matter of waiting whether Arsenal will also give up or will continue to force West Ham but indeed if you look at the conditions I think sooner or later it will be West ham who will give up on Rice because if a big offer is rejected again then they will lose Rice very miserably next season.

Finally we can see Maddison appear to defend the EPL club again and he is indeed a talented player who should not be allowed to play in the English 2nd division league, moreover his consistency will also be assessed later for his future with the England national team squad. Luckily when Spurs tried to contact Leicester and they immediately gave the green light for Maddison to join Spurs. The transfer fee also doesn't look too expensive at around £40 million and within the next 24 hours Maddison will start carrying out medical tests in preparation for becoming a Spurs player.

It is a very good decision for his career not to go and play relegation football, he will be good in Tottenham, but Tottenham will need more players to really show an improvement.

Manchester City is one of many teams that were in the race for Rice that have backed down and it won't take Arsenal much days to also follow same path by looking for an equal or better alternative to Rice if west Ham  still stuck to their guns on keeping him at £100m. For a club like Arsenal they won't go beyond the £90m they have placed for Rice and the clock is ticking.  Despite I continuous stand on how way too high the price, but looking at his stats hitherto, am convince he's going to perform more outstandingly well next season at Arsenal under artetha if only West Ham would let him lose at the £90m.

Since the end of the Premier League last season, it has been rumored that Manchester United will be looking for a new goalkeeper to replace De Gea, Ten Hag was disappointed with De Gea's appearance, especially after making a blunder in the FA Cup final. Manchester United is reported to have made an approach with several top goalkeepers, there are even several names who are a little closer to joining the Red Devils. Recently I heard the news that now the situation has changed, it is reported that Manchester United will not bring in a new goalkeeper this season, which means that De Gea will still stay. I'm not sure why Ten Hag canceled plans to bring in a new goalkeeper when on the other hand he really needed one, but I heard a little news that this failure was due to a price dispute. The manager already has a number of names he wants to bring in, but the price for these goalkeepers is still quite expensive for him. Manchester United's transfer funds are quite pressing while Ten Hag still has other more important priorities, so he decided to postpone the purchase of the new goalkeeper.

Declan Rice is the team captain at West Ham and of course, West Ham will set a high price for any club interested in recruiting Declan Rice. Also, even though Arsenal's midfield is currently filled with players who have good quality, that doesn't mean Arsenal are satisfied with the potential of the players they have. Because of course, with the inclusion of Declan Rice in their squad, it will be easier for Arteta to rotate players and this also makes the main players and reserves both have good quality.

Aside from them^^, we have players coming back from loan who had a very good season at their loan spell for example Florian Balogun. I think this season there will be lot of expectation from Arteta and his men.

Some other clubs will also be interested in signing him as a first team player, and he will have to choose between that or going back to Arsenal to struggle for a position to play in every game. Marseille is rumoured to have an interest in him.

Yeah he is in a great shape right now and with his exceptional performance during his loan spell can really make him useful to Arsenal. But the thing is that he wants first team chances and right now it's very hard to get that especially when we have Jesus and Nketiah on the spot for that. It is possible that Balogun might leave but I would say let's allow him to leave for another loan spell but it would be hard to convince him (in my opinion). If he wants to stay at Arsenal, I think at best he could be backup player right now under Arteta books for this season.
