I really think that Arsenal would be able to carry out a good counter attack so they could turn things around. but it turned out they actually lost quite embarrassingly 0 - 2, without a goal in return, even though they were playing at home. This certainly surprised Arsenal themselves. However, last season was like that, sometimes their performance started to decline in the middle of the season and hopefully this is the only time this silliness happens. They should learn from last season so as not to lose their chance again to hold the EPL title.

The fact that West Ham overcame Arsenal yesterday definitely caught me off guard. Although I never thought that would occur, I'm not really shocked because that is just how things normally go in football. Everyone will be shocked when an unlikely team upsets a formidable opponent that is widely predicted to win. Although West Ham isn't exactly weak, Arsenal is still playing really well. It was, in reality, Arsenal's home game, and the current state of the table makes it unlikely that Arsenal will ruin the match. To be honest, Arsenal hasn't been playing like a club excited to win the Premier League lately, and if they keep playing this way, they won't win anything this season again.

We are going to watch another game week right away but technically we have left the first half of the season behind officially. After 19 games played Liverpool are the leader and Arsenal follow them by 2 points behind. If Arsenal didn't mess up against West Ham home it could have been the other way around in the standings now.

Manchester City were also one of the most profitable teams on that week. They might not be this lucky again this week in my opinion. Because I don't think Arsenal and Aston Villa would lose again. Liverpool have a tougher game against Newcastle at Anfield maybe but I expect them to win too.

Yeah Manchester City are really lucky for the 2 defeats of their competitors this means that Manchester City is given a way to get closer if Manchester City wins the 19th match then they collect 40 points same points as Arsenal and Manchester City will take over 2nd place as they scored more goals than Arsenal. Here's what we're waiting for when Manchester City gets back into the race the situation is of course different when Manchester City is inside and I think Liverpool is more worthy of being their competitor. By the way I believe Liverpool can be relied on against Newcastle, apart from playing at home, Liverpool are also motivated to leave their competitors further behind and also Newcastle were not at their best  because they lost 4 times in the last 5 matches so without a doubt I say Liverpool will get full points, unless the match is played in Newcastle maybe I have a different opinion.

Last season Arsenal were defeated 6 times and 6 drew while this season Arsenal have been defeated 3 times and this is the middle of the season so I consider Arsenal to be almost the same as last season with almost the same achievement including total goals. I agree with you, I hope Manchester City can compete in the top 3 certainly more interesting if we see these 3 strong teams competing with each other like last season, what is clear is that Arsenal should not repeat the same mistake because last season Arsenal lost the 36th and 37th match even though it is one of the determinants.

My greatest fear is that make Arsenal did not repeat the same mistake as they did last season, they were leading the table for very long time and they lose their last matches which resulted to them losing some important points that could have won them the league, even though VAR was against Arsenal last season, and this season VAR has started having effect on them again.

I think this season will be a different one because Manchester City is not as strong as they used to be, they are also struggling to win matches just because of some injured players; therefore, I don’t expect them to go so many games winning streak as they used to do in the previous season because Arsenal and Liverpool can defeat them in their matches which can be advantage for both the two teams.
The only thing that will determine differ between Arsenal and Liverpool will be if they face each other again in the second half of the season, anyone that win will be seen as a potential champion together with Manchester City.

Last season, the same as this season, Arsenal is always experiencing this decline. They managed to get only three points from Brighton in their last four games, along with a lot of draws and losses. Very negative for Arteta, Arsenal now have to defend their own territory, and Aston Villa and City are one point behind second place. Fulham match is a very good match, they need to win points without making any mistakes in order to return to the lead again.

VAR should do better with the kind of goals they award and allow to be goals, I see they haven't done well against Arsenal and this is the second occasion. I remember the game against Newcastle and now this is another, they should do better to be very honest with you.

I think that was the first time for David Moyes to really beat Arsenal at home. They will be without some key players. Kudus, Paqueta due to Injury and it'll affect them.

Kloop was able to improve Liverpool performance for the better by signing the right players which he did in the previous transfer window. Therefore, this season they have to be really serious about fighting well in order to continue to be at the top of the standings.

Salah has performed well this season, He has become an important part of Liverpool's progress this season because he can be the difference in every match that Liverpool plays. Liverpool really needs his contribution this season and we hope he doesn't suffer bad luck such as injury. Well, if Salah in top form until the end of the season, I'm sure Liverpool could be one of the teams that will break Manchester City dominance in winning the Premier League.

It’s safe to say Arteta is the real Arsenal now. Without him telling his boys what to do on the pitch, they just don’t get to be creative enough. I see that a lot with them these days and yeah, we could actually say they don’t get to take there chances and that’s pretty bad but, you can agree that they are still within a safe zone to be title contenders. A perfect season is just what every club is craving for and only few will achieve this target in matches. A very difficult duty to win Manchester City in EPL matches, they're the top club and they barely win any match. Manchester City have dominated over the past seasons and this one is certainly not an exception for these clubs to build strong form to boost their performance. Manchester City not in good shape at the moment, but they can be able to standout to their opponents and fight for their spot in the EPL. They're champ and they ought to behave like one.

Yesterday was a bad day for gamblers, both Arsenal and Tottenham lost their match and caused so many people who played them to win to lose their bet. The funny part was that Arsenal failed to score a goal against Westham United at the Emirates Stadium.

West Ham's victory over Arsenal will open space for other teams to expose Arsenal's weaknesses. I don't really know how football tactics but I see in broad outline that that night West Ham really appeared neatly even though Arsenal dominated with dozens of shots and 75% possession of the ball.

Westham coach, David Moyes came prepared and his team flew from Emirate with solid three points, an incredible game played by the Hammers. They're in good position to celebrate Christmas and a new year in grand style. Arsenal cannot win the Premier League until they improve efficiency in both attack and defense. I'm curious if their players are being overused and exhausted due to the busy period of the season or if they are lacking a key striker. Just like liverpool has salalah or man city has haaland. I think Arsenal's offense needs more confidence in front of goal and composure and rationality in decisive situations. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Jesus can make Arsenal pay the price in the race for the Premier League title. Arsenal should strengthen their striker when the transfer window opens, with the name Victor Osimhen (Napoli) very suitable to fill that gap.

It all bows than to one thing which is lack of squad depth. Arsenal continues to play the same players week in week out, not that the players might get exhausted or say Fatigue might set in, also a similar team every match day makes your tactics easily dictated by opposition mangers. Manchester city have such large squad that they can afford to change a whole first team and still name a great eleven again. This season if you look at Manchester city also they do not have such squad anymore and you can easily see how they have been struggling to control the game when injuries to players like Debruyne and Rodri has has affected them too.

This season league is still way too open that I think Arsenal can still do a thing if they add new players to the team as I believe Manchester city will be too relax this season and won’t mount a vey hard title challenge
