Liverpool have not performed well in the Champions League this season, making it a bit easier for Liverpool  to perform consistently well in the Premier League. Although  they are playing in the Europa League, the  Europa League teams are relatively weak.

Liverpool played  very poorly last season. But their  performance has been very stable since the  beginning of this season. They  have been able to maintain consistency. At the same time,  Liverpool players are not  getting too many major injuries. This is why their  performance is stable. While Arsenal and Manchester City have dropped points in several matches, Liverpool have managed to hold on to the top spot in the points table.

Liverpool was not in Champions League in this season they are competing in Europa League and currently have good chance to win this title with their eyes are on having double for this season with I have different feeling Europa League teams are never been weak as we can check all details how they are performing with Bayer Leverkusen is undefeated in all leagues in this season, and now we have AC Milan and Roma which are also best for the going into top rounds this season.

Last season was surely not ideal, and they faced many problems which hurt them, and now they are on good level with things are going as they wanted so most chances we will have them at the top, and they will be surely able to stay at the top with Manchester City are trying to catch them which is surely challenging for them.

At the beginning of the season no one saw Liverpool coming, they played badly and at a time was battling to move to the big six, it was all Manchester city and Arsenal.
Now Liverpool sit 5 points clear of Arsenal and Manchester city with Aston villa their closest rivals.
I think in terms of consistency Liverpool are better than Arsenal and has a better chance of maintaining the top spot and would be Manchester city main adversary to them defending their premier league title.

Arsenal are very unfortunate. From 1st place they have to go down to 4th place and have the opportunity to go down to 5th place. Liverpool from the first PL match this season was immediately challenged by Chelsea, even though the result was 1-1 consistently, they could slowly be at the top of the standings.
Arsenal's consistency is in doubt from season to season and Arsenal is in doubt from competing for the title this time.

Aston Villa's consistency has also not been tested, maybe this season they will be serious competitors against Liverpool and Manchester City in the competition for the Premier League title after they last won this trophy in the 1980/1981 season. Or Aston Villa this season will be runners up after the last time they were in the 1992/1993 season.

Arsenal's performance has suddenly deteriorated. We saw this last season as well. Despite performing brilliantly throughout the season, Arsenal team failed to win the title due to poor performances and dropping points in the last few matches. Arsenal's situation is similar this season. They have won only one of their last 5 matches. And they have lost points in the last three matches. It is not possible to become Premier League champions with such erratic performances.

Aston Villa team is playing very well. However, I don't think this team deserves to win the Premier League title right now. Second place in the table is now against Aston Villa with 42 points from 20 matches. However, there is a strong possibility that this group will lose the truck and fall behind at any time. Villa players did not play well against Sheffield United and Manchester United. If they play well in these two matches, the top spot in the table would be occupied by Villa.

But all these teams at the top are still quite close to each other. But I think Arsenal will pay a high price in the end for not winning enough points during the early season or during the first half of the season. Last season it was their weakness at the end of the season that cost them the title and this time it could theoretically be the other way around. If they drop too many points now, a strong final period in the season might not be enough to win the title. I think that Liverpool is rightfully leading the Premier League at the moment as they are the strongest and most consistent team thus far. In terms of their form I see them ahead of Manchester City. Not by much, but by a bit.

Now it is obvious that the problem of Newcastle is a psychological one primarily caused by their exit from the European championship. The depreciation was too rapid and continuous. Losing 1:3 to Nottingham Forest in their is what will not happen when they were playing with enthusiasm. Not only that, Leeds United also beat them 1:0 which is enough reason to conclude that Newcastle has become a shadow of itself.

What they need now is the introduction of new faces in the team and a possible change of coach to reinstate the winning psychology in them because if they continue the way they are going, they might be relegated.

You mentioned a few examples for bad games that Newcastle played and then there elimination from the Champions League and the Europa League at the same time. If the games against Nottingham Forest was an exception, everything would still be alright. But Newcastle is going straight down the table with high speed. That is what makes people who support the club be concerned. It's not clear whether they can fix all the issues within a short period of time and get the chance to qualify for the Champions League for next season again. At the moment it looks as if they won't have a chance to compete for the top 4.

Apparently the pressure from other teams this season is such that Newcastle can't stand up to them properly and that's why they have lost 4 games in their last 5 matches. I can't explain it any other way, because for no reason at one point everything went wrong for them. I'm not taking the champions league into account because it's a slightly different level, but still. I think they'll have a hard time even getting into the top 6 of the current season, let alone the fantasy top 4

Lukaku is no longer suitable for the EPL. Actually, we cannot say that he is very old. He is 30 years old not old actually, he is so tall and he loses his speed, so in my opinion, he is not suitable anymore. It would be best for him to stay in Italy, if such a wish even exists.

This player is no longer on Chelsea's agenda. In order to get out of these problems, they need to decide on the right players again to be a competitive team in the EPL.

Yes, Lukaku more suited to Serie A because he has been in Serie A with Inter for long time before and rarely appears in the premier League so it's not surprising that Lukaku looks very reliable when he there and the only possibility that Chelsea will sell him and at the moment looks like chelsea prefer to retain talented young players to be able to get investment in players who are more valuable and have high mentality and also in terms of physicality, young players are very suitable in the long term.
It little surprising that even though they have guidelines for retaining young players, the fact is that chelsea has so far not made any progress terms of performance and looks very bad even though this club has spent a lot money to bring in several previous players.

Liverpool want a difference from themselves this season and last season because we know last season they had a lot of gaps that made them thrown out of the Champions League competition which can be said to be actually a subscription for them.

Currently Klopp does not want the same incident last season to happen again this season so they try to do their best. The midfield overhaul proved to be very influential for them this season because with the presence of Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Endo and Gravenberch it proved very helpful for their attacking line.
On the other hand, Gakpo also seems to be more confident in making movements and this is very different from the previous season. The presence of Jota and Luis Diaz, which last season was almost invisible, made the situation better for Liverpool, only in this case Liverpool's problem is still in Nunez. He still hasn't shown good performance until now, especially in the productivity of goals given so there needs to be a better push from Klopp so that he can shine because if not it is certain that he is a failed player for Liverpool.

In last season injuries give them big setbacks, and they were not able to recover from them until end of season which bring them down as they were not having suitable replacements but now in this season we have good work from Jürgen Klopp, and he is working on good strategy which is helping them for keeping things at their best level currently we are crossing halfway of the season, and they are at the top even difference is narrow but still things are going good for them, and they can go through at the top for few more weeks.

Nunez is good with Gakpo and others are also giving their best contribution which is having good impact on overall team performance Mohammad Salah is currently at the top of goalscorers list, and now he is having his name in top five goalscorers as well in English Premier League hopefully his contribution could be important for the win of title in this season while Manchester City is having troubles but still things are going into their favour, and they can give tough challenge to Liverpool.

Actually in this case I think there should be a little concern that Liverpool needs to think about, especially in the matter of Nunez. He is currently doing well because he is still quite troublesome, but with the ability and price that Liverpool paid before until now in the 2 seasons he was at Liverpool, of course this is still not commensurate with the performance shown.
He is still very difficult to create goals and indeed this is not very good for a striker of course.

As for Liverpool's other problems, maybe everything is almost certainly over where the injury that haunted Diaz is also over, it's just that maybe his family problems will definitely haunt Diaz a little and that affects his performance and now they have to think about Salah. in this transfer season, surely clubs from SPL will still try to bring Salah and this could be dangerous for Liverpool because surely the bargain will be bigger unless Liverpool are ready to lose Salah and find other alternatives for his position.

Is true that they're good at messing up and for Arteta to be in this position he is at the table only means they have lost so many points and chances which isn't healthy for the club, if this continues it will only be when the fans start shouting for Arteta to be fired. If Arsenal mistakenly win the league I'd just say it's luck because they haven't shown any sign of improvement from last season, is like they're repeating same mistake and wishing to win the title.
As it is, City are topping the league that's if you add up those outstanding games (the points) which to me they'll win it, you know that Liverpool and the others have no chance of bringing the Citizens down, so is best for this Arsenal team to start hoping for other teams who are competing for the title to lose while they win their games.

Arsenal are just a heavy joke in England because why trying to prove your weight if you can’t keep up with the fierce competition up till the very end. I think Arteta thinks he still got time with the fans to get things done.The fans are tired of the whole trial and error method used by Arteta and if they go trophyless they’ll start calling for his sack. Now Arsenal have probably let the title slip away by loosing 6 crucial points, and we can now say Citizens and Liverpool will battle all out for it.

 But will Liverpool be able to match the citizens who are now back in full shape, well time shall tell. I think Arteta’s work on this team can only help them maintain top 4 spot and not challenge for the league because they’re obviously out of the race, cause it’s obvious that they'll end up like last season, which is bottling the league, lol.

Very funny indeed, I never thought it will get to this state where Arteta still have this dying hope that with this trial and error like you said, that it will get the Gunners some where positive and I hate to say this, Arsenal might not make it to the champions league next season if they continue like this, losing games and feeling good about it.
Liverpool seems to be the next in line to compete with City but I'm not sure if they (Liverpool) can keep up when City start firing up. Manchester City have this pace that when they start is very hard to keep up.
We're forgetting something, one club that have surprised us this season talking about Aston Villa. They (Aston Villa) are not there to joke around like Arsenal, they can cause much damage to City and Liverpool if care isn't taken and feel it will happen that's if they keep on getting business done.
If Aston Villa continues to be victorious in their games I believe both Liverpool and Manchester City would be scared of playing them. And let's forget Arteta and his boys, they have nothing other than disappointment to offer.

Brighton was performing well than West Ham and they even dominate the game since the beginning of first half it proven from their game statistics that Brighton has 69% ball possession and 22 total of shots but i have to says West Ham was lucky because their goalkeeper Areola has displaying fantastic performance and during this match he make some of fantastic save which makes West Ham defensive lines is still secured until at the end of the match so in my opinion Areola is deserved to called as man of the match and as a host this result indeed not really satisfied to West Ham because they were targetting win result but at least they can avoiding to lose

West Ham sometimes appear quite impressive, such as when they beat Manchester United and Arsenal, but in today's match they relatively did not play like they had shown in the previous two matches. Even though today's match ended in a draw, I think they didn't play well enough. We saw that Brighton was able to launch a lot of attacks and they didn't even give West Ham players any space to attack them. But unfortunately for Brighton they couldn't score a goal in this match even though several chances were quite good but their shot was still blocked by Areola.

With this result, both teams sit side by side on the standings where West Ham is 3 points ahead of Brighton who sits in 7th place. West Ham actually need to maintain their balance if they want to stick closely to Tottenham, but in this match they were unable to do so.

This time West Ham was playing against Brighton and this game finished with a 0-0 result between these two teams. My prediction was not right in this match as I was predicting that Brighton would lose this game to West Ham because of the better situation they had in West Ham but they couldn't score any goals in this match. However, the interesting thing about this match is about number of shots West Ham had during this game.
They had 22 shots and they still couldn't score even one goal.

Liverpool had a bad start to the season so they weren't considered at first, but as time went on their performance got better and more consistent. Slowly they have the confidence to be in first place now. Arsenal had a good start to the season but as they entered the middle of the season they lost concentration, and Man City slowly started to improve and began to recover.

The EPL league is even more exciting because there is a surprise team, namely Aston, who has performed very well so far, but I'm not sure they will be big competitors among the other three teams. Aston Villa being able to stay in the top four until the end of the season is an extraordinary achievement for them. I predict tight competition to win the EPL title this season between Liverpool and Man City. Arsenal will always be a complement, because they do not have the mentality and field leaders with character.

One more win and they'll go above Arsenal on the Premier League table. They have lost a huge number of fans With Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland back to the system training.

Arsenal are also pushing to signed the guy Ivan Toney from Brentford but they're throwing out another Outrageous.  Manchester City will defend and end up winning the Premier League once again.s

Actually, at the beginning of the season, no one saw it coming that Liverpool would mount at the top of the premier league table towards the end of the year. But that doesn't mean Liverpool wasn't on people's minds to be a major contestant in the Premier League title, after mentioning Manchester City and Arsenal.

In previous seasons, someone couldn't mention the major contestants of the Premier League title without Liverpool being on their list of clubs that can be the winner of the PL title.
Now, Liverpool sits on top of the table, which brings more pressure on them to stick to performing well because any match draw or loss from them, brings their rivals(Aston Villa, Manchester City, or Arsenal), closer to them. I want to get Manchester City to win the game against Newcastle in the middle of January. Manchester City should be able to put pressure on Liverpool at the top of the standings with a 2 point gap, but I think the match against Newcastle is really difficult. The probability of Manchester City winning is of course good, but I don't know what will happen in this match.

Arsenal out of the Tittle race already? I would say no because this season title race isn’t just a 2 team horse race. Arsenal are just five points off Liverpool on top of the table and high simply means that they can perfectly turn around the table. Manchester might seem to have the likes of kelvin De Bruyne back and also the return of Halaand but I don’t see them in super hot form like they were last season because they are bound to have fatigue to set in most especially to players like Rodri who hardly get rotated. Last season Manchester city had a its squad filled with great players that could make a difference from the substitute bench but this season they don’t. Liverpool had always been my picked to actually compete with Manchester City for the title and they are seriously doing it well. Arsenal needs a striker and going for Ivan Toney who to me doesn’t seem ready now even if he returns from the ban before he could get back to form might be too late. As for Aston Villa I don’t seriously count them as title contenders this season but a potential top four finishers.

They had a pretty rough start but managed to grow into the game and became consistent in their performance. I could remember how they nearly lost to Chelsea in their first game but ended d match as a draw, played a few more games with Bournemouth and Newcastle which they managed to win but wasn’t good performance though. They had this average performance going on for a while and still managed to win matches, no one saw them coming because they don’t play well and gradually they got to top 4 and were just some points behind Arsenal until Arsenal dropped points and they took the top spot.

Liverpool surely more consistent than any other club that’s why they are top of the league, Manchester City and Arsenal started well but lacked consistency and they are now struggling to find their feat now. It’s too early to conclude who will win the league as this is the premier league, the most competitive league so I can’t count Manchester City or Arsenal out of the race yet.

I just think Arsenal are a bit short on quality to win it. They don’t have a world class goalscorer, I think their fullbacks are mediocre and both GK’s are not title winning quality.

He was always interesting to play in serie a caused by will able to get more regular time to play instead of joining in the EPL club which is rarely giving him time to play in the main squad. This is also the main reason lukkau is always going to the serie a and he left EPL.
He did play in EPL many years and he knew so well how bad the atmosphere of EPL for him. Yeah it was the best league in the world but since lukaku was rarely getting time to play and what's the point to stay much longer in EPL?
I don't even see strong points of him to stay much longer in that league even though he was still under contract with EPL club like chelsea. His mind can change anytime depending on the situation happened in the club.
Lukaku is just trying to focus on how he was able to get what he wanted and it is regular time to play in the main squad. This is the most important thing for the football player. Chelsea was doing bad thing by not give him a try.

The result of not being able to win in a row is what forced Arsenal to occupy the top four positions with a distance of five points from the current leader of the standings. In the Premier League it is always more difficult to catch up and equalize points when you are at the top and that is really what Arsenal is experiencing.
