The new record should be set after Arsenal succeed in defeating Wattford, Leicester city, and Liverpool. The first two might seem achievable but for Liverpool it won't be as easy as it seems. although chances of replacing of Chelsea in the third position might look a bit realistic we might be seeing new records but it might end in the third position

12 more games to go for Arsenal and they to have to face top 4 once in there next 12 match fixture, a difficult but something achievable. Since Arsenal have lost only 1 in there last 9 matches they can finish 3rd in this season. The standings at 3, 4, 5 and 6 are very close and very likely be updated after every match.

The points gap between the teams fighting for fourth place is very small. Now the team that can maintain the continuity will be in the fourth place of the table. Arsenal is a consistent team. But the opponents are not weak in their upcoming matches. They will play home matches against Liverpool and United. Since both matches are Arsenal's home matches, I hope their performance will be better. So far, I think Arsenal deserve fourth place in the table.

Arsenal right now are in good form but they are still at no 6 because they have poor start of 2021/22 season, lost all there 3 opening matches. Arsenal have already lost to Liverpool 4-0 on 20 Nov 2022 and lost twice to Man City 5-0 and 2-1. Arsenal need to play exceptionally well in coming matches if they really wanna finish among top 5.

Anyway speaking of Pep...  Big match this weekend.  City vs United!  I feel like it's gonna be a draw at HT with United defending well at the first half then City breaks the defense and wins the match eventually.  HT/FT for City is at 3.95.  Not bad imho.  What do you guys think?

@tokeweed I too thought that Arteta would get sacked early on at Arsenal, but for whatever reason Arsenal bosses had faith in him and now their faith has been vindicated, and in coming year’s he can definitely transform them into serial title challengers. Also I expect a goal or two to be scored in the first half, and while City would be the favourites to score it I feel that Manchester United can surprise them on the counter, and hopefully go on to secure those 3 important points.

Yes, without a doubt, he's done a fantastic job for a man who was on the verge of being fired earlier in the season; everyone expected him to relegate the team following a string of dismal performances, but they're now fighting hard to return to the Champions League

Not a bad prediction, but the Manchester derby is usually difficult to predict, but your HT X looks potential, since Manchester United has been keeping HT clean sheets in recent games while Manchester City has struggled to score goals. Personally, I believe the correct score will be 2-0. ( Manchester City win)

Yeah, so between Arteta, Solskjaer and Lampard, the former players of their respective clubs, it's looking like Arteta has the managerial chops to lead his club forward.  I won't say serial title challengers tho.  Not with Pep, Tuchel, Klopp and it's looking like the genius Moyes is looking strong with the hammers too.    And who knows which manager United beings into the fray.

Here's another betting idea.  Leicester vs Leeds...  With Bielsa out, new manager in Jesse Marsch in and LCFC not really in good form, do you think Leeds could win?  I mean we've seen it many times before...  An ailing team then with a managerial change, the squad tends to do better in their next two or three matches.  Leeds' line now down to 4.00, it was 5.00 a couple of days ago.

I don't think Manchester United will be able to show any surprises. I think Chelsea and Arsenal are stronger than Manchester United. Although Arsenal have not played well in a few matches, their squad is still strong enough. And very soon they will be back in the truck. On the other hand, despite being the sixth team in the points table, they have played 3 matches less than Manchester United. So even if they win one of the next 3 matches, they will be able to go to the fourth place in the table.

I don't think Manchester United will be able to show any surprises. I think Chelsea and Arsenal are stronger than Manchester United. Wish Newcastle should have kept current best performance from the beginning of the tournament. Now, they are awesome and keeping up stunning performances. They should be on top 5 but unfortunately they are down the table due to their earlier performances. Watching Liverpool play against West Ham. Expected a goal in first 10 minutes but 15 minutes have passed. This indicates West Ham is equally challenging Liverpool. Waiting for a goal from anyone.

Despite the fact that Liverpool has one of the most well-defensed team, I think West ham will score at least one goal. Now, Liverpool  already scored 1 goal, its time for West Ham which will be very difficult for them but logical with 3 shots on goals.

Aston Villa and Chelsea had emphatic wins. Brentford further condemned Norwich with a massive 1-3 win. Newcastle continue their excellent form. Liverpool edged past West Ham. Palace secured a good 0-2 victory at Wolves.

Now that Liverpool have confirmed themselves to win against West Ham then Manchester City really have to think about how to win tomorrow's derby against Manchester United. Liverpool managed to cut the difference in points with Manchester City to 3 points and are quite close in the title race.

Manchester City have to win the match if they don't want Liverpool to take over at the top of the table, so Guardiola looks set to try to force his players to win this derby in order to stay safe from Liverpool. Of course this is a tough mission for Manchester City players even though Manchester United are not favourites. I think Manchester City won that derby, so what do you think about that match, JollyGood?

Match is on fire and Man City has scored 2 goals Man Utd being with 1. Man City's both goals were so stunning with back to back passes and yes Bruyne made it at 5th and 28th minutes. Jadon Sancho literally came down all the way from the middle and yes used the opportunity to score a goal. Sancho had a lovely pass but he missed it. A lovely save by Man Utd goal keeper. Man Utd had two more chances to shoot but missed it. 1st half is over. Man City is leading with 2:1

I knew Manchester United cannot win Manchester City,and with the good form that Man City are in,no team in England can defeat them for now.They are aware of the fact that Liverpool are right behind them,and any slip from them,they will have equal points,that is why they will do every thing to make sure they win every game they play.

It's three goals to one now,and I believe before the match ends,they will have about four goals.They are unstoppable for now,so Manchester United should just  settle for a loose.

I think one of the weekend's matches surprised me... because I never even considered that Watford will score more than 1 goal against Arsenal. A player like Bukayo Saka has really shown their worth in Arsenal's attack ....with the support from Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli. 

I have to say..... my Arse puckered at some stage in the match, because my bet was against Watford winning the match. Lucky for me, Arsenal came through for me... but Watford's aerial duels was awesome to watch.
