But why do you say Tuchel is not good for Chelsea? He's done a good job.
We cannot forget that the Premier League is very competitive, and on top of that Liverpool and Man City are very strong. Also, traditionally English teams like to keep their coaches if in general they do a good job. As long as the team is competitive and fights for the proposed objectives, it does not usually replace the coach.

Your rationale about comparing Di Matteo with Tuchel is highly confusing. Di Matteo was good at managing them in the middle of the season because that was when Chelsea won the Champions League while he was temporary manager. Di Matteo was sacked at the beginning of the next season after he signed a contract to be their manager because if bad results.

Tuchel is only the second manager in their history to help them win the Champions League and that was like Di Matteo in his first season when joined them after the season had started. In his first full season Chelsea finished in third place behind Manchester City and Liverpool and that was something Di Matteo failed at.

Do you want the manager of the team that spent more time than Liverpool at the top of the league last season, finished third despite all the sanctions, had his wife get divorced, and is currently the UEFA Super Cup and World Club Cup holder fired for losing a preseason match against Arsenal? Since moving to Chelsea,  this is Tuchel first transfer window.

We were on the verge of relegation under Di Mateo; he is not a good coach; however, he was fortunate to have influenced the team to the 2012 Champions League glory with Mourinho defensive tactics. There is no way you can compare Di Mateo's full season with season to that of Tuchel.

Given that Pep, Klopp, and Tuchel are the top three managers in the league, mentioning sack and Tuchel in the same sentence is disrespectful.

I'm sorry to make you uncomfortable.  I don't offens from Tuchel's personality, my argument is because I loved the blues so much, I have support and Voted Chelsea from the beginning in session 21-22,

my argument is for sure from the last performance of Chelsea such as Champions League quarter-final, FA Final, premier league between April-May, lost competition in the transfer market, and also bad performance in the last 2 prematch.

my post is also based on tradition where Chelsea didn't have a trophy for this year which usually will be dismissed when a coach can't present it. If not in beginning, Chelsea performance can be worse if happen in the middle session of 22-23.

I do think most of what he wrote about Tuchel was absurd, it just does not make sense why someone (a fan or otherwise) would say that. They nearly defeated Real Madrid in the Champions League, both games were great to watch and who would blame Chelsea for getting knocked out by the eventual winners in what were two brilliant games?

I mean after all Tuchel has done for Chelsea since taking over the disaster that Lampard left behind, he deserves credit and respect but his logic in attacking Tuchel is completely flawed.

Man! He had a successful champions league run, becoming the first English team to win by two goals or more at Santiago, Banabuon. We outperformed Real Madrid in both games, but occasionally you need luck to win a game, and Real Madrid had that throughout the entire competition; they were the second-best team in all of the games they played from the quarterfinal to the final. A successful season in the Champions League can be defined as the defending champions making it to the semifinals.

Secondly, Chelsea did make two domestic cup finals despite spending nothing and losing on penalties in both games. We had Liverpool under control for both Finals, but our attacking options are still subpar compared to other top 5 teams.

Hopefully Chelsea is back on the way and Tuchel have plan B to formulate a strategy without being easily read by the opponent

With the squad now (without rudiger and Christensen), I still doubt they will be able to compete with ManCity and Liverpool, if I do calculations Chelsea is only able to compete with Mu, Arsenal, and Tottenham, which means for 3th and 4th place. or maybe will play hard to stay in that zone.

With the exception that Chelsea doesn't have a target for the premier league title, like the FA cup or Uefa cup, maybe still be possible, but if want more, they have to buy more players to fill up the weak position such as center midfielder, defender (minus 1) and real attacker (like you said) beside sterling (as substitution). or maximize Broja even still young without enough experience.

Tuchel was not wrong in this case but club became very different compared when it was still under abramovich. By the way i remember once abramovich was always giving bunch of money for the coach to get the good players unlike since chelsea under todd.
It's become very restricted for the coach to buy players from another club. The level was actually different. The change of owner will also create the different atmosphere as well.
I think tuchel was still in a very big pressure.

Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City

The game yesterday ended with a Liverpool win but from what I saw it was Manchester City that seemed far more cohesive. Liverpool did not play beautiful football but got the job done because of a penalty and because Manchester City were chasing an equaliser at the end of the end, they allowed Liverpool to score a third on the break.

After seeing the display yesterday, as the season kicks-off I think more teams will be worried about facing Manchester City rather than Liverpool.

One thing about Haaland, he looked lost playing for Manchester City and even missed an open goal from just 3 yards which would have made it 3-2 and made the final couple of minutes exciting. Liverpool new signing Nunez on the other hand did very well including scoring and getting the penalty.

Both teams did there best because the match statistics was somehow balanced. But I think Liverpool have started missing the impact of Sadio Mané but it seems Luis Diaz is not doing a bad job. But that creative and sharp runs from Mane is really missing. Darwin Nunez is a great asset and now the new face of Liverpool. I am praying that it should not take Erling Haaland the entire season to get used to the English Premier League Football pattern. Basically, Liverpool and Manchester United would still top the league this season because from all the matches I have seen so far, their quality outclass other teams. Quite accurate, the truth about the matter is Haaland is under much pressure to perform than Nunez, Nunez has Mo Salah to rescue the game if he isn't having a great game but who does Manchester city have, they mostly have creators than finsihers which puts pressure on Haaland to deliver and the media has its role to play as the camera would always be pointed at Haaland than Nunez.

I agree with you, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz are two different types of players, Mane is a player who has great physique, speed and reach whereas Luis Diaz is a player with full skills but not backed by a strong physique. Losing Sadio Mane would be very painful for Liverpool, but Nunez would be a worthy replacement.

I believe Manchester City’s in for a fight this season. Liverpool have already proved that they are a much-improved team from last season. Liverpool will have to work really hard though to be successful in the English Premier League and also in the Champions League as well.
