When I watch Geovanni Locelso play for Argentina am always amazed, I wonder if is the same Geovanni Locelso that plays for Tottenham Hotspur,he is more fitter in the national team than at spurs, if only he can replicate that his self in the national team at spurs he will be a gem,and he has 3 positions free for him,in the 3-4-3 that Conte is playing right now he can displace  Lucas Moura. he can easily displace the talented tennager Oliver Skipp, because he offers more than Skipp in that position,and he can still play as the number ten in the team just like eriksen did.

That is a phenomenon that also surprised me with other players to be honest. They either play good for their club and bad for the national team, or vice versa. That was also something even Messi was blamed for, who couldn't perform as strong in the national team. It might just be the case that the players in the national team better fit Locelso's style of playing.

In my opinion, managers are actually the enabler of his team as he is the shot caller. A manager knows what's best for his players and in which way by playing they can beat the opponents. Everything from the training to the actual match the manager plays an important role. So having a good relationship with the players is important for the manager. Sure, practice is a thing but that is a problem that all players have to cope with, not just Messi. What is true though is the idea that the style Barcelona used to play was much more about intense practice than other styles, maybe, I don't know.

Anyway, could also be that Locelso soon manages to deliver the same way for his club as he does for the national team.

First it was billionaires owning football clubs but then the dynamics changed again when countries started owning them. Looking at Newcastle, I think one day it is inevitable that a country/state owned football club will not be successful no matter how much energy, effort and funds are poured in to the club. Chelsea dominated domestically for a couple of seasons immediately after the they were taken over by their current owner but they had to wait for the Champions League. Now with the funds that Manchester City and PSG have on hand as well as the regular titans that are challenging for European dominance such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and a few others, I do not see Newcastle United achieving success anytime soon.

Hello people, if I'm not mistaken, I haven't been here yet! Thank God that this is a self-moderating branch, since in a similar thread of the Premier League, I added dozens of people to the blacklist - and I get the impression that I am communicating with myself.  

Firstly, I am a fan of Chelsea and West Ham and for the other guys I also suggest that they say who is a fan of which club and if JollyGood has time he could create a list on the first page of this thread ^{[username /favorite]}, (this is not so important, I'm sure in a couple of weeks I will understand who has which favorite club). Secondly, I'm still looking at Newcastle and thinking about including their matches in my multi-bets on an ongoing basis, (not because they have a lot of money, but because they are led by a man known for his attacking tactics). In short, guys, from now on I'm here with you for a long time ..

He claims to be a neutral analyst, but I have the impression he supports Manchester United or Liverpool.

As for West Ham, then I think it's more likely that as a teenager 15 years ago I was impressed by the traditions of this club and in particular the history of their football firm shown in the Green Street motion picture. Although I confess I have the same attitude towards Liverpool, perhaps because I hate City and MU, (not that I hated these clubs, but I just hate the arrogance).

I like Bayern for their management, which after decades does not fail, although they have a huge budget, but this club is an excellent example of how to manage finances and achieve results without buying overly expensive players (I remember only one case when Bayern spent a lot of money on a player). I confess, This is exactly the kind of management policy I would like to see in Newcastle.

I just heard the news that Christian Romero is injured from the international break and will not be available for this weekend game against Leeds United,sad but a great opportunity for Japhet Tanganga to show the new manager what he got,I think he is very perfect for what Antonio Conte wants from a defender,I know Davison Sanchez is ahead of him experience wise but I think he is the better defender between them.

When I mentioned Manchester United I only meant the mentality of this team as a whole, so it's not just about the coach. I do not like the teams players who want to show off at the expense of their club. Let's just say, I like Ronaldo, but his team does not create game moments for him ... things are about the same in PSG after Messi's transition (especially when Messi, Mbappé and Neymar play in the same line).

Although I would definitely reconsider my football preferences if Vinnie Jones became the new manager of MU.

Are you talking about the current MU fans?

Because, hypothetically, fans already have somewhere to go if something happens. I mean United of Manchester, a team owned by MU fans. I think you've already heard this story ... when fans who were unhappy with the club's transition to the control of the Glazer family started their own club. And although the club was founded about 15 years ago, I heard about this story very recently and was surprised that during such a time the club did not acquire professional status. By and large, this is not a problem, because avid fans do not care about the status of the club, judging by how crowded during home matches.

I will wish Chelsea to win Leicester to have more point but Leicester is not that easy to win. Today will be a happy day for Manchester United because Watford is relegating, Man United will make the relegation more possible today after it win Watford. Arsenal players are playing good now but it can be different today asthey are playing with Liverpool.

When last did Liverpool won EPL last before the club won EPL title? From 1982/1993 to 2018/2019, Liverpool did not win until 2029/2020, Liverpool still has fans. I will also say it is kind of hilarious too. The time for Man United will still also come.

kick off time finally after waiting for so long for this weekends clash of Premier League football. first game is between Leicester and Chelsea and it's my sincere desire that Leicester though they have not been super this season, can make full use of the home advantage and either get a draw with Chelsea or better still claim all three points to reduce Chelsea's lead on the EPL table.

If Newcastle United try to emulate a Bayern Munich style of management then they will probably prosper in the long term but if they are willing to pour their hundreds of millions in to the Toon Army will they have the patience to do things the right way? Time is a commodity that Premier League managers are not really afforded nowadays.

I think Ribery was the only player Bayern may have splashed out on, I cannot recall any other even though have had their host of stars in the past. The way German clubs are managed by their governing body does not allow for things like them going bust or be owned by foreign entities therefore their structure is completely different to the EPL but the way anybody can swoop for any club in the EPL makes almost all of them an easy target. In the case of Newcastle the fans simple wanted Ashley out so they embraced the Saudi takeover but deep down even many of the fans have deep reservations about the source of the funds.

What we see here is Leicester city trying to step up their game and the Chelsea shows them they are still their father. In meantime, don't judge the full-time of a football based on the early 10 minutes. Besides, I wonder why you consider Chelsea not to be good when they are the team that's leading on the table.

Chelsea were technically superior to Leicester City in the first half, creating chances and converting them to seal the game. Leicester had a few good chances in the second half, but Mendy was outstanding once again. Tuchel is a tactical genius, and I'm amazed at how he's been able to manage the club without his top starters for the previous four games and yet have them scoring goals like crazy.

If Newcastle United wish to follow in the footsteps of Bayern Munich, they must use the money to develop a good Academy for future generations if they do not want to keep spending every season.

I'm not sure how the Bundesliga works, but half of their players are from Dortmund and Leipzig. Is there a special agreement between Bayern and their rival teams that allows them to buy their rival players at a lower price than when they move abroad? It's difficult to buy a player from a rival team in England, but it's relatively easy in the Bundesliga.
