Wolves won, his lucky day if he went through with that bet.
@Igebotz I see what you saw in Enzo Fernandes now, dude has being on fire since his divorce. Getting a goal and an assist today against Leicester city might just bring back my love for him again. I was hyped about him after we signed him but he started to decline.
He now has 5 assists and a goal in the last 3 matches or so. Glad for the goal as without his goal, we'll be drawing this game again. Sanchez is a mess by the way and we need to get rid of him if we seriously want to challenge for the league next season.
Enzo Fernandes is a player I have always believed in for his strength, resilience and creativity, he plays defensive, but he is always available to help upfront and he is very creative too. I am always very annoyed when Lavia is paired with Casadei in big games and not Enzo. Enzo + Casadei at thai defensve midfield produces the balance in both creativity and interception. High time Maresca learns his lessons and always substitute Lavia later in the match instead of my efficient Enzo WIN: Brentford, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth DRAW: Crystal Palace, West Ham
I disagree with you on Bournemouth winning wolves, it would be hard. I would be more comfortable if your prediction was a draw or a win for wolves. They are at home and in a slightly better form than Bournemouth who have lost their last two matches and wolves won theirs. I think I'll stake it 1x in favour of them. secondly, I am rooting for Arsenal to win Westham from away. These are the only two I disagree with at this point.

It seems you are wrong about the first game because right now Bournemouth are winning away at Wolves (1-3). Hopefully we can compare your opinions on the games with the results I opted for. Apart from the West Ham United vs Arsenal game and the Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Bournemouth game, how do think the other three games being played today will play out? I disagree with you on Bournemouth winning wolves, it would be hard. I would be more comfortable if your prediction was a draw or a win for wolves. Hey JollyGood, are you satisfied with what you are seeing in the game West Ham vs. Arsenal? This must be a record breaking first half I suppose. I don't know if I ever saw 7 goals in a first half, but for the fans it must be quite entertaining regardless of whether you are pro West Ham or pro Arsenal. Any thoughts on Manchester City, are they going to be relegated? The trend suggests so!

Honestly, away from home I didn't expect to see this number of goals for Arsenal, if anything this should be one of those matches that produce upsets...but to win 5-2 is crazy!! What's with the goals these days ??
Any thoughts on Manchester City, are they going to be relegated? The trend suggests so! Relegated on fair grounds I don't think that's happening, unless a ruling happens that docks their points...besides they have lost a good number of games and are still among the top four which should tell us what City is about.

I was obviously being sarcastic, that is why I said "the trend suggests it" As for the West Ham - Arsenal game, well winning 5-2 is crazy, yes. But winning 5-2 the first half only is three times as crazy. That's why I asked whether this is something that has happened before. I can't recall a first half with 7 goals and what's weird is that the second half can go without goals entirely...

Just seeing this, was kinda busy earlier. Wolves and Bournemouth went according to your prediction which left me surprised. Justin Kluivert Brooke record of first hatrick with penalties in premier League, Arsenal on the other hand is really dealing with West Ham currently with lots of goals coming through in this match. I always had the hunch that this game would favor Arsenal since their captain is back to full performance and he's among the starting XI. Crystal palace drew like you predicted. The English teams saw four wins (two from home and two from away) and a draw today.

You are speaking as if this has been the only crazy thing that happened in today's game, don't forget Justin Kluivert scored an hattrick from the penalty spot for Bournemouth against Wolves in their 4 goals to 2 win. There have been much unbelievable records sets today from both games today. Although I think this second half of the Arsenal game, viewers might have anticipated more goals but it still ends with, Arsenal 5 West Ham 2. With Arsenal leading 5-2 at half-time, this was just the fourth match in Premier League history to see as many as seven goals scored in the first half, after Blackburn v Leeds (September 1997), Bradford v Derby (April 2000) and Reading v Man Utd (December 2012).

Where have you been? Welcome back to the thread. I did not see the game live, I had to watch the highlights. All seven goals were scored in the first-half and at one point Arsenal were 0-4 up before West Ham pulled it back to 2-4. It must have been tiring for the players because the second-half was goalless The Manchester City trend started too late for them to be in the relegation zone now but had it started at the beginning of the season I think they would be bottom of the table. Hey JollyGood, are you satisfied with what you are seeing in the game West Ham vs. Arsenal? This must be a record breaking first half I suppose. As much as I hate to say it, it sucks to have missed the 7-goal thriller. Nothing beats having to experience it live as it happens rather than getting spoilers and only get to see highlights after. I watched the second half of that game and it didn't take long for me to get sleepy. Things really cooled off in the second half as West ham tried to salvage more from the game and failed while arsenal just wanted to hold down the fort till the final whistle.
Today, I was reminded once again that Odegaard holds the key to this Arsenal team. Since he got back, Arsenal has been in superfly mode.

RESULTS: Brentford 4-1 Leicester City Crystal Palace 1-1 Newcastle United Nottingham Forest 1-0 Ipswich Town Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-4 Bournemouth West Ham United 2-5 Arsenal Wolves hosted Bournemouth and lost a six goal thriller 2-4 but West Ham hosted Arsenal and lost a seven goal thriller 2-5. It was good to see Nottingham Forest back to winning ways but yesterday in a surprise result Brighton drew at home to bottom placed Southampton. Had Brighton won they would be joint second in the table. Today, I was reminded once again that Odegaard holds the key to this Arsenal team. Since he got back, Arsenal has been in superfly mode. In the highlights it appears Saka played exceptionally well and the Arsenal seem to be clicking again but more games are needed before understanding if they could be making a serious challenge for title.

[...] Liverpool vs City at Anfield tomorrow.
I hope they continue their shitty run of fun for one more matchday (tomorrow). After then, Guardiola can figure out his mistakes but not before.
Based on performance, Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 15 matches, with 14 wins and a draw, and have even won in their last 6 matches. Meanwhile, Manchester City have lost 5 consecutive matches in all their matches, and even their match against Feyenoord yesterday ended badly with a draw, even though Manchester City were ahead in the score. So i think this match will be won by Liverpool, or it could end in a draw. Based on the odds available, it is clear that Liverpool are very favored in this upcoming match, especially because Liverpool is the host for this match.

These are the games taking place today Sunday 1st December Chelsea vs Aston Villa Manchester United vs Everton Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham Liverpool vs Manchester City I will update the scores when the games have ended. Well I think I sometimes post in the other Premier League thread and yours get buried at times. Should keep in the back of my head that there is some highly professional other Premier League discussion thread here Well, as you long as you remember this Premier League thread and post here, I am sure your input will be appreciated I had the live ticker going and thought what is going on... How many times does that happen. The scores were 0-4 then 2-4 and ending with 2-5 and all of it in the first half. The Premier League is such a strong league that when West Ham United scored two goals, it would not have surprised anybody had they scored a third and even a fourth. I was of course joking about Manchester City, they won't get relegated in a hundred years if they kept signing players of that calibre. But this crisis is different. It went from 1st defeat to 2nd to 3rd to 4th including the game against Sporting (4-1), and now the big disappointment against Feyenoord. But the good thing about it is that Manchester City wrote history: they are the first team in the Champions League ever to give away a 3-0 lead from 75th minute onward. Did you see Guardiuola's head and how he scratched himself a bloody nose and said he feels the urge to hurt himself badly? Manchester City are in trouble. Even if they start winning a few games and drawing a few more, the fact remains they no longer frighten nor intimidate opponents. Managers and teams are facing Manchester City knowing they can win if they stay strong and attack their midfield and the reality is Manchester City cannot do anything about it. There is a strong possibility they will miss out on a top four finish this season and miss out on Champions League football next season. As for Guardiola and his head scratching, it is reaching obsessive levels and he needs to stop it. How did he hurt his nose?

I thought City would step up their game against Liverpool but I'm really glad we got 3 full points from them regardless. That early Liverpool press was enough to force an early goal against City before Salah converted from the spot.
Man Utd demolished Everton and already they're already singing the praises of Rúben Amorim? It's two wins in 3 games but this "new" Man Utd team. Their first real test comes next week when they play against Arsenal at the emirates stadium.
What is this Chelsea form? Wow. Feels weird to see them in top 4. I miss the days they were in the second half of the table.

RESULTS:
Chelsea 3-0 Aston Villa Manchester United 4-0 Everton Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Fulham Liverpool 2-0 Manchester City
Chelsea continued their excellent form with another convincing win. Manchester United scored four goals against Everton in a game where Amad was brilliant. Fulham put up a fierce resistance against Tottenham to take a point but Manchester City are looking like a team that is shattered as they lost away at Liverpool.

These are the games taking place today Tuesday 3rd December: Ipswich Town vs Crystal Palace Leicester City vs West Ham UnitedIpswich Town are desperate need for points as they are in the relegation zone but Crystal Palace will probably take all three points. Now that van Nistlerooy has taken up his role as Leicester City manager I expect them to beat West Ham United this evening and I also think they will move away from the relegation zone. RESULTS: Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace Leicester City 3-1 West Ham United Just as I thought would happen, Crystal Palace inflicted a defeat on Ipswich Town and took all three points. Leicester City also won. They had a big game against West Ham United because it was their first under new manager van Nistlerooy and it started with a 3-1 victory. I still believe van Nistlerooy should have been given the opportunity to remain manager at Manchester United at least until the end of the season but the club decided to appoint Amorim instead.

I'm not saying that modern day football isn't more about commercial success and money these days... What I'm saying is with how Man City is set up under Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, Guardiola will never be given the sack unless Guardiola himself says he wants to leave. I think Guardiola will leave either at the end of his extended contract or at the end of this season because he probably needs a new challenge and that is the reason why he might find himself managing a top European club rather than another Premier League club. Or maybe he will manage a country as participating in a Euro tournament or World Cup would bring a different challenge. At the end of his contract, sure... But at the end of the season, no unless he decides to. But the club itself won't give him the sack even if they'll have one of their worst records they'll have in recent years. Soriano and Txiki will stick with him through think and thin because Pep Guardiola is their guy and will always he their guy. The future of Guardiola in the club is in the hands of Guardiola. Man City will always be willing to have him as their manager because Soriano and Txiki will always be there to back him. As for a new challenge, I think he'll manage either Spain or England at some point in the future.

Nice to see Leicester get back to winning ways under new management of Ruud Van Nistelrooy the same man responsible for having the previous manager fired after 2 loses against Manchester United But I wonder how these fixtures will be because the Man is still a Man Supporter/ Legend who has Red blood of course hope it's strictly business For now looking forward to some real football tonight, a City response and how much United can hold themselves against an Arsenal side looking fit.
