Can Luton Town make it a second win at the expense of Tottenham and would it really be that hard to believe that Manchester United will lose at home to Brentford? Ten Hag seems to be on his way towards unemployment. What would the odds be for all six games to be away win?

Bissouma was sent off, Richarlison missed two very good opportunities and Maddison missed one opportunity. If Luton manages to score they will probably hold on and take all three points. If Tottenham manage to win the game today they will be sitting at the top of the Premier League table at least until tomorrow because Arsenal will play against Manchester City tomorrow in that important game. Liverpool also are in action tomorrow.

So far so good Luton Town is losing with 1:0 in favour of Tottenham who I was hoping in the second half due to their one man down they would be playing in the defensive while Luton Town having the numerical advantage will be on the offensive to get the three points but it's quite the opposite.  Jacob brown and Adebayo has been wasting clear cut goal chances for  Luton Town that would have put them on the lead in this game and am not impressed.

Chelsea were losing their game at Burnley but ended up winning 1-4. Manchester United were losing at home to Brentford but scored two late goals to win their game 2-1. Everton won therefore it took pressure away from their manager and it is Tottenham sitting at the top of the Premier League table after they beat Luton 0-1.

There is one late kick-off game being played and after the 15 minutes the score is: Crystal Palace 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Totthenham continue to win. Bissouma's red card towards the end of the first half, which left the team with 10 men, put Totthenham in a bit of trouble but they still managed to win away to Luton Town. Luton Town might be one of the teams I don't expect much from this year. It seems like they can say goodbye to the league this year like they did last year. Totthenham have now taken the lead from City with a game in hand. Although the dominance in the first half was not there in the second half, it was good for them to find the goal in the second half.

I wasn't fazed about today's games primarily because Liverpool isn't playing today but also because there's been nothing really interesting about Chelsea and Man Utd lately. However, both teams did a comeback today – Man United's comeback came in stoppage time. This season, you might think you're winning but end up losing at full time. Comebacks are slowing becoming a norm.

It's football and that's how the game is. But I feel like the reason you expect them to perform better against Chelsea and Man Utd is based on their form this season. Luton should've punished Tottenham but I don't take them serious for the reason that they don't really seem like a team that want to do major things in the PL this season. Leeds had a similar impression last season as well.

Liverpool vs Brighton (Brighton has been a hurdle for Liverpool in recent times - looking forward to see how it plays out now we have a well rounded team).

Arsenal vs Man City - feels like we're going to see what the title race is going to look like. Easily going to be one of the best games of the season.

Chelsea are slowly finding themselves.  I think Chelsea will recover after a good win against Burnley. Despite conceding the first goal themselves, they managed to turn the game around.
Everton managed to get 3 points with 3 goals against Bournemouth. Everton, who won with a good game, increased their points to 7 while Bournemouth still haven't managed to win in the league. I can say that they are one of the teams with the potential to be relegated this year.

Since Luton has had a difficult start to the season, just one victory, six losses, and a draw, I believe the manager needs to focus more on getting the team to work together better. Tottenham did their best work by playing Luton with a man down and winning the game by one goal. When Tottenham was sent off at the conclusion of the first half, I believe Luton had an advantage in the game. Luton is currently ranked 17th on the Epl rankings. Since Manchester City hasn't yet played their game against Arsenal, Tottenham is pleased to be leading the EPL standings for the time being.

Both the games will be good to watch but Arsenal vs Manchester City is the big one. Here are the Premier League games taking place tomorrow Sunday 8th October:

Although they dominated the game from the first minutes, their inability to find a goal prevented them from taking an early lead. The fact that they were down to 10 men at the end of the first half may have also contributed to the fact that we saw fewer goals in this match. Football is a game of goals and we know that whoever scores wins. That's why no matter how well you play, you might not score and you might even lose. Tottenham are doing well with their new manager and I honestly hadn't heard the name of their manager before. I can say that they have surprised me with their performance. After 1.5 years at Celtic, it must have been exciting for him to take charge of such a big team.

Brighton played well against Liverpool to recover from 1-2 down to equalise to end the game 2-2. West Ham never fail to impress, they ended scoring a late equaliser to finish their game against Newcastle United 2-2. Wolves and Aston Villa ended their derby 1-1 but the big game between Arsenal and Manchester City ended 1-0 after a late goal.

It means reigning Premier League champions Manchester City have lost consecutive games this season and sit in third place whereas Tottenham and Arsenal occupy first and second in the Premier League table.

Brighton always a thorn in Liverpool's flesh. Arsenal proved today that they want to contest for the PL title this season. City not creative without Rodri and KDB to man their midfield. I didn't see the West ham and Villa game but looks like nearly all teams shared a point today. I'm only pained that Liverpool didn't win. That late Brighton equalizer though. I was expecting Liverpool to double their lead because 1 goal margin with a defence like yours, something might go wrong if Brighton probes enough.

Arsenal definitely sent out a massive signal to Manchester City and the rest of the Premier League with that win. It is still fairly safe to state Manchester City will be Premier League winners at the end of the season but what a race it will be if Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Brighton, West Ham United and Newcastle United stay in the chasing pack for as long as possible. Maybe Chelsea and Manchester United will join them.

This season could be full of surprises. Brighton are playing very well therefore they deserved the point. I hope they along with West Ham United and Aston Villa make a serious fight to try to end the season inside the top six.

Later on the VAR records related to the red card Chelsea got in the Aston Villa match were also announced. I still think that this incident didn't deserve a red card. I wouldn't have objected to it if the referee showed the red card at the beginning. However VAR's warning the referee about it is completely a scandal.

I hope that the performance of the Premier League referees starts to improve after the national break.

The audio I heard in the source clip you posted was completely different in tone to whatever was going on between the Referee, VAR and his assistant in the Tottenham vs Liverpool game. In that game there was panic and confusion between the officials but in the Chelsea vs Aston Villa game at least they were calm. It still does not negate the fact that even though the reviewed decision was probably correct, it does look very bad in slow motion and still images being shown to the referee.

Say for example the game continued and Gusto did not receive a red, it would not have been the worst decision ever made in comparison with the disallowed Liverpool goal against Tottenham. If you mention the Arsenal vs Manchester City game, it will be another VAR talking point but thankfully that is another one I cannot recall.

Do you recall the Arsenal vs Sheffield United FA Cup game that was replayed after Arsenal players were involved in unsporting conduct? Both teams asked for the game to be replayed therefore the FA sanctioned it.

It is not impossible for the Tottenham vs Liverpool game to be replayed but both teams would have to ask for it. At the moment, Liverpool want it but Tottenham are not interested. Also, if it is replayed it will set a precedent for all VAR errors to result in all games being replayed and that is something they will never allow to happen.

Pushing for abandoning VAR and going back to zero technology will not be possible because a newer generation of fans is growing up with VAR, they have not known a time before VAR. Also, the technology has cost phenomenal amounts to get it to where it is today, they have interests in moving forward with more technology.
