What a terrible performance from Manchester City... This Aston Villa match is surely going to be one of the unforgettable matches for Guardiola. Because this was the most desperate match ever for the team so far. I don't remember Manchester City this desperate in the attacking line. They couldn't even have a single goal attempt in the second half.

I wonder what happened to this team at halftime.    What did Guardiola tell these players at halftime after that bad performance? They just handed over the win to their opponent here and caused my bet to lose at the same time.

I don't really know what's happening in EPL currently, big teams are really dropping form and losing to teams you least expected. Its very much appalling how Newcastle that destroyed Chelsea and others, lost to mere Everton, how Manchester city in their Glory and goal records couldn't secure a single  goal against  Aston villa. You can't just predict the bookies right now cos teams are really unstable, or would I say maybe matches now sold?. Newcastle's own pained me more than ever as I thought they would win Everton easily,  added it in my bet slip to win or draw and only that nonsense game cut my coupon. We move shaa!!.

That's just it, you will have to accept the fact that no team is weak this season, every team both the big and small teams are all competing, I will not just judge Manchester city yet they actually know what to do, everyone is hoping for a come back.
I don't really understand why did everyone underrated Aston villa I don't understand. Aston villa is also a strong team  and let's watch out for the Arsenal vs Aston villa I think after this match we will see the strength of Aston villa, Aston might win let's not just bet because we know the strength of big teams

These are the results of the Premier League games that took place this evening Thursday 7th December:

Everton 3-0 Newcastle United
Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 West Ham United

Everton scored three second half goals, all late goals but they beat Newcastle United. I think Everton will not be relegated even if they have that 10 point deduction. As for Tottenham, they played well against Manchester City but lost the 1-0 lead to lose the game 1-2. Well done to West Ham United for taking the game to their opponents.

Oof...  Newcastle prolly has one of the worst away records in the EPL this season.  :/  I think I'll get a little Tottenham draw no bet even if the line doesn't really look that good.  Will parlay it with a couple of UFC matches. 

It could be a good bounce back spot for the Spurs which aren't really looking that good at home as of late too.  But then again they were against squads with somewhat better away records.

As for the other matches I already mentioned them in a post prior to this one.

It was an incredible game between Manchester City and Tottenham. Thanks to Tottenham's being very productive about scoring goals the game became much more enjoyable to watch. Heung-min Son scored a goal also but he was really unlucky on that own goal. Because his intention was to block the ball to prevent the cross from becoming more dangerous. 

Haaland didn't have a good day as for finishing the goal chances nicely. He wasted unbelievable goal chances but this was still not a hindrance for Manchester City to score 3 goals.

But there was still a draw at the end. Tottenham resisted really well. By the way the referee made a huge mistake in the last minutes. Although Haaland continued after that tackle and sent the ball behind the defense line very nicely the referee just wanted to stop the game and give a free-kick to Manchester City. 

If someone had asked me to predict how the match is going to look like at the end, I would never imagine the match to end that way because in as much as Tottenham Hotspur may seem a bit inform we can never compare them with Manchester City but little did I no that Manchester City will perform that poor, what surprises me was that considering the injured players Tottenham Hotspur has I was actually expecting Manchester City to utilize the opportunity and win them.

They could have turned a corner after their brilliant 3-3 draw against Manchester City but the results are just not going the way Tottenham would like.

Yeah I agree with Aston Villa, and I will place a bet with asian handicap Aston +0.25 just in case the match ends with a draw.
1. I pick Aston because Arsenal must play 4 times in 11 days, against Lutton (done), Aston, PSV and Brighton.

Manchester City Honestly, I really doubt last season's defending champions will compete even though they are only six points adrift of leaders Arsenal, in fact Arsenal and Liverpool have appeared consistent in every match in the last five matches of the two, this is what makes it very difficult for Manchester City to compete in This season, in fact, Manchester City is below Aston Villa even though they are only 2 points behind Astom Villa, however, Manchester City only hopes that at the end of the season, Arsenal and Liverpool will lose concentration in every match so that Manchester City can catch up with their points from Arsenal and Liverpool. Liverpool, at least Manchester City is focused on being in the Champions League Zone so as not to leave the Zone, because that will be detrimental to Manchester City later, that Tottenham Hotspur and MU still continue to overshadow Manchester City because Tottenham Hotspur and MU both have the same points, namely 27 points in take Manchester City who have 30 points from this season..

I didnt blame ManCity nor Guardiola 100% because of the defeat last night, Aston Villa has an impressive record when they play at home.
As we can see in the screenshot below, from the last 12 games at home = they won 11 times.



In the league their winnings percentage at home still 100% (from 7 games).

True, actually Haaland almost score but Aston goalkeeper managed to stop his shoot and his header.

Aston vs Arsenal 1-0 lol! Villa Park will be the graveyard of big teams in this season.

Arsenal fought much better than Manchester City against Aston Villa. However even this performance wasn't enough to get any points from Aston Villa away. Emery still managed to secure the win for his team. Arsenal were nearly scoring the equalizer in the 90th minute but it was disallowed due to handball. What a day for Aston Villa!

Aston Villa are literally unstoppable at the moment especially in home matches. They have won all of their 8th home matches so far. Moreover they are even in the title race by being only 2 points behind the leader Liverpool.    The fans must have got even more excited after the recent results.

After 16 games played, Aston Villa have beaten Manchester City and Arsenal in consecutive games and are sitting in 3rd place in the Premier League table just two behind the leaders therefore well done to them. I think they are serious contenders for a top four finish.

Well done to Bournemouth but Manchester United have to get a new manager because the club is far too big for Ten Hag to handle or even understand. Liverpool have climbed to the top of the table, well done to them.

Aston Villa is currently in the third position in the Premier League table after defeating Arsenal. Unai Emery's presence has added grace to Aston Villa, and he is doing an incredible job with the team this season.

Everton are fighting back after having 10 points deducted by the Premier League, they had a good win against Chelsea. Tottenham finally got back to winning ways by beating Newcastle United. Manchester City came from 1-0 down to win the game 1-2 against Luton Town.

It is certainly looking interesting at the top of the table but after Liverpool, Aston Villa and Manchester City won their games but Arsenal lost theirs but Everton have gone four points clear of the relegation zone even after the points deduction. That is brilliant team work.

Brentford are home to Aston Villa on Sunday, it will be a difficult match but momentum is with Aston Villa, you would expect them to win the game. At the end of the season, Unai Emery could win manager of the year if Aston Villa keep this going.

If anything I think it's a hard pass on Fulham playing against Newcastle United away.  I know they got a couple matches one back to back and Newcastle lost at home vs Milan but in the EPL Newcastle still holds a good record with 7 wins and just a loss.  And they've allowed just 4 goals in against them at home.  On the other hand Fulham doesn't really have a good record in their away fixtures.

After the humiliation against AC Milan in front of their fans, I think they take this chance to bounce back.

Edit:  Just checked the lines...  And the books know.  Just 1.84 for Newcastle to win.  :/

It was, at least for me, unexpected that City and Crystal Palace game was a draw. The weak links in the City chain for me are Ake and Alvarez, both of them have different positive attributes but they lack the speed and athleticism for a team like City, the team plays possession football so they don't really stand out but they are both too heavy. No matter how out of form Haaland is, he plays a big role in the team game and is a constant threat. City have regressed in recent games and with this draw, it seems likely that Manchester City can give away the title this year. But this makes the season more enjoyable.
