RESULTS:

Liverpool 3-1 Sheffield United
Chelsea 4-3 Manchester United

Liverpool managed to get a comfortable win against Sheffield United even though the score was 1-1 before they took charge and won. They go back to the top of the table with a two point lead.

The fun was in the other game that had seven goals. Chelsea scored two very late goals to go from being 2-3 down to winning the game 4-3. All of that happened after Chelsea were leading the game 2-0.

It is too late for either of these teams to make any significant impact in the chasing pack because Chelsea are too far behind and Manchester United are nine points behind 5th place Tottenham therefore their Champions League ambitions are probably over.

Chelsea - United is quite the game so far! We had 4 goals in first half and a lot of miss chances from both teams to score more but I'm sure this second half will bring more goals and I think United might snatch 3 points today.

Liverpool has 3 points in their pockets because they lead 3-1 and game is about to finish and this 3 points are very important for title fight and keep that distance of 2 points between them and Arsenal.

The Chelsea - Manchester United match was really insane...  Whenever I thought about a side to win there was a comeback by the other right after.    None of those comebacks were easy ones surely. The Premier League has got more exciting and fun to watch lately, don't you think?    We started to see many matches with a lot of goals lately.



Palmer was just spectacular! Making a hat-trick and scoring in such late minutes to bring the win to Chelsea were both really admirable work.

^  After Manchester United's loss to Chelsea, I think Ten Hag and his boys are currently so mad rn and they'll prolly try to beat the league leader with the best of their abilities in their next match this weekend.  And this is no ordinary club their up against...  It's Liverpool!  This is a huuuge game and one that they want to win to try and spoil their rival's title run.  I think they'd rather see City or Arsenal win the league than Liverpool.

Another thing about this match is it's in Old Trafford.  That should give United a slightly better chance than what the lines suggest.  Draw no bet at 3.45 for United...  Could be good.

You post sound more like a motivation speech, like someone motivating a monkey to fight a sleeping lion . Don't get your hopes too high, just be wishing that Manchester United is able to hold Liverpool to a draw which is what many pundits are routing for. I'm also in support of a draw because it will be a terrible blow on the Red devils that they will lose to two big teams consecutively. By the way, they are not fighting for anything anymore whereas Liverpool have everything at stake, so who should be begging for a draw, I guess it is Manchester United. So a draw is fair for them and some how manageable for Liverpool even though they will be better of collecting the 3 points.

I think Liverpool will win the Premier League and be crowned champions if they manage to win at Manchester United this weekend. Arsenal and Manchester City will push them all the way but with just nine games remaining, Liverpool are ahead.

This season five Premier League teams will be admitted to the Champions League but it seems safe to state Manchester United will not be able to catch 5th place Tottenham therefore they will play in the Europa League.

Both Nottingham Forest and Everton have had points deducted but both are out of the relegation zone for now. The risk of relegation for either is still a possibility.

Yeah, I can imagine how mad they are right now after losing the match like that. Only a day left for this big match at Old Trafford. It is going to be lovely to watch hopefully rather than a boring one. 

I see the odds like Manchester United have 4.50 for the win while Liverpool have 1.63. In these critical times for the PL championship I really want to bet on Liverpool win here truthfully. However it comes to my mind that Liverpool couldn't beat them in 2 matches this season. Klopp must be prepared for his competitor this time to win. Manchester United are really weak in defense. Liverpool should finally take advantage of that.

Everton at no 16 and burnely at 19 in the premier league table, their today match is another game that has drawn my attention and curiosity, and all I could say is that it is going to be a hot match between the teams and not even to talk about their draw games in their previous matches on Tuesday 2nd of April, hence there is much possibility of today game between everton and burnely to end up a draw match, what are your intake on this?

Everton match against Burnley will sure be a tough match because Everton is not too comfortable in the 16th position and the other way round, Burnley is also looking for a way to come out of relegation area, and checking at the both teams most recent matches that was played during the weekdays, Burnley drew with Wolves while Everton drew with Newcastle united even when they played at away. The both teams looks equal in strength and if the match doesn't end in a draw, then it will be a narrow win from one among the two teams.

In the early kick-off game Manchester City travel to Crystal Palace, if they drop points it will give Liverpool and Arsenal a massive boost as they could open a further gap between them. In the late kick-off game I expect Brighton to get at least a draw against Arsenal.

As for Liverpool, they travel to Manchester United tomorrow while Tottenham host Nottingham Forest in the hope of strengthening their 5th place position for the Champions League next season.

Manchester City and Arsenal have shown they are going all out to try to become champions but I still believe Liverpool will win the title if they draw or win their game against Manchester United today. The crucial wins at the bottom of the table were for Everton and Luton.

Once again Liverpool failed in the task of beating Manchester United...    The first half was completely dominated by Liverpool. Shots were coming at Onana like rain but Liverpool scored only 1 goal in the half. This was going to cost them really a lot. Then Manchester United's comeback came as a shocker. Salah at least helped his team save 1 point but this is a really bad result for Liverpool.

Because now Arsenal have taken the lead from them. The points are equal though but it is still an important advantage.

Arsenal have the toughest fixture though as far as I see. I wonder if we will see Arteta's journey ending up with sadness again...

Lol uh...  No.  If you watched Chelsea vs Man United, you would've seen how United making goals even if they did lose the match.  No taking that to the next match against one of their most hated rivals, how would you think they would play after losing a match that they possibly could've won vs Chelsea?  :/

And keep in mind that the game was in Old Trafford...  Against Liverpool.  That match up has always something to fight for!  Lmao.  So no, it wasn't some kind of motivational speech.  Anybody who has been watching the league could sometimes imagine how it could play out.  And that it did.

I had a good laugh at this when I saw it.    Poor Palmer, trying his best but still the team are in terrible shape...  Palmer is absolutely the best thing that ever happened to Chelsea. He is the most productive player in the squad by a huge difference to others. At least he is showing his skills easier since he joined Chelsea. Because he wouldn't find this much chance at Manchester City that's why he left.

Guardiola must be missing him especially after seeing this performance of him. He tried to convince Palmer to stay first but the attempt was in vain.

^  Was Palmer given a lot of time on the pitch or was the reason he left because he wasn't given enough playing time?  :/  It's the mostly what happens to players who aren't given enough time on the pitch.  It makes them feel less appreciated and prolly somewhat not really part of the team.  So he left...  As for Guardiola missing him, mmm maybe.  But then again Man City has a deep squad.  It's not like he's a Foden or a Rodri in the club.

Anyway, where is JollyGood?  He hasn't logged in for three days.  I hope he's ok...

What a turnaround of events that have taken Manchester City to the top of the Premier League table with a two point lead as Arsenal and Liverpool suffered defeats.

Anyway how many match days to go?  There's like just 4 left...  :/  And just like that I think LFC and Aston Villa gave it to Man City.  And what's sad for Arsenal is I don't think they go thru in the CL.  

It was totally a shocking week... I don't know how Arsenal and Liverpool both managed to lose on the same match week. Manchester City are the new leader and they have gained a really big advantage although there is only a difference like 2 points. However as of now I feel like it will be really difficult for Liverpool - Arsenal to take back the lead. 

Arsenal are doing it once again... They messed up in the last moments of last season and it is like history is repeating itself now. They are better this season but this crucial loss might cost them the championship.

I just want to see Manchester City not winning it, pleease.    It is so boring to see it happen every season.

I do not think that it is about Liverpool and/or Arsenal doing fine, we could probably see them do so well that they could win every single game that they play after this, and yet it could still end up with a situation where it may not be all that easy to handle. I personally believe that we are going to end up with a result where City will win every single game as well.

This is why I believe that we are going to end up with a good result, we should be considering that as an option. I believe that if City ends up winning every game left, that wouldn't be weird, they have been known to go on winning streaks before and they will probably do that again. With a result like that, no matter what Arsenal or Liverpool does, City will get the title.

What message are Liverpool and Arsenal sending out when they lost their games one day after Manchester City had an emphatic 5-1 win over Luton Town? What is even more surprising is that both teams were playing their games at home therefore had the backing of home fans. Though Manchester City are now favourites by most to win the title, there are seven games to go and still many things could change.

It is not over yet, the title race is still open. If Manchester City drop points, I am sure Liverpool and/or Arsenal will take an opportunity to close the gap at the top.
