In the competition of first place in Group C, first halves finished without goals but in second half Switzerland scored four goals and became the new leader. Italy missed a big chance, what a shame for them. They couldn't beat Northern Ireland, they couldn't even play superior. Italy still can pass play-off but it will be stressful for sure. I do expected something like 5 goals, 6 maybe but 10? why? UEFA and FIFA should find a way to fix this issue, maybe allow weak teams to play with 13 players instead? or find an appropriate tournament for them for the soccer sake

England defeated San Marino by a huge 10-0 result today. Actually it is not a surprising result but it is still really big. England saw this match as an opportunity to improve their morale at a high rate I assume. And they reached their goal obviously.    Kane and Alexander-Arnold were the stars of the match. Kane scored 4 goals and Alexander-Arnold made 3 assists. They were already comfortable at the 1st place but they wanted to have a good final for the group stage seemingly.

I expected a tough fixture Poland, but what I still can't believe is Italy's failure to win the game, after having their best summer of the last 10 years or there about, Italy are back to being the team they were before then, struggling at every point of the game, honestly they dominated the whole aspect of the game, but it really doesn't matter since they couldn't finish any of their chances and it has cost them their automatic spot in the next world cup.

Italy already skipped the World cup 2016 because failed the qualification. 

Even with a victory this evening they were probably out, they lost the direct qualification without being able to beat Switzerland 1 time in 2 games.

True italy failed to qualify for the world cup in 2018 they were not doing well they lost to sweden in the play offs but this year was a bit shocking since they were doing really well, unbeaten for a long time plus they won the euro but after that they only won one game in the quallifications in their last five.

dammit, I also thought the would win but they failed to score, this is the 2nd time, that happens all the time, If a team wins a big tournament, avoid making that the reason you're going to put your bet on them, most of the times you get disappointed, I would recommend to avoid betting I favor of Italy in their next matches,

I think FIFA should introduce an elimination preminary stage where countries with poor ranking  like San Marino, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein, Malta, Kazakhstan etc will play each other and get eliminated while the better countries will qualify to play higher ranked countries thus prevent a scenario where a team will lose with a wide goal margins just like San Marino 0 -10 lose against England, France 8 Kazakhstan 0, as well as enabling some players to increase their international goal tallies scoring easy goals against weak opponents, there is a need for readjustment of the fixtures.

Portugal now has perfect company, so I find it hard to believe that Italy will have to face the play-offs. In other news, Switzerland has drawn over Italy to qualify for the World Cup 2022 automatically. Don't you think Jorginho is overrated player? Except for penalties, he's totally inconsistent. He missed penalties in multiple matches that cost Italy the play-off.

All the teams of the really small countries are amateurs.I don't know why do they have to play against professional players?No disrespect for the small countries,but why do they have to participate in these tournaments,since they have zero chance of qualifying for a World Cup or Euro Cup?
I don't know why Engand had to humiliate San Marino with such a defeat.Can't Gareth Southgate just let some younger players play against San Marino and give Harry Kane a break?
