Oh wow, the defending champions Team Spirit has been eliminated by Xtreme Gaming with score 2-1!
Thank you for pointing that out @passwordnow it just didn't sink in yet for most to realize what it meant.

They finished in 9th-12th place, taking $50k home which is quite disappointing because they were the favorites to win it again this TI.

Yeah, that's disappointing because many are expecting them to end in a higher position or become the threepeats but TI is no joke and such achievement is harder now because of the meta and more players becoming better.

Well, it's hard to predict, as always, I would just look at the odds and choose the best. As for me personally, I'll think about it, but betting on Liquid with such odds looks good, although I don't want to advise anyone anything. They are capable of surprising and this may happen in the match with Falcons. Tomorrow we have a very interesting game day, in fact, I can't believe that TI is going so fast, it seemed like it had just started, and there are not many games left, but they will be the most interesting, especially in the lower bracket, where the teams fight to the end otherwise they will fly out. Honestly, it's even hard to say who will win TI13, but Liquids look better than the rest in my opinion.

We've got the same bets for the match winners. I'd also picked Team Liquid and Team Falcons for their respective matches. This is the part where everyone should be more serious with their bets. In the early phase of the TI, I'd be fine betting with the high odds although I know that they can lose. I've only skipped the match for XG and Aurora. Good luck to both of our bets.

Taking +1.5 on Betboom, the odds for Team Falcons to win is just sucks unless you want to put in -1.5 for them. Its TI so anything could happen at this point especially on lower brackets. Statistically, Team Falcons actually has a decent chance of winning 2-0 based on their last games on group stage but I'd totally love to take this chance on BetBoom

Just yesterday I had a chance to watch the games I missed, and among them was the third game of the Heroic vs. Aurora matchup. And I was surprised by how interesting it was. It was unclear who would win until the last minute. I have to say that I love games with Void or Enigma, because it's always very spectacular. Also, Aurora had Tusk kicking a huge Dragon Knight, after which the dome covered the rest of the Heroic team, preventing them from saving him. It was very interesting to watch.
So now I will be following Aurora with great interest.

Falcons are really not in great shape lately and this patch it's not for their style and that is why I do think BetBoom will actually qualify further and eliminate Falcons. It's been a long year with just 3 teams in Dota 2 pro scene and I'm simply tired of Spirit ( good that they are home already ) , Falcons ( because AUI_2000 is a perfect nerd who can break Dota 2 in almost every patch ) and Gaiming Gladiators ( who simply don't know to give up and they always grind that patch in order to have great runs ). However, at this TI none of them are really favorites and I think both Falcons and GG will be eliminate before we even reach semi-finals.

Falcons perform great based on their last run on Riyadh Master which is the recent tournament. This is the reason why they are the favorite on this match despite they are facing BB team which is considered as strong team.

Falcons is so good when they are on lower bracket run on Riyadh Master. I think they can do the same on this TI run.

Yeah that play I think is the turn around of the game. Heroic should play safe at that moment and that might the end of Aurora The International run. They are leading 10K gold at that time and after that is a disaster for Heroic. And I noticed Abaddon offlane at late game is so useless. I don't know why abbadon build Aghanim's Scepter instead of BKB or Pipe. Not sure but the scepter effect for abbadon 1st skill is not working when you're chrono. I think it was working before. I know this because my favorite hero is Abaddon pos 4.

This is why I love Dota, there was a beastly Dragon Knight on the other side, it should be impossible to take him down and take him out of the game.
Tusk only finished Aghanim and with a single kick the game changed   .
Aurora did a good job as a team and Tusk was definitely the MVP of the match. It was also remarkable that Storm never died on the last map.

As for Aurora, they are SEA region team and normally China region team had a hard time against them which was also why they made a solid comeback against Team Zero. Most people would argue that XG should win this easily 2-0 especially after how good XG was against Team Spirit but for anyone that love to take a risk that have a good chance to win then taking Aurora +1.5 could be a good bet though

If it's with Aurora and Xtreme, it's Xtreme gaming that will take the game for 2-0, the odds are pretty low for it and I can't take that so I'd skip on that match.

Aurora's handicap would've been worth it if they're still at the level where they can put on the pressure, now they kind of took a few steps back and don't look as threatening. Xtreme Gaming's handicap at 1.50 is crazy low though, it only takes one bad draft to ruin the map.

The match is not over yet, and I am already angry because they died five at the 8th minute, when they came one by one, while Falcons were five. It just looks like a public or a fixed match, but of course I can't say for sure. This is just my assumption. Therefore, betting on Falcons was the right decision and it's not about a bad draft.

Game 1 just happened and it was very weak. Bet Boom played like a public team and Falcons didn't give them a single chance. It was a push with an aggressive style and even though Bet Boom had a decent pick, they were crushed so hard that they didn't even try to make a comeback.
Malrine was great, his Sand King was as strong as boosters can be among regular players.

Yep it was terrible and I dont think BB could even win the 2nd map. Its currently drafting phase and honestly, I dont really like their draft at all. Im betting on +1.5 Betboom and this is lower bracket T1 so I thought they would be able to atleast win one map against Falcons. You’re right, Aurora failed to bounce back after the failed clash at the top lane when the forced the clash when Jabz got gank and use BKB ult just to escape. They shouldn’t force the clash that time and just be patient. They have a chance to win if they just be patient to kill sniper first and the backline just like what they did on their ancient defense.
