Chelsea is overall a good team, it's just a bit about the turmoil they went through which caused a little bit of trouble and now they are getting back to normal.

They already have good players, good team and likely a good coach too. They don't have to buy new players to be a good team but with chaos in their club, they might need a little bit time to bring everything back to normality, a new normality under a new owner.

Remember, there was a period last year where they couldn't even feel sure about going to their games because their assets were frozen due to ownership sanctions, and they still did it with permissions and all but no team would be great when there is a discussion about them having their assets frozen like that. They have a totally new owner now and they are doing much better but that doesn't change the fact that they are doing something much better in the long run which is all that matters.

This chaos results in uncertainty in their clubs and their players had uncertainty about their future which affected their minds and performances too. Now it looks like things are not too bad for Chelsea and their players. It would be time for their players to actually fight for big aims in this season. Top four in Premier League is important and must be achieved. If they fail with this mission, many players will be sold in the summer transfer.

Champions League is so competitive but Chelsea can fight and in the past, they suddenly won two Champions League. They can repeat it even in this chaotic season.

Chelsea have started to give a good look after the break for the World Cup. The Bournemouth game wasn't hard on paper maybe but it was an important win for Chelsea. If they manage to keep up a good form in the league until the Dortmund matchup, then I will surely be favouring Chelsea to advance. They are already the favourite side according to bookmakers.

I can't use the match against bournemouth as measurement. Chelsea has not yet back to the best performance. I meant we shall see the result between chelsea against manchester city. The match wiil be coming in january.
There will be two matches in EPL and FA cup. We will get two match as judgement for performance of chelsea after world cup. I hope that there will be significant increase like chelsea will able to beat city two times.

Dortmund seem more fragile to me honestly. They have a good attacking line but this might not be enough to beat Chelsea. They will need to make improvements in defense line as well. But it feels like Chelsea can do a similar thing to the one they did against Milan in the group games. 

I don't even think like that. Dortmund has been losing some players. There will be so many changes in the club to happen. I see that chelsea can take it as opportunity to win against dortmund. Im sure that dortmund's formation will be changing again.

Will Marco Reus be ready for the match with Chelsea? In general, Chelsea are better in quality and they have more players at word class level than Dortmund. Players in Dortmund are either too young like Moukoko or old already like Hummels, Reus. Jude Bellingham had a good World Cup 2022 but he is young and can not carry Dortmund in all matches. He is also a midfielder, not a striker and can not really help Dortmund to win matches by his goals.

When it comes to Europe top teams and club you cannot rate Dortmund over Chelsea. Even if they seem balanced right that game will still see Chelsea winning that game. Jude Bellingham has been linked away while Kudus if Ghana has been linked to replace him at Borrussia Dortmund. Moukoko hasn't been signed by Dortmund yet? IMO, I see that Potter is still doing experiments for the right formation and strategy for his squad. Graham Potter's team haven't shown their best performance yet, that's why Potter is still doing some experiments for the most appropriate formation. and as we all know, that the second half of the season has just begun. Potter still has plenty of time to prepare his squad for the round of 16 match later, while also waiting for several of his players to recover from their injuries.

As for Dortmund, Edin Terzic's troops are having a bad season in their domestic league competition and are not much different from the current state of Chelsea. even reportedly, some of their star players will leave at the end of this season. for sure, we cannot compare or predict this match later. because anything can still happen, Dortmund also still has the opportunity to improve their performance. the round of 16 match will still have a long time lag, which is certain that these two teams will prepare their troops for the match later.

I doubt with the performance from chelsea. This club didn't have any striker that was contributing a lot to the club. I would not even count aubameyang as striker for chelsea caused by he did nothing for the club. It can be considered as failed transfer for chelsea to sign him. The problem will be also happening with dortmund. There have been many rumours about various big clubs interested to sign some of key players. that will be greatly affecting the performance from dortmund.

Depends on how they are going to be by that time. The reality is that Dortmund hasn't shown any recovery at all and they are still not anywhere near where they should be in Bundesliga, meaning they are still not playing great.

But, if we are talking about a team that could be beating them, then Chelsea is a great candidate for it because they are playing a lot better if you look at their current form compared to start of the season as well. I know it's not easy to separate the two from each other, but Chelsea of the last 4-5 games and Chelsea of the first 10 games is not the same team and that could be the difference maker between them.

Both teams have a very good attack, but in defense I think Chelsea should have an advantage. I suppose that Chelsea can win their home match and draw with Dortmund away, in general I think that Chelsea is stronger than Dortmund at the moment. And the fact that Chelsea will play the first match away is to some extent also an advantage, because they will play the second match at home. Let's see, the Premier League teams are already playing, and the Bendesliga is still resting, this is also not good for Dortmund.
