Yes no doubt of what you have said but you should also put into consideration the team that they will be playing against which is Real Madrid, this club are the league favourite and they are in the second place in their league. I don't think that Liverpool will be able to shock the world by defeating Real Madrid on that day.

Although Chelsea has had a bit of a rough domestic record, I still think they are a quality squad. Given the tight timeframe, it's unlikely that the adjustments they've been making will take immediately to take effect. Chelsea has the capacity to do well in the Champions League, even in spite of that, IMO

I agree that there is always a chance for a shocker and Liverpool is a good team in its core and even though they have been terrible at the league so far, it's clear to say that they could always have one amazing game where they can beat the other team.

They are still capable of doing that and have the players to do that, Salah may not look great all season, but he is still Salah and could end up playing amazing for just one game and get them the win. So all in all, there is still a chance for Liverpool to win this series and go to next stage. However, if we were to talk about "likely" result, we have to agree that Real has been playing much better this year and could win it.

I won't say they will be easily beaten by Madrid in the match but in the end the winner will still be the same even though Liverpool is a strong club.
At the moment with the conditions and with the h2h of the two teams obviously it's a bit difficult to say Liverpool will come out victorious.
They have to improve their attack line well if they really want to do that, but until now the performance of Nunez and Salah in Liverpool's attack line is still very under-performing,

Benfica are also an attracting team in the Champions League this season. Because they finished a group with PSG as the leader and have drawn the attention of people to themselves. They didn't lose even for once against PSG in both matches in the group as well. This makes them a team that the other teams should be careful about. Club Brugge also don't deserve to be underestimated but they are still weaker than Benfica I'm afraid. Maybe they can keep Benfica away in the first leg in Belgium but I think Benfica would finish the job in the second leg. This matchup shouldn't be harder for Benfica as they were successful against even PSG.
