I also don't expect Norway to qualify for Euro 2024. Scotland are doing even much better than Spain. Norway are competing in a group like this now so it is too hard for them to make it to the main tournament. 

I doubt with Haaland has chance for participating in UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany looking on current standings position qualifier group stage difficult to eliminated Scotland and Spain national team who stand on 1st and 2nd place awhile, exactly for Scotland have one leg for UEFA Euro 2024 after having 15 points and get difference 8 points from Norway teams on 3rd standings position. Actually Haaland is golden generation but only with his club and difficult for more contribution for his country, not really bad with Norway teams composition because there are still have Arsenal player Martin Ødegaard and realistic target by finish 2nd placed but we have miss for watching Spain national teams in Europ 2024 if Norway qualified from group stage.

This time Norway was unfortunate that they got placed in an extremely strong group. And who expected Scotland to perform the way they are doing now? Spain has been pushed down to the 2nd position, as young Scottish players such as John McGinn, Scott McTominay and Callum McGregor are completely dominating Group A of the qualifiers. Norway may still qualify for the Euro Cup on some other occasion. If not in 2024, then definitely in 2028 or 2032. But I am sad that we may never see them in the FIFA World Cup. With such pathetic defense, they are not going to qualify anytime soon.

Rikafip made some very interesting observations. Erling Håland is just 23 years old. Martin Ødegaard is just 24. Their attack-midfield looks quite OK. The issue with Norway is with their defense. But similar to the emergence of Håland and Ødegaard, there is a good chance that in due course of time some yong player may emerge and fill the gap in their defense as well. If that happens, then their team balance will get much stronger and they will be able to perform much better in both the Euro qualifiers and the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Halaand might be a beast at the club level, but with the national team, he doesn't seem to get much support from his teammates. He appears somewhat out of place on the squad, and the weight on his shoulders is truly immense, making it difficult for him to produce something extraordinary for Norway.

I also believe Nagelsman can make Germany a strong team again. Although it won't happen in a short time like to appear perfect at UEFA EURO 2024. He still needs time to adapt and find tactics and formations that suit the squad that Germany has. But I believe Nagelsman is a good coach for the German squad and I hope to give him enough time at least until the next world cup.

I have a sense that Nagelsman is just a stop-gap solution for the German football federation before Euro 2024 after parting ways with Flick. The ultimate aim is still to secure Jurgen Klopp for the long run.

Remove Messi from Argentina squad in Qatar and they wouldn't reach 1/8 final and maybe not even qualify for the WC. He of course didn't do it alone, but they are completely different level of team without him.

The problem is that when you score 25 goals in nearly 25 games, everyone starts to expect you to keep scoring like that. So lets assume that you start a season, and then in the first 25 games you scored 25 goals, that means if your next 25 games you score 15 goals which is still great, you are not "as good" anymore. That's his problem, he started his City career amazingly, he started it so well that it wasn't sustainable and of course his averages dropped to reality levels, because it was already a shocking thing for him to score that much.

In the end, when he dropped to realistic levels, people started to question his abilities. This is why he looks like he is not pulling his weight when he plays there anymore.

Haaland cannot join the Norwegian national team in the Euro 2024 qualifiers because he is suffering from a groin injury so the decision of the coach and management of the Norwegian national team may be correct because forcing Haaland to play might result in a more serious injury.
But without Haaland presence Norway looks less than optimal and I think the front line is still not sharp enough to launch attacks.

It's not going to matter anyway. The chances that Norway may qualify either for Euro 2024 or the FIFA World Cup of 2026 is minimal. They are not in a good position as far as the Euro qualifiers are concerned. In Group A, they are now at third place behind Scotland and Spain. I also don't understand what is the benefit Haaland is going to get in representing Norway. He should rather focus on his role with Manchester City F.C.

I also know that there is very small chance for Norway to qualify for Euro 2024 or the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but at least having Haaland as one of Norway core players can make the fans and support for Norway even greater even though in reality it is very impossible to catch up or even overtake Spain and Scotland.
Having Haaland play for the Norwegian national team can also provide greater enthusiasm or confidence for all players because Haaland is young player who can really help Norway in every match to have chance of winning.

Even though there are no promising benefits or no chance of qualifying for the main tournament at least there is sense of pride when playing for the national team and of course Haaland will get place with full respect there.

Well that's their problem, not Haaland's, or even Norway team. In the first 5 matches of Euro qualifiers he scored 4 goals in 5 games so I don't think its bad at all. There's only so much that he can do, and their group is tough as well so until Norway manages to get into 2nd pot, they will have issues reaching big tournaments as qualifications in Europe are tough.

It is not Håland plus 10 ordinary players. At this point, they have one more quality player in addition to Håland. So it is more like Håland + Ødegaard + 9 ordinary players. They have some younger players coming up, but I am not sure whether they are of the same quality as Håland/Ødegaard. Jørgen Larsen is 23 -years old (same as Håland) and has performed well for Celta Vigo. Then they have Leo Østigård, who plays for Napoli. Once again, he is also 23-years old. But only time will tell whether any of these players will rise to the same level as that of Håland/Ødegaard.

Yeah.. 24 participating nations, and 4-team groups mean a lot many matches. I don't know abut the total number of matches, but I expect them to be in the vicinity of 60-70. Given this, the first batch represents around 20,000 tickets per match. Given the capacity of stadiums in Germany, this is a small fraction of available tickets. Olympiastadion Berlin alone has a capacity of 74,461. Munich Football Arena also has a similar capacity, and I don't believe that any of the stadiums that host this tournament has a capacity of less than 40,000.

We are on the last week with league games before the national break. There are going to be Euro 2024 qualifier games between October 12 and October 17.

When I look at the games we have in this time period firstly I see a Croatia - Turkey game there which could be interesting. Turkey have had serious level of drop in their effort level recently. This caused their manager Stefan Kuntz to get sacked also. Vincenzo Montella is their new manager but I'm not satisfied with this replacement. Because I would have expected to see a Turkish manager to see a better effect on the team. I hope that I become wrong about this.

Our job is going to be really difficult against Croatia. Croatia have been given @1.69 odds to win the game. I feel like we will lose here so Croatia can be given a chance to bet on.

Haaland is a very important player for Norway, but football is not a game played with just one person. All 11 players need to be important and play well. In basketball, sometimes one player can turn the match around on his own, but it is impossible to see this in football. It will require efforts from other teammates as well as Haaland. There is no other chance for Norway.

Teams who behave like one-man army can be very effective at times. We have seen examples multiple times in the past. Cristiano Ronaldo - Portugal, Goran Pandeev - North Macedonia, Gareth Bale - Wales and Mohammad Salah - Egypt are recent examples. And in case of Norway, they do have some young players who can support Håland, such as Martin Ødegaard. The issue with Norway doesn't lie in being a one-man army. Rather than that, their real issue is in having a very weak defense and poor team bonding.
