It seems that my personal rule (practice) is that if I can get all of my pushup sets done prior to midnight UTC, then I will submit my pushup report on the same day, and so I have had several days in a row that I have been able to accomplish banging out all of my pushup sets before midnight UTC.

From now on, I will try to make all my reports before the end of the day with the forum time. So it looks smoother in the table.
Today I added another 120 push-ups, again from 6 sets. If Bitcoin passes 110k, I will increase the number of daily push-ups to 140. We are not always pushing the Bitcoin price, let Bitcoin rise a little bit and motivate us to do more. Smiley

I'm still a newbie here and I agree with this push_up challenge,
 doing 100 push_up can lead to increased strength in the upper body, particularly in the chest shoulders and triceps etc.
So it struck me that this push_up challenge were the perfect lock down move for me to master they required no equipment and very little space

Well I'm starting my push_up challenge on fabuery(31_1_2025)

Been into this for sometime now, but quite unsteady. Buh I'll love to continue with you guys here, maybe having to report daily would be a kind of motivation to be consistent.

Been having waist pain, so I believed it had something to do with my current weight and I started a weight loss journey with fitness. So I adjusted my feeding routine to fewer times, started early morning Jogs, continued my 50 pushups  morning and night and used a massaging balm. I think I'm feeling much better now.

Quick push-ups today as I've been pretty busy with other things.  2 sets with the first being 65.  I feel better and better going above 50 push-ups in a single set, but it still starts getting rough for me above 60.  I think I could probably push it to 80, but 100 still seems like a pipe dream.  I also see as I count down my final days to a year that I started this challenge on February 2nd, so it looks like 2024 was a leap year and I won't be able to say I completed a year until I finish 366 days.  So...  3 more days...

 65 per set? That's a great one. Still finding it difficult to by pass my normal daily 120. My number per set is not static. Today might be 20×4sets, then complete with 10×4. Some other days might something else. I don't actually have a specific pattern of completing my 120 push ups daily. Bt 65 per set as u achieved, I think it's a great feat. And then the 100 a set, that will be Wow.  But for me, I think it's high time I plan towards beating 120 per day. Yea. But today still remains 120..

I did try a new pattern today with a six sets pushups with a varying minutes interval. I did 25, 25, 20, 20, 15 and 15 pushups and I regulated the intervals in between to 3, 5, 5,  7  and 3 minutes interval.

I did try a new pattern today with a six sets pushups with a varying minutes interval. I did 25, 25, 20, 20, 15 and 15 pushups and I regulated the intervals in between to 3, 5, 5,  7  and 3 minutes interval.

Anyone wanting to increase their number of pushups per day might want to consider anywhere between 1-3 hours between pushup sets, so then you might be able to do 30 or more pushups per set.

I also started doing split sets in early December, so in stead of doing 5 sets in a day, I do 5 split sets, which is part of the reason that I went from between 100-200 pushups per day around 10 months ago, and then I advanced to around 250 pushups per day in July-ish, and then my pushups per day have been between 300 and 400 since December.

It seems that my newest pushup-related goal since early December has been to try to catch my total pushup quantity to the bitcoin price, and surely the bitcoin price has been quite elusive, and even though my number of total pushups had crossed over the 200-WMA at some point in August (around 38,000), it has been quite difficult to catch up to the BTC spot price - even though I was getting close to reaching BTC's spot price (I think within right around 4,500) just before the early November Trump pump.

Tentatively, I am thinking that even if I catch BTC's spot price, this whole year it will be quite difficult to keep up with it.. even though surely, that is speculation on my behalf, yet at the same time, it can be difficult to know about either this year or if there might begin a bear market at some time, perhaps late in 2025 or in 2026, and maybe bear markets might be different from past ones, it can be difficult to know in advance, which surely is part of the reason why we ongoingly speculate about these kinds of BTC price related matters.

By the way, another interesting dynamic is that between about mid 2022 until now the 200-WMA had gone up from about $10 per day at its lowest points in late 2022 and perhaps getting up to going up around $45 per day at various higher movement points, and in recent times, it has been going up in the upper $20s to mid $30s per day.. and surely there may well start to get to be times in which the 200-WMA will start to go up at a faster rate, and largely between mid 2022 until now it went from lower $20ks to its current nearly $22k value, so largely doubling in the last 2.5-ish years.

The BTC spot price has been going up much more in recent times, including that I have been trying to catch up my pushups to the BTC price, and so we know that so far in BTC's history it has come back to touch upon the 200-WMA, especially in bear markets, yet in bull markets it may well not even get within 25% of the 200-WMA, and in part because of those historical dynamics it seems to me that any of the guys who have pushups within about 25% of the 200-WMA (that is right around 33k pushups), should be able to catch up and surpass the 200-WMA as long as they keep mostly averaging out to around 100-ish pushups per day or more, and perhaps even at some point the BTC price will come back down to either touch the 200-WMA or at least get within 25% of the 200-WMA.. but yeah, these might not be goals that any guy is going to want to have, and surely some guys might not even like the idea of doing (or writing down) more than 100 pushups per day, and surely I don't have any problem with those kinds of tensions (or peer pressures) to feel compelled to have to do so many daily pushups, especially since averaging out 100-per day of daily pushups is already quite a obligatory feat that several guys have been doing.

I'm kind of amazed when I see some guys reporting 65 pushups or more at a point, at the same time I would love to inquire if you'll do it low and fast or move down until your chest is almost touching the floor and then move up until your arms are straight up cos I'm thinking it's  more difficult and tasky when done slowly.

Perhaps your consistencies are paying off and your bodies are already more accepting of the exercise. I can hardly go above 25 at a go for now so I achieve 50 in two or three sets for a session, but I believe I'll get better in due time though.

It's been long I reported here honestly for quite some

weeks now I have not really been doing push-ups I was

somehow down but am gradually recovering I will be

Thanks.  I did 75 the other day in a set.  I think that is my personal best.  For some reason I thought I had done 80 in a set before, but when I searched my post history for "80" I didn't find any claims, so it must have only been in my head.  I'd like to do 100 at least once before I stop going so hard with this challenge, but I don't know if I'm capable of it.  I need a rest day at the very least in the near future.  Helped a friend move some furniture yesterday and am feeling it a bit.

I prefer completing my push-up tasks  before leaving for my daily activities due to the nature of my job. In order not to remain on the bench, I report the much I'm able to achieve within the space of time I could alot before heading out. So there's no way I can run a set of 1-3hours interval in order not to end up with only the first set.

Even though I was almost trying to doubt the possibility of averaging the price of bitcoin by push-up anytime soon, I won't be ignorant of the power of consistency and bear run. Anything can happen and getting the value of bitcoin in push-up would be thrilling.
Bitcoin is currently at over 105k. With a daily pushups of 300 for the next 43 days streak, you will be very close to achieving the bitcoin price. But if Trump effects gets so positive, then you may require few more days to hit your milestone.

It was quite difficult to follow because it was more than 2 sets that I did although it may still be forced but in the end there is a process that must be followed so that the body is not too burdened.

I'm kind of amazed when I see some guys reporting 65 pushups or more at a point, at the same time I would love to inquire if you'll do it low and fast or move down until your chest is almost touching the floor and then move up until your arms are straight up cos I'm thinking it's  more difficult and tasky when done slowly.

Perhaps your consistencies are paying off and your bodies are already more accepting of the exercise. I can hardly go above 25 at a go for now so I achieve 50 in two or three sets for a session, but I believe I'll get better in due time though.

Each guy needs to determine for himself the extent to which he values quantity over quality and/or what standard of pushup that he is going to do and/or report.

For sure there is value in consistency in order to attempt to measure our own improvements (if any), yet for sure, there is no guarantee that guys** are doing pushups that other guys would deem as "acceptable."

In the very beginning, I certainly emphasized quantity over quality, and I likely still error on the quantity end of my own weighing of preferences, yet over the last year, I have also increased my own measurements that have allowed me to gravitate somewhat more in the direction of improving  my own quality, yet  I still am no stickler in  regards to what guys have to do, since we truly are going to have different ideas, and there is almost no fucking way that I would expect guys to need to prove their pushups beyond largely what we have been doing and guys choosing the extent to which they describe their pushup particulars, which is also optional.

By the way, since the beginning I slowly gravitated up to 5 pushup sets per day, and  since about mid-October, I have purposefully included one slow set per day.. my other pushup sets are tending to be fast and right around 1 second per pushup.  My slow sets tend to range mostly between 3-5 seconds per pushup with most times falling right around 3.5-ish seconds per, and so that daily slow set will tend to include 20-25 pushup per set with around 75 to 95 seconds for the total time of that daily slow set.

I prefer completing my push-up tasks  before leaving for my daily activities due to the nature of my job. In order not to remain on the bench, I report the much I'm able to achieve within the space of time I could alot before heading out. So there's no way I can run a set of 1-3hours interval in order not to end up with only the first set.

Even though I was almost trying to doubt the possibility of averaging the price of bitcoin by push-up anytime soon, I won't be ignorant of the power of consistency and bear run. Anything can happen and getting the value of bitcoin in push-up would be thrilling.
Bitcoin is currently at over 105k. With a daily pushups of 300 for the next 43 days streak, you will be very close to achieving the bitcoin price. But if Trump effects gets so positive, then you may require few more days to hit your milestone.

I understand that there can be practicality considerations in regards to times and places in which it works to do pushup sets, even though pushups could be done in a variety of places, it is not always practical.

Surely regarding catching up to the bitcoin price, we tend to have all kinds of extremes in BTC price movements, yet for sure, I am not expecting that there is any requirement for a down before up, even though if I keep moving my amount up, then it becomes more and more likely that at some point my total quantity of pushups will end up touching the BTC price... but yeah, there could be some kind of a BTC price movement (and surely it does not even need to be attributable to Trump, even if that self-absorbed nutjob may well want to claim credit for any such BTC pump that might end up playing out).

In other words, I am not really presuming any particular direction in the BTC price, yet I am considering that if I am able to keep up my quantity of daily pushups, it becomes nearly inevitable that my total number of pushups is going to touch upon the BTC price, and earlier I had suggested the odds to be quite great for such touching to end up happening in March or April, and sure it could happen sooner, but I would be surprised if it did not end up happening in March or April.. and truly a lot of bitcoiners probably would prefer scenarios in which my pushups do not at any time touch the BTC price between now and the end of April.  By the way, I show my present projections of pushups to be just over 120k pushups by the end of April, so long as I can keep going somewhere in the ballpark of my present rate (which truly there is no guarantee of my being able to continue that, either).  Who knows if this thread will still be open by the end of April, also?

I did 75 the other day in a set.  I think that is my personal best.  For some reason I thought I had done 80 in a set before, but when I searched my post history for "80" I didn't find any claims, so it must have only been in my head.  I'd like to do 100 at least once before I stop going so hard with this challenge, but I don't know if I'm capable of it.  I need a rest day at the very least in the near future.  Helped a friend move some furniture yesterday and am feeling it a bit.
It was quite difficult to follow because it was more than 2 sets that I did although it may still be forced but in the end there is a process that must be followed so that the body is not too burdened.

OgNasty had already mentioned that there are 366 days in 2024 (based on February 2024 having 29 rather than 28 days), so therefore he has two more pushup days to reach one full year of pushup days.

I didn’t start out doing 65+ in a set. After nearly a year of push-ups daily I’d like to think my form is perfect. I couldn’t go any lower without laying down and I couldn’t go any higher without a joint in my mouth. After all, this is about being strong, not appearing to random strangers on the internet as strong. I’m sure I could do a set of 100 extremely easily if I didn’t care about form or range of motion. Maybe that will be my cheat code for my last day to achieve my goal.  Cheesy
