Chelsea and Benfica are almost equal in performance but if I have to choose one to bet on, I prefer Benfica to take a big risk for a big gain. Benfica have quite creative strikers and have quite strong contributions.

Chelsea need to change their initiative in this game because if they feel it will be business as usual then they should be ready to be eliminated before full time. Benfica played a direct football in their last game meaning that they read the game and played it as the opponent gave it to them but going head to head against the English side Chelsea, I believe they too will play more of the attacking then they did against Bayern Munich because in that encounter after the opening goal they played less of the attack, now in this round of 16 game they have to go allout because if they relax it will be all about Chelsea so is best to attack than defending till full time.

Well, I ended up placing the bet on Palmeiras with odds of 2.2. The Palmeiras vs Botafogo match is first, followed by Benfica vs Chelsea. Depending on how the Palmeiras match goes, I’ll set the price relevant to my bet for the second match. That said, I still believe btts would be the best option for this bet. The only open question is the price. Keeping my fingers crossed for Palmeiras to come through.

If we talk about head to head, Chelsea is more favored because in the previous three meetings Chelsea always won by a narrow score. However, that happened more than a decade ago and now everything is different which in my opinion if we judge the meeting of the two teams is very unreasonable because Benfica is currently very impressive and leading the standings of group C which means Benfica is not an easy opponent. And both teams will definitely score goals and the victory will end with a narrow score and a draw is also possible and will end with extra time or a penalty shootout to determine who can advance to the next round. Palmeiras and Botafogo are also difficult to predict because this will be a serious match but with great care, and in the Club World Cup match it is indeed not easy to predict and many surprises occur. I knew something was off about some of these teams performances...in short the bad results could be a protest result just like it's done by players to get a coach sacked by playing below par and losing games...so these players didn't even want to play in the first place as they wanted to enjoy their holiday's and it's a valid point!

Wow are you serious? in the last match Madrid showed real changes! 3-5-2 Xabi Alonso worked more effectively than expected, Vini Jr appeared without bringing his ego and Touchameni who was placed further back also succeeded in carrying out his duties. The h2h tells about how Palmeiras often struggled, and rarely won against Botafogo. So i replace it with BTTS instead of betting on Botafogo.

You are actually not far from the truth here, because anything that makes benfica thinks that by seating back without attacking much, that they might snatch a winning as they did against Bayern Munich, they will be punished brutally because Chelsea and Bayern Munich doesn't attack in the same way, so holding Chelsea will prove to be more difficult than Bayern Munich game that was a success to them.

Then as for Chelsea, I believe that they will show benfica the much needed respect in this game because it will be a terrible decision on their own part if they looks down on benfica and start playing their reserve team, but if I will be staking on the final outcome of this game, I will be going for a direct winning to Chelsea because by looking at their head2head record, Chelsea always comes out on top, so this one here wouldn't be an exception in my own point of view.

I'm expecting a Manchester City v Real Madrid finale to tell the truth. 

There is still a long way until that round, yes. Unless we see big favourites being eliminated early this is a quite likely draw to be seen.

Other alternatives can be PSG or Bayern Munich in Real Madrid's place. It depends on how serious they take it. They had better do so I think because the winner gets around $110m in total during playoffs. 

Honestly, I still don't see a clear favorite to win this competition. I know that Manchester City is playing well and has won all their games, but the South American teams are managing to surprise in this tournament. That's why in my opinion any team that has made it to the next round can win this tournament. They just need to be lucky enough to see all the strong opponents face each other early on and eliminate each other. Real Madrid hasn't convinced me so far, especially without Mbappe.

Real Madrid vs Man City is the dream final, but before that Real Madrid still have to get rid of Juventus first and if they succeed they will most likely face PSG in the semifinals. Real Madrid is doing very well and I believe so much well that they will win Juventus, if Manchester city could defeat Juventus then real Madrid can also do that, what I'm seeing is that real Madrid and Manchester city wants to use this competition to recover or make up, however one team will only lift the trophy and I'm not yet sure the team that will do that.
The match between Manchester City and Juventus really surprised me I was thinking Juventus had more chance to win because when I looked into there last five head to head Juventus has won them 3 times and they draw 2 with Manchester City so I thought Juventus knows exactly how to play and win Manchester city, that win by Manchester City is truly a sign that Manchester city has really improved.

If real Madrid and PSG should meet the match will be very tough however I will still give winning to PSG because right now PSG is more inform than real Madrid, I know anything can happen but if I'm to bet on it I will bet on PSG to win.

Wow finally Man City won 5-2, I thought the match would be very competitive but Juventus were very weak as an opposing team, Juventus did not expect such a poor performance from the team players. Possession and Passes Man City were far ahead, Juventus managed to take only 5 shots in the entire game. I don't think we should judge Juventus performance against Manchester city to rate if they will perform well or not let not judge with just a game unlike Manchester City that won last season there performance was poor despite they qualify for the UEFA Champions league at the beginning of the season they did well until they start performing badly now that they won Juventus should will also conclude they will perform well this coming season? If it was few months ago, I would have already written Real Madrid off if the encounter PSG, but now I'm not going to write them off because I know they will fight even if they lose.

I feel like the Palmeiras vs Botafogo clash will be a lot more even than it looks on paper. Sure, Palmeiras had a solid group stage, but Botafogo came through a much tougher group and held their own against PSG and Atletico. They only conceded to Griezmann in the 87th minute. Seems like there's a whole lot of money to be made by teams from this ongoing FIFA Club world cup. Apart from PSG and Bayern Munich that won their individual leagues, the rest of European teams that made it to this stage so far has actually made lots of money that they don't make from the league or even champions league games at this stage. I got the news of Real Madrid making a profit of $48.2 million so far in the competition. I wonder what the winner of this competition will make in total, I'm just curious.
