We need to make them understand that Karma is a coin (and not only a coin!) with a future. That by mining Karma now they are in a similar position to the guys mining Bitcoin 4 years ago. And that we are much more than the pump-and-dump coins: we have a purpose and that will make us be alive in 5 years. We should make a high resolution PDF poster with this information (we can design it in PowerPoint). We will need a poster anyways for when we go to cryptocurrency conferences. Can someone do the design for a powerpoint poster?I will then do the writting for a first version, to be later approved and changed by the other members. |

So I updated my wallet from v0.8.6.2.4-g000002-beta to v0.8.6.3-beta. The new wallet syncs without problem but it shows 0 coins. Why?
When opening the old wallet all my coins are still there.
The folder where the wallet.dat file changed name. It as "Karmacoin" (C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Karmacoin). Now it is "Karma" (C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Karma). Backup your wallet with your old wallet (tho one that shows the coins). Place the file with the old wallet (name should be "wallet.dat") inside the "Karma" folder, and start the new wallet. After synchronization with the network all your coins will be in your new wallet. Good luck! i f your new wallet does not have any coin and only old wallet does then follow this steps:
copy "wallet.dat" file from old wallet. go to destination folder of the new wallet. should be /roaming/karma pasta and overwrite the "wallet.dat" of /roaming/karma with the old wallet.dat of /roaming/karmacoin ( make sure your have no coin in the new wallet because this will delete this wallet data) run the wallet if it doesn't start synching in few mins then hover over with your mouse and then click help - debug window - console copy pasta these two nodes one by one and close the window addnode altcoin.dk:9432 add addnode altcoin.dk:9436 add wait a few minutes. up to 20 mins after full synch you can then send your coins to the new address Thanks It worked!. NOTE To ADMIN: I downloaded karma-WindowsQT-0.8.6.3.zip from the windows icon below the heading "Download your wallet now"! |
Maybe I should code a Tipping bot, instead of these well-known DDos bots. I would tip your Wallets until these were overloaded.

The information about the articles on yahoo finance (and other finance websites) and about our ongoing projects (lill.com, hireplex, webspond) should all be VERY VISIBLE on the first page of this thread. Maybe its a good idea to put information about our projects (lill.com, hireplex, webspond) on the image that refers to the migration to the x11 algorithm, so that it is 100% visible.This will at least make people that do not know about them search our thread (or websites) to learn about our projects. This is what attracts investors. If we play our cards right (and I believe we will) Karmashares and the Karma ecosystem will be valued in hundreds of millions, if not billions! I do not see any coin with half the ideas we have. |

But at least our projects (Hireplex, LILL.com, Webspond) should be more visible, so that all the possible newcomers to Karma will be intruduced to the projects from start.
As many people say: "First impression is what is most important".
Referencing them in the x11 image is my suggestion.

What happens if someone has a lot of KARMA in your wallet, but ... I do not read every day topic here or the official forum??? Most likely you will lose everything just because your wallet is updated and because there is time and opportunity to read the time.
Given the switch to X11 each algorithm must be upgraded wallet? But not everyone will do it, because there is time and opportunity to follow the latest news. What can we do to get notice of an upcoming update to the new wallet to an investor??

Depends on how competent are the guys behind the exchange. I would not trust them my coins until they migrate to the new wallets. But that is way I'm... Migrating your coins to a local wallet (running on your computer) makes much more sense to me. Just make sure you are running the new wallet (0.8.6.5). |

To allow that to happen would be a very bad decision. |
