I never mined any coin. I decided to mine KARM, when X11 will start. I joined pool http://karma.mpos.altcoin.dk/ and there is only 1 other person. I have some DigitalOcen server with 99% of CPU free, so I want to let it work. My question is, do you have any expectation about pure CPU mining profitability on KARM?  I dowloaded DRK miner (minerd), as it supports X11 CPU mining. Will it work for KARM? Will someone joint this awesome pool: http://karma.mpos.altcoin.dk ? Thanks

the new wallet are already ready to mine x11. your hashrate will not be accepted until block 255000. buy you can try to solo mine .  altcoing good can update you if his pool is updated or not.

i would advise you to start mining in his p2pool as we will try to get people mine from p2pool. We want to support p2pool mining only to avoid %51

I was checking for new wallet, and there is only Windows and Mac wallet. Where can I found linux wallet?

yes i have x11-stratums running in test here.

after block 254,999 and before block 255,000 i will switch from scrypt to x11. automagically. _minimal_ downtime

both mpos and p2pool are ready with backup stratums on both (backup stratums in another datacenter than primary stratums).

i can handle up to 16,000 clients on the current setup.

doing good is good.

Just a note....the mining guide examples that's published on Reddit currently says it's port9430 in several places.
Could lead to some confusion for new Karma miners.

Got my asics running on the P2pool getting the last bit of good scrypt Karma, will switch them to another scrypt coin at block 254,800~254850.
The 4- GPU rig is  already mining X11 ( got a handle on settings a few days ago, getting 1.2 MH each on H7850 Twin Frozers and cool running @52~56 degrees C) on a Pyramid coin pool. All address for P2Pool is in config and ready to switch on.

installing new wallet in prep for fork.
I thought copy and paste current wallet.dat saved a long resynch.
But in the new wallet it started from 24 weeks behind with about 11,000,000 less karma.
Good thing I copied old wallet roaming file completely.
Or will this all synch up and be good?

getting to the end of synch and all my karma chickens are home.

Amazing job on this, love the look and what an earlier poster mentioned about the spaces instead of commas.

could you please stop scrypt mining at 2 hrs before the fork. or say 150 block from 255000 and open up x11 mining? so we can start getting ready

this will annoy previous pool miners but we need to have a separate group of people mining x11 way before the hard fork block to have a healthy hashrate.

it's not possible to mine karma with x11 before block 255k. your mining software should pick up the change right away when it's switched.... as in instantly.

If your sgminer supports scrypt you can already mine there, yes.

Wait for the sync to end. All of the coins will be there.
