In order for dmd for 1000 each we need some big investors dmd has to be accepted by alot of merchants for real life uses imho
Of course, lets not kid ourselves, it's not going to happen any time soon but the trend is that Bitcoin is going to explode in price as demand grows due to it entering the mainstream markets. For Diamond the path is going to be the same. We can only create some services but the real world application of Diamond will indeed require 3rd party involvement and investment. ya I know its a long term investment

pow still going on?
yes we are still pow and pos Proof of Work The reward is 1.05 DMD per solved block. 1 DMD is granted to the miner while 0.05 DMD is contributed to coin support. From 1,000,000 of total coins reward is reduced to 0.1 DMD per solved block. From 2,500,000 of total coins reward is reduced to 0.02 DMD per solved block. After that there will be no further reductions to the reward per solved block. Foundation support will be decreasing with each consecutive switch. Proof of Stake From 450,000 to 1,500,000 of total coins PoS is set to 50% per annum. From 1,500,000 of total coins PoS is reduced to 25% per annum. From 2,500,000 of total coins PoS is reduced to 5% per annum. From 3,500,000 of total coins PoS is reduced to 1% per annum. so buy now while u can get them cheap or mine what u can keep for the long term

Hi. Before you try to conquer the market, need to create the normal blocks explorer network, transaction history, and all the details, including the ability to see the big purses with Diamond. See how it looks in other popular coins. Any DDoS attack and people immediately lose the ability to see what is happening with their transactions. For serious approach is not acceptable. look at the http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency now just such a situation. Excuse me, but this is nonsense. Currently, anyone who has Diamond wallet has *full copy* of the block chain. All information is there. Block explorers are nothing more than a fancy web interface to the wallet. What they do is present you with summaries etc of the information contained in the block chain that is available to everyone. What could be "different" is an "official" block chain explorer, that shows the block chain version that will survive, because of administrative push or similar. This only applies to the last few blocks anyway and is almost nowhere to be seen in other coins. Just a reality check.

beta of new blockexplorer is in internal testing interesting part it shows still lot people didnt cash in their gathered coin-age around 31% of coin-age people burned in transactions but average coin-age of all coins is still 114 days if everyone mint away his coin age that value would be around 30 days conclusio: people go minting! edit: conclusio 2 prepare for birthday party!

WTF Now Mintpal says "Error you must have a larger trade history to vote" ... I have made 2 trades yesterday. I don't have any trades I want to make there today so no votes for me. I think we should concentrate our efforts on Bittrex Getting a reply from them in my email is encouraging Seems they seriously took that bot voting prevention . Well, as for Bittrex, I was for that option until I saw this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=635824.0If the trading volume is low they would pretty quickly kick us out, which would add a lot of uncertainty to the equation. No one likes uncertainty. Because Diamond does not trade in huge volume and if we were potentially traded on a few other exchanges that would be almost certain we would be in trouble. Perhaps Diamond should start it's own exchange. Seems the existing exchanges have the power of life and death over a coin and that's not fair. Think about it, would be a first...

by far not "first" some examples: best - NXT - https://nxt-e.com/and worst -Sharecoin - some shareXcoin website unreachable and at all a big scam or hacked to dead nobody knows......

Great news, Diamond is now accepted on Ritz Grand Casino https://www.ritzgrandcasino.com/Games look great and are not that hard (basically you kick a button). I've already played a few different ones (haven't tried card games, though) - even earned more then I put in, and it's not luck I just score often small amounts, I think. It's good to see Diamond being accepted not only for shopping but also for entertainment. I paid 35DMD (out of my private funds) for 10 credits and one game is about 0.50 .. after playing for some time I'm 11.50 .. it's great fun if someone likes that kind of thriller. EDIT: So 0.50 per spin is a default setting and it gives you 50 lines (that's why it's easier to score) .. but I reduced it to just 3 and now pay 0.03 per game and with 10 credit it gives you 333 spins.. not bad. I have it set at automatic so I do other things in the mean time and check the status from time to time. The game basically plays itself once wins once loses I wonder how it ends .. either a Mega Jackpot 1746 Credits or an empty account.

Everything should be as transparent and user-friendly. You do not look in code to see the current status of the block chain. In fact, the code does not contain that information. The code however provides easy to use user interfaces for interrogating the block chain to find out which transaction was doing what, which block had what transactions etc. An block explorer does not much more than that. The "who are the richest guys" information is coming from scanning all block chain transactions and building yourself a list. Then presenting it in nice ways. Anyone who has an Diamond wallet can do this. You don't need anything special, nor do you need anyone's permission. If, there are "investors" who require some block explorer, run by who know who in their spare time, in order to decide whether to invest or not, then those guys definitely do not care about the fate of their investment. Even the simple block crawler at http://dmdpool.digsys.bg/bc/ is enough for anyone who prefers web interface to the block chain. But, for those who need more statistics, there is an block chain style block explorer (based on Abe) for Diamond too. If such are not enough, then perhaps someone who need a fancier block explorer will just build one? As for transparency, perhaps you will do one more good deed for the community and indicate what is not transparent about Diamond, so that someone could eventually fill in the void.

I think the type of investor Shveicar had in mind is the same who values more how User Interface looks over core code stability and security. In my estimation, this type of investors make majority of this crypto community niche. The real type of a player would indeed not care that much of how things look but whether he could trust people in charge of the coin to make good return of his investment; its all about identifying potential early enough and not being deceived by shiny gimmicks. Regardles of the definition we need to appeal to all types of investors and of course with time we'll address all these issues.
