Lemon_Duck cryptominer malware now targets Linux devicesLemon_Duck (spotted last year by Trend Micro and further examined by SentinelOne) is known for targeting enterprise networks, gaining access over the MS SQL service via brute-forcing or the SMB protocol using EternalBlue according to Guardicore's Ophir Harpaz.
Once it successfully infects a device, the malware drops an XMRig Monero (XMR) CPU miner payload which uses the compromised system's resources to mine cryptocurrency for Lemon_Duck's operators. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/lemon-duck-cryptominer-malware-now-targets-linux-devices/

Is there an up to date version of https://monerobase.com/index.htm ? A bullet point overview of the last 2 years is exactly what I need.

I don't want to come off as a crazy old man but... Coin Telegraph was started shortly after ByteCoin was "discovered". Apparently, ByteCoin had been around for years but was just found. It claimed to only work on CPUs, not GPUs or custom stuff. It was a scam. CT were proponents of ByteCoin and ran positive stories. Someone associated with them bought my CPU hash website (see above) and quickly added CT advertising which is still there. Why is that old, outdated site still alive? Read this old post regarding ByteCoin and the related coins. There may be a few small errors but is generally correct. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112.0just-mike

As i recall an interview with fluffy he said "The DEV of bytecoin was brilliant but an asshole!" I think it is time to move on and leave bytecoin with the other copies of monero behind, hence those are nowhere near monero, so that is enough proof for me

Thank's I had issues getting a transaction in the mem pool and verified on 0.16.0.3. After 45min i flushed the tx_pool, tried the same on 0.16.0.1, same issue so switched back to 0.16.0.0 and everything run smoothly in a few minutes. What i want to express is the fact, that if you make small tweaks in the main version (0.16.x) and this is not broadly used, you can not use the upgraded version as soon as you have the next upgrade to 0.17.x, st least that is my feeling after the weekend.
